Wahhhhh I knew you would love Daydream 🥰 its seriously such an amazing song. I think you would love both Nell and Epik High too. Nell has some of the most beautiful (but not boring) music. Also I dont *think* the audience knew those two would be joining for that stage based on their reactions when Jongwan first came out on stage. They were so loud and Jongwan had to like press his ear piece in on one side to hear himself better lol such an iconic performance. There's a stage where Hoya does the rap too and I love that one as well 💜

I have a theory with that Stuck On performance that he was thinking about his sister that passed recently. There's a lyric in that song thats something like "we're living under the same sky right?" If he was thinking of her that's gut wrenching 💔 Ive been really wanting to request some first listens for his music so you can see the lyrics but its actually really hard to find lyric videos for everything. I got a new computer recently and was thinking about trying to make my own lol not that I have any idea how id do that 😅 but it'd be worth it

48:50 that is his band! Im not sure how long they've been together but he recently went to a Muse concert with the one you can see behind him. Someone else was with them which might have been one of the other two guys. Also the drummer is amazing especially at the end there. So good.

Finally, you get why Sunggyu became my ultimate bias-wrecker (don't tell L Myungsoo too LOL). His solo songs hit exactly my music taste, and his live performances with the band are just on another level. He’s got this effortlessly cool vibe that’s totally his own. No offense—I loved him in Infinite, but there’s just something about his solo live performances that makes him insanely charming and ridiculously handsome. I always scream and fall in love with him when watch his solo performance. Uri leader is so charismatic and cool. Sungkyu as solo artist has his own music style, singing style and of course rock/ grunge vibe and I love it. Recently he listet a few bands that he likes privately like Linkin Park, Muse, Evanescence, Goldplay,. . . and I think it shows in his own solo stuff. Also that's all bands I listened to growing up, so we have that in common 😁

Thank you so much, truly… that was such a blessing and thank you to Katie as well 🫂🩵🩵 I’m so happy you got into Sunggyu’s solo music and that you actually like it 🥺 41 Days is one of my all time favorites even though I have so many favorites from him tbh, but there’s just something about the melody and lyrics that gets me every single time. I also agree about Stuck On, I love the vibe so much It’s so uplifting and I love it even more because Sunggyu once shared that during some of his music show promotions, he felt excluded or like he didn’t belong there 😢 And when he performs Stuck On, he said it’s funny how his own song comforts him because of how reassuring the lyrics and the overall feeling are. Till the Sunrise and Daydream are other faves 😭 and I love them even more live!! I feel like that’s the case with so many Sunggyu songs I end up listening to the concert versions so much more.

Yes..his bandmates travel evrywhere for Gyu’s solo. They’ve been with Sunggyu since he joined DoubleHTNE (now acquired/merged with Billion). He and the ceo do the band mate selection Fun fact..this band perform with Infinite for the Comeback again concert. Probably for Limited Edition too but not so sure.

Sunggyu love hardcore music during his teen until he listen to Nell’s. He has so much respect to kim jonghwan. His album 10 Stories was produced and written by Kim JongHwan. He must be over the moon

Gyu was inspired a lot by Jongwan and his band Nell. he's covered them a bunch of times and is second to none other than Kim Jongwan himself /that and more glazing at 10 o'clock. Jongwan also composed several of Gyu's albums (which Tablo teased him about on that Youtube show where WooGyu knitted with Epik High). XD
