It is not only Korean and Chinese trainees, it is a Korean show (in korean) and a Chinese show (in chinese), any nationality could apply to either one

The survival will starts with one ep with the korean trainiees and an other episode with the C trainiees and after that, they all will reunite (k and c trainiees) like in BP1 or GP999 (sorry if I wrote that wrong my english sucks 😭💀)

no hate towards the group at all, i just think it was so weird how they handled that final episode and then waited so long to debut the group and i feel like it all affected their popularity but i could be wrong. wishing them nothing but the best :)))

Your ability to recognize faces in a split second never ceases to amaze me. So so many of these guys are from other survival shows or groups I can't even keep track. From what I've seen they're currently split in to 2 shows, 1 in Korea 1 in China but they will merge in to 1 at some point. Majority of Planet K are Korean but there are quite a handful of Japanese and a few other nationalies there. Planet C is mostly Chinese but theres also a few other nationalities like Taiwan, Thai, Vietnamese, etc. I was debating on watching this show but MAN! Now I have to since so many of my boys from other suvival shows are on here. I really really hope Yichen debuts this time. Poor guy has been training for so long.

I watched just about every survival show you mentioned but only recognized the contestants from Project 7 because I'm watching it now. I'm also kinda loving the over the topness of this so far. I’m team Sangwon! He trained for 6 years and was apart of Big Hits ‘trainee a’ debut group that was dismissed in 2022. He even trained with txt and enhypen members. We saw he has a star patch and was in the top row so seems he did well for the introduction and signal song!!
