I still can't believe this was his first time on TV after 15 years, I'll never get over how crazy it is what SM did to him. But at least those years are over and he has so much success these days! This was so fun to watch, I loved getting to see his home and him getting all of this lovely attention, it's truly what he deserves! And that kimchi looked delicious 🌞 Let me know what you guys think in the comments~

What a lovely reaction notification to get - loved this! It was so enjoyable to watch you react to this episode 😄 He's guested a lot on this show after this, it really helped to bring him to the public eye again, plus it's good fun and you get to see his personality a lot through this show! There's some really lovely episodes with him and his sisters too (some fun moments plus some sweet/emotional moments), so I definitely recommend watching those if you want to see more. Looking forward to your future Jaejoong reactions too, as always! 🫶

I’m so glad this got requested! The cooking shows are so much fun, and there’s no need to calm down, I love how you react to Jaejoong! I hope there will be a lot more cooking show requests, it’s great to see him interact with his family and hear all the stories about him growing up, and seeing his house, etc. you remembered correctly, he was adopted when he was three years old, although he did not find out until he was in T VXQ. I was interested in getting his cookbooks, but the only ones I could find were only in Korean, I don’t think either of them have been translated into English. Those bottles on the fridge door were all hot sauce, he likes to collect them! He told the story one time that he went to a noodle shop in Japan, and if you could finish a bowl of their special hot noodles, you get put on their wall. Only five people were able to get through a bowl of noodles, and Jaejoong one of them! I guess for some people when you eat something really hot, it releases a chemical that relieves stress, so that’s why he likes it. I’m such a white girl, a little bit of hot sauce, and I turn beet red, and my eyes, nose and throat turned into Niagara Falls– lol! I can’t handle it!

I loveeee this cooking series of him and his family. You'll get to know more about this amazing man. His life is like a movie with so much up and down 🥲 But he was also so lucky to meet his family. The way family members treat each other with love and careness, also the fact that he has 8 older sisters does give strong influence on his warm-hearted personality. Please continue to react this series 🙏🙏🙏

Mine for the cucumber cutting was great too. It's actually so fun hearing and recognising all the songs they play Yes he's adopted, it comes up in other episodes actually, the whole family is very sweet about it. He has also made it to grandpa generation this year!

I’m so glad you enjoyed this! The next episode has sisters 1,2,6,7,&8. Then sisters 4&5 are in another. They do talk a lot about his adoption in the later episodes. Those plates and decorations with all those faces are funny, in his previous house half the house was decorated with faces. Someone on a Japanese TV show told him it gave the house bad vibes at the time lol, he obviously kept them. Oh the infamous horse lamp :D He’s had that for a long time. It got a mention on Jaefriends that once a friend while drunk tried to ride on it and it fell over. Funny you brought up the snake reference/implication with the table, because back in 2004 TVXQ did this drawing analysis where they had to draw a picture with a snake and apparently the size of the snake drawn related to how interested they were in sex. Jaejoong’s snake drawing was huge haha. This house is probably the smallest house he’s owned. Unfortunately he had to move house a lot as saesang fans find out where he lives and break in. As a side note, I can’t believe you’ve been in your new apartment for a year already, that feels like it’s gone really quickly.
