This has to be one of my favourite reactions to JAEJOONG! The videos both in my YouTube reaction and in this one. I think it is because this work of his is more recent and so I connect with it in a different way because I relate it more to the amazing and beautiful man I've gotten to know in all the JAEFRIENDS episodes? I think that has something to do with it.

I'm so glad he finally won the NEW MOON poll and I thought a lot about what I wanted to include in these playlists. Thank you for voting, for all your recommendations and your patience. Special thanks to Kazie for helping me and answering all my questions. I had the best time ever reacting to all of this and I hope you guys enjoy these reactions. Yes! This was awesome! I’m here, it might be midnight but of course I’m going to watch this instead of sleeping 😂 The AAA 2023 stage Jaejoong totally ate that up. And I think you’re right; he chose those songs for a reason because I believe that that was the first time he had gotten to perform them on a show like this. Totally iconic how they showed the other groups in the audience vibing along with him. I’m only halfway through this reaction so I may need to come back to it tomorrow.

Fellow fans correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure AAA23 was actually the first korean music award show he had been invited to since the lawsuit... (he was invited to some drama/movie awards in that time though) He was invited to GDA 2017 but only to accept an award (didn't let him sit in the audience or interact with artists lol they made him wait off camera all alone im still pissed off about it) so him performing his solo debut songs is deliberate - they're some of his most iconic, the messaging is still relevant, in 2013 they would have definitely won awards if he had normal public exposure instead of blacklisting imo Honestly I was surprised with Suho in attendance at AAA23 that he was still invited - e.g. for TMA24 & HanteoMA24 Jaejoong was invited and attended the days where the line-up did not include any active SM artists. I'm so happy someone is reacting to his jpn releases!! He worked really hard re-entering the jpn market too as a solo act I actually love defiance & lavender so much and wish more people saw it :( yes the people in sweetest love are celebrities and if you ever get the chance, there's a live stage at his jpn concert where he keeps hip thrusting and calling out members of the audience to hip thrust as well :D

Jaejoong will perform at it's live (youtube) again soon, there will be 2 videos, one is with his fans & another one is without audience just like glorious day live performance. Will give the link once available. Still no news on whether he'll able to perform in music show for rock star. Last year he only went once on inkigayo for glorious day & I am U. I think Jaejoong’s 2023 AAA stage was a perfect performance that really set an example for junior idols. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Johan’s reactions on stage! The live performances of Jaejoong’s newly released songs at his Asia tour concert last week were amazing too. You should totally check out those stages as well! Love you, Johan!!

Oh, wow! This was awesome! I don’t think I had ever seen the complete MVs of Defiance and Lavender until now, so I’m really happy!! I love those two singles so much, they are truly polar opposites but he’s good with so many genres ❤️ Loved the AAA live performance, he was so happy to be invited to an award show, his last one was in 2008 when promoting “Mirotic” 😭 I also think he chose to sing his debut songs for a reason, it was the 10th anniversary of his first EP release and yet he had never managed to sing “Mine” on TV before, so he took the opportunity. It was an awesome performance ❤️

And yes! We would totally loved to watch a first listen reaction either to “WWW” or “Beauty in Chaos” with lyrics!! It would be so much fun! 🤩 Also knowing that he’s still singing rock but that this time his music isn’t coming from a place of hurt and frustration, rather that he’s genuinely happy where he is, it gives his music a different vibe! From “Mine” to “Rockstar” he’s come a long way. And watching him sing his old rock songs on his latest tour has really given his previous music a different light for me, knowing it all will lead to this moment where he is so happy and free ❤️ It’s very heartwarming and inspiring! ❤️

Love your reactions! For Defiance I think that at the end the girl was recarnated to the present and they met again. I would love for you to react to JX concert ( Jaejoong and Xia ) at least to their love in ice stage and mirotic. If you react to Brava Brava Brava , you should pay attention to the colours used at the toilets.. 😜 Keep them coming..
