I haven’t finished watching your reaction, but I just wanted to come in here and tell you that you MUST watch fancams of their latest Come Back Again performance from day 2 of the Limited Edition Encore concert. It has become my favorite performance and it lives rent free in my head.

Hi Johan! I saw the notification of INFINITE’s MVs reaction before bed and immediately got me out of bed 🤣🤣 I couldn’t help it! INFINITE isn't just legendary for their “kal-kun-mu”(knife dance choreography) but also for their "Jip-chak-dol"(never let go) vibe. Their songs always carry that intense, almost desperate emotional pull — like they're urging to call everyone come back! INSPIRITs once analyzed that "Back" ties into "The Eye" MV. In that storyline, all the members (except Myungsoo) sacrificed themselves. In "The Eye", Myungsoo who left behind, is weighed down by guilt and haunted by the wish that he could die instead and almost like the members’ soul are still around, trying to stop him from giving up. You can see a box filled with fragments of Myungsoo's emotions and old group photos in his wallet. Now I can't wait to see INFINITE's stage reaction 🫶🏻🫶🏻

You're right about Myungsoo's voice! He actually used to consistently have a distinctive high, nasal tone to his voice, even as his vocal ability and confidence continued to develop. Then he came back from the military and BOOM Suddenly his singing style had shifted down to this deeper place in his chest. I love both styles, but I just remember it being surprising how sudden the change was XD. He's turned into quite a good vocalist though, even before the military, but he always seems to be working hard to improve himself.

I waited for you to react their debut comebackagain haha young myungsoo's shirtless scene is sooooo precious💕 Destiny has Ver.B mv as official cuz their original mv had to be changed. At that time there was huge airline crush and the ver.a mv had a lot of scenes with the background as remains of airline crush. For the bereaved family, they deleted all those scenes. This also happend when they released Last Romeo. (You can check those two original mvs in youtube in slightly low quality!) BTW i don't remember watching your reaction to Nothing's over Mv!!!!! I personally think it is one of the most well made mv from IFNT and i do really hope someone request it and you don't miss it🫠

Wow yeah I'm surprised to hear his voice this deep during that era! Although he has had several intermittent *deep moments* in the past, like his bit in Last Romeo has always been more open sounding, and when he sang a Korean version of "Love of My Life" solo. SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE COMMENT but i forgot to mention that I'M SO HAPPY because "She's Back" is one of my all-time favorite Infinite songs which often gets forgotten, but it's got crisp, powerful vocals, good vibes, and a cute dance -- plus what magic did they invoke to make "let's take a camera to the pool" into such a captivating and uplifting music video!? it's just so fantastic and always sounds *amazing* live.

I have this head canon for Before the Dawn and The Eye: In BTD Myungsoo and Woohyun were caught and held in an old factory. The one who comes before the dawn to a meeting point gets freed. Both want that the other goes, so the begin to fight after realising that they can´t escape. Woohyun wins the fight and drags Myungsoo to the meeting point, but on the way there they see that the sun is already up. Unseen: In the end Woohyun gave his life so that Myungsoo could somehow escape. In The Eye, a few years later, Myungsoo goes back to the factory where he and Woohyun were held in BTD. He plans to unalive himself because he can´t move on, he has the feeling to see Woohyun everywhere. But everytime he wants to go in the light something (Sungkyu, Sungyeol, Sungjong) holds him back. He also sees the man who chased them in BTD (Hoya) and only after he let´s himself be caught and he accepted his fate he came out of his mind and could think clear again. In the end Myungsoo feels something like hope and a closure with his and Woohyuns fate.

I'm going through a lot these days (we moved from our house suddenly it's really complicated) anyway but you make my day really, it's so fun watching ur reaction, i'm planning to rejoin patreon once i am able to. also you're totally right i liked so many groups back then but i listen to infinite the most now, they're actually known for having so many myeong-gok which literally means immortal songs. their songs are timeless classics

It wasn’t bc of an airplane crash. They were already in the area filming at Universal Studios but only blocked out the back studio lot for a certain timeframe. The 2nd site is Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA) in Victorville. An airport graveyard

How I remember is that they gave up verA (which was leaked by anon and displayed on public later online) and edited the scenes with any planes in it to commemorate, so verB came out last minute (so the teaser previous this mv had one of those plane scene) !! I'm not familiar with those places where they shot the plane scene, only just a background story piece😅 But yeah.. I do remember they spent lots of money for renting the Universial Studio😢 I looked it up in case i missed any and found a news story published back then that saying a guy from woollim answered the inverview just like i remembered so... I think what happened is it was an Korean airline accident happened in US which they were filming the mv back then but they hesitated cuz they put lots of work in there to not to publish but in the end (after teaser went out) they decided that they simply couldn't let verA with those cuts reminding the crash i guess. I hope I undetstood what you wanted to pointed out in the comment bc I don't feel so sure that i did so if you think i got your words wrong, plz let me know!!

I Love love your reactions...you are me but dialled up a bit more...lol... Totally agree with Myungsoo's singing voice. He always spoke with a deeper tone than what he sang. I don't have the right...But I am so proud of his progress...now to see him switch up in his singing style is beautiful. The MV for Destiny was the highest spend ever at that point in 2013. Woollim invested 1,000,000,000 Won for the filming of this MV, which took place in May 2013 (about 890,000 Dollars / 800,000 Euros).

Not the first time either...they changed the MV for Last Romeo, which had a lot of water/flooding scenes of water spreading through rooms. Then the Sewol Ferry incident occurred (a ferry sunk and killed hundreds of school kids). They had to redo their concept and delay the comeback The third was when they released the MV for "The Eye" in which there was a harsh storm. This was released on the eve of Typhoon Chaba which killed several people in Korea. This mv wasn't edited though
