Finally we're down to one episode a week, though part of me will miss the extra footage since it was at least a chance for more trainees to get screen time. So many of them continue to get little to no attention, but it is what it is. Let me know if any of the videos on their YouTube would be worth reacting to, otherwise I might just watch them for myself.

I think all three performances we got to see in this episode were good. Some trainees stood out more than others but I think everyone did well, including HU HAN WEN 🫠 No matter how exaggerated the editing was for the shaky start of his part during the performance. WHATEVER.

Stray Kids covers are rarely my cup of tea but I loved the TWS performance and the whole group! HE XIN LONG seems so sweet and caring 😭 Let me know your thoughts in the comments~

Xinlong took care of the youngest in Boy Story (Shuyang), so it's only natural that he took Yunseo under his wing. :) I hope someone on the K side recognizes who is is and his experience. Also, Boy Story has cute concepts. Xinlong needs to stop and go back to his roots. Also, I would've flexed that I'm under the same company as SK and they are my friends. LOL

i haven't vote for chuei liyu and chung sanghyeon before but i just can't believe the fact that every time i opened twt, i see lots of hate about them 😅 it just brings me back to my bp1 era. if you were active on twt you would get it. i worked my ass off to defend gyuvin there because every time the interim ranking drop, people keep calling him a sneak, even when he made it into the final line up. but the hate kinda decreased at his en garde performance but still too much! i'm just hoping that liyu and sanghyeon improve next week because it somehow annoyed me seeing the hate when it only has been a couple of episodes drop even though they're not in my line up. i just hope people can invest their hate energy toward trainees who faces serious allegations of bullying, even s*xual harassment. at the same time i understand how other people feel though because there's a lot of name that you already saw on other program before and you already know how good they are. while liyu and sanghyeon, i believe this program is the first time they're introduced to the public. but i just think the hate is craaaazyy. we don't know how good they are yet. oh if you still wonder where their hype came from, before the episode drop there's like a first meeting thing with all the trainees (idk how u call it) liyu and sanghyeon kinda catch the public eyes from there. my current top 8 is jiang fan, anxin, jiahao, xinlong, donggyu, haneum, woojin, kangmin! i also want to include sangwon, leo, and junmin if i can

The ranks on their name tags at the beginning were based on the number of views of their hola solar cams as well as the masters decisions, nothing to do with their actual ranks in terms of votes! Sangwon has been ranked number 1 from the start on voting! Made no sense to me either when i saw yumeki as number 1...

okay Johan that is probably the first time I can't agree with you on something haha Hanwen in fact did not deserved main vocal part (even tho I love him and voted for him once) he was bad at pronouncing the words, his voice wasn't really stable either (and that may ruin the performance a bit imo) and even tho he did get better I still think maybe if other guys tried and practiced it more some or at least one of them would do good or at least better... also I think mine was pretty good leader (not the best) but he in fact believed in Hanwen and wanted him to do the part and the clapping thing was smart for Hanwon to learn to be on beat and not rush or be late (I'm writing this when I'm at the part they said they should have change it so idk what's coming next since I'm first time watching with you all the episodes 😅🩷) so that's just my thoughts for now hihi

2:04:04 the diva with the face card you're asking about is Jang Haneum, if you haven't been paying attention to him, now is your time! he's an AMAZING vocalist, he debuted as a soloist two years ago and put out some really great songs since then, maybe you could check out some of his work in your own time if you're interested another trainee i'd like to promote to you is Muhn Wonjun, he's in the same team (WHIB) as Junmin and he's also a really great vocalist and just very talented overall, he literally played the violin, sang rewrite the stars and rode a damn unicycle in his pr video😭 i just hope he'll get more screen time because he was barely shown so far, just like Jia Hao..they hate to see the divas coming but they can't stop me from voting for them

