Oh wow! Hyde is legendary, as is Yoshiki and Sugizo. I have been a fan of L’Arcenciel since 2002 😄 Jaejoong is a massive fan of Hyde and X-Japan (Yoshiki’s band). He is actually friends with Hyde and they go to dinner together in Japan haha Jaejoong has covered Glamorous Sky, which L’arc en ciel and Hyde originally performed (original artist is actually Mika Nakashima) Jaejoong also did a song with Sugizo - Big Revolution, and Hyde produced a song for Jaejoong - Breaking Dawn. They all came together on stage in Jaejoong’s 2022 Fallinbow concert and performed the songs together. Hyde and Jaejoong were supposed to perform together at the Lucky Fes a couple of weeks back in Japan but the timings didn’t work out apparently. Hyde’s vocals are amazing. As a note he actually wasn’t a vocalist he was a guitarist but when Tetsu formed L’Arcenciel in 1991 he managed to convince Hyde to take the vocalist role.

Forgot to add Jaejoong’s song Last Vow sounds so L’Arcenciel/Hyde inspired. He hasn’t said it is, but when I first heard it I thought it sounds more j-rock than anything else.

Oh, wow! This was an amazing surprise! I’ve been in love with Hyde and “L’arc en ciel” since 2001, ever since I heard Rurouni Kenshin’s ending “The fourth avenue café”. It’s been such a long time but I still love that song with all my heart. Im so happy you liked his voice ❤️ I actually got my username from a “L’arc en ciel” song “Loreley” which sounds very similar to my real name. Although most people pronounce it as Lorelai because of Gilmore Girls, which I also loved back in the day, so I don’t mind it. And thanks for the heads-up about the concert. I already had my ticket to see him on November but if I had missed it somehow, your video would have made me aware! I missed X-Japan back in the day when they went to my country and I kept seeing Hyde touring in the American continent, so I can’t say how happy I am that he is coming to Europe so I can see him for the first time ❤️ If only Jaejoong did the same, right? ❤️

Forgot to say that “Red swan” was the opening for the anime “Attack on Titan”, the third season. You gotta give it to Hyde, he’s been singing anime openings and endings since the 90’s and he’s not stopping! Just last year he sang a collaboration for the anime “Demon Slayer”, singing both the opening and ending of that season. The popularity this man has after 30 years is nothing short of incredible! ❤️

I’m so happy you get to see Hyde live in concert! Fingers crossed that Jaejoong decides to do Europe one day for you all. I’m tempted to shelve JJ for a month and request some earlier L’Arc en ciel content now

Loreley Bernal

Thank you! I still can believe it! And I’ve been thinking the same!! Hyde has soo many good songs and he’s always good live, I was pondering whether to request more of him 🙈 I read Jaejoong was gonna do a concert in Latin America this year but haven’t hear anything about it. Has he cancelled those plans?? I would be willing to travel that far to see him 🙈❤️

Kazie

He said he couldn’t do the Latin America concerts due to venue difficulties - ie was only offered very tiny venue or very huge venue. ….soooo I booked to see him in Japan next month for his Reverie concert 🫣😅 (I’m from New Zealand so the travel isn’t tooooo bad).

Oh wow! Never expected to see you react to Hyde, but I'm definitely here for it! The amount of energy from these legends in this video is crazy! So beautiful! Funny enough, you could say Hyde is the reason I'm here now. 😅 He was the first artist I discovered (a L'Arc~en~Ciel video) where my young self realized real men can be as attractive as the men in comics. 🤣 From there I discovered more J-rock, then eventually K-pop which inevitably led me here! Oh, also, another K-pop connection Hyde has is with Yuta from NCT; they're friends too along with Jaejoong. I think Hyde and Yuta recently performed together too, in case you're interested. Thanks for another great reaction and to Anicka for the request!

Loreley Bernal

Oh, I didn’t know he said that. That’s very unfortunate 🥲Fans in Latin America have been waiting for him ever since Junsu went to Mexico and Chile 🙈 Congrats on the Reverie concert!!! May I ask you how you booked it?? Hyde was so easy to, he had ads on instagram and his official concert page was in English, thanks goodness! But every time I tried to book a concert in Japan, it’s been impossible 🙈😅 I must be doing something wrong 🙈

Lulu Skai

Hyde He did too Collaborated with TXT comeback Japanese album out October 20th and I'm so excited because TXT is the most rock star K-pop group