Gonna miss Jaejoong.. this is my first time watching Korean Survival Show because of Jaejoong.. And also Jaejoong's first participation in a Survival Show.. and now he won't be in some of the episodes (maybe even he would only comeback on the finals).. these makes me traumatized on watching korean survival shows😭😭😭 I hope this show does not make you stop reacting to Jaejoong🥲 I came to love your reactions on TVXQ, especially Jaejoong, and this is the first time I love a reactor to even subscribe and use my Patreon account just for your reactions.. here’s my thing about the hanwen situation… I really think minjae did his best to help hanwen… like he can literally just let hanwen fail but he keeps on checking in him even if it looks harsh sometimes… I think the clapping is for the bpm of the song… hanwen is having a hard time with pronunciation and because of that he is not reaching the cadence of his part… I really think minjae helped him… if not he’s probably gonna do worse than that… I know we have faves in the show… I also saw people defending hanwen that he’s good vocally in his performances… but this is him now… it sucks that he probably did not get enough korean lessons before entering the show which is not helping him at all… and let’s consider it cuz being an idol they’re gonna need to do things quick like learning lyrics and such… but I also blame mnet… they made it more bigger that hanwen is doing bad but he actually isn’t… Its not good but not terrible… but lets not blame it on minjae cuz it really looks like he’s been helping hanwen… I actually blame it on the other members for not even trying to do hanwen’s line and see if it can work with them… even minjae asked them to try but they don’t care… so really I think minjae did the best out of the situation… it just sucks… cuz I think hanwen is a great performer… its just that it should have been a different show where he should be in a chinese group but mnet messed everything up so the chinese trainees needs to debut with the korean trainees now.

really couldnt enjoy the stray kids performances, the song is too weird to me as a whole though it has good parts :"D also i think you already know and i dont want to come off as 🤓👆🏾 but seowon's name is pronounced as 'sowon' and you sometimes mix the spelling, just to let you know!♡ im not sure if the romanization mixes up his name in your head bcause sometimes you say it correctly sometimes not :"D kind of like taerae's last season. AND YES im voting for jiahao even though hes got so little screentime, he seems very talented as does yichen, havent watched them in other shows but i hope their ranks climb up🫠

im so tired of mnet editing these eps like they did years and years ago, always repeating some moments for 8 times and then inserting a part we saw some minutes ago,,,,idk whats up with them,, also the first s-class perf was planned poorly, not having members audition for parts, giving hanwen bad critics and then no one ofc wont want to take the part either, not having anymore confidence. hanwen did his best with what was given🙄and with tws perf, only editing to focus on one member somehow takes away the whole performance coming up, like they didnt exist at all,,, id like to see them all practicing and mnet can insert difficulties that happened there too but MAN i barely noticed bowen or nian there😔

The Geonwoo situation someone who trained with him has come out and explained what happened and that most of the accusations he got are misunderstanding and some exaggeration idk if it is true or not but i kinda believe he isn't a bad person just bc i have seen what rumors like this have done to idols careers and then end up being false accusations

Thanks so much for this episode! I think the only prior bp video I'd rec would be the c group reacting to their signal song performance, I think you'd understand why after watching it idk, its just feels good. Also the k group reacted to their 1st episode instead (c group didnt suprise suprise), but its a boring watch imo compared, idk the editing has been bad so far on the show in general. Like this episode intentionally took screentime away from trainees and their practice for...a cringey mukbang? what. anyways, looking foward to next week.

That’s why I quit watching Mnet survival shows (although I’m kinda watching this one with you right now) The last one I watched was Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, and thankfully it ended with good results (most of my faves got into Wanna One) But watching the whole show was so stressful 😵‍💫 I feel like I can’t take anything from Mnet shows seriously anymore because the amount of evil editing they do is just crazy. Like you said, Minjae appeared rude, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be all due to evil editing. They put the trainees under so much pressure that it brought out the worst in them, then edited all their parts to make those moments seem like their actual personality and portray them as evil. Same thing with the masters, I remember Soyou from Sistar talking about how they spent so much time teaching the trainees that producers would even call them in when there wasn’t any filming happening, just to help with training. So it’s stressful for the mentors too, which probably explains why they lose their temper at times. And of course, the show only includes the dramatic parts and leaves out all the good moments. Also, I’m so happy to see Ong Seongwu! He was the reason Produce 101 2 was funny and entertaining 🥹 He’s so talented, funny and handsome, maybe he’s the handsome actor we needed 🫶🏻 Tbh, it threw me off how nobody wanted to be the main vocalist. I remember in the first two seasons they were fighting for the position and was as just as important as the center. So far, I find myself most drawn to Kim Junseo 😵‍💫 I don’t know anything about the trainees beyond the episodes I’ve watched with you, and he doesn’t talk that much, but there’s just something about him that’s so attractive 🫠

Loved xinlong in this, I dont really have a full top 8 as of right now but the four that I am pretty set on atm are kangmin, yumeki, heng yu and xinlong i vote for those 4 mainly and alternate with the other four votes based on who i wanna see more of 😜

I know it's too late to write, but Minjae wasn't bad, he wasn't rude, he supported all members, he gave HanWen time to improve and helped him, cause noone wanted to be main vocal (we saw that he offered others to take main vocal part after bad words from judges), and he definitely has talent to be narcisist even so he wasn't.
