THE BOYFRIEND is finally back and I could not be more excited. 50% more episodes than last season, we are truly blessed. I love that this takes place during winter, I feel like all the snow and winter activities just adds to the coziness of getting back inside and staying warm 🥰 It also reminds me of HIS MAN 2 which I love. So far I really like all the contestants, they're super cute and it's so fun watching them get to know each other.

The pace feels perfect, it's a slow build up in the beginning and the fact that they will be staying together for two months means they will really get to know each other and probably maybe change who they are initially interested in? In dating shows when they're not allowed the same amount of time it feels like they stick to their first picks because they feel like they have to, in a way so I hope that won't happen here.

HUWEI is the one I seem to have fallen the hardest for so far, he's just so impressive in so many ways while also being incredibly charming because of his unique personality. Doesn't hurt that he's also super attractive, obviously 🫠 I hope he will get to go on a date with IZAYA again but also HIROYA!

At first HIROYA came off as really negative to me but I feel like that changed especially in the third episode. His confidence came out and he started being more pursuing which I love. I was too harsh on him early on, I'd probably be feeling super insecure in his situation 😭

Besides being super attracted to WILLIAM I don't know how I feel about him as the episodes continue. It's hard to know where he stands because I feel like he doesn't really express that but it's also early on so I am really interested to see how things develop with him and IZAYA and him and JUBO.

JUBO is such a sweet heart and I love his personality, he's so fun and cute that I can't help but love him. I'm really rooting for him. I loved the conversation he had with BOMI and how they cheered each other on in the third episode.

Oh dear BOMI, he is young and hasn't really been in a relationship and I think it shows and I say that with love. I think he will learn so much about himself in this experience and I'm looking forward to seeing that.

I really admire KAZUYUKI for being part of this and how open he was. His situation is really interesting because he has been in a relationship for so long, but I feel like I haven't really gotten to know him. I think he's at a disadvantage because of his age since there isn't really anyone close to his age which probably makes it harder for him to find someone to connect to. But sometimes age doesn't really matter and you can connect anyway, obviously. I'm interested to learn more about him.

I really like IZAYA and I can totally see why he's so popular. The history he has with WILLIAM is interesting but I would like to see him date somebody else because of that. I wonder how things will develop between them after their conversations in the third episode. I get the feeling that WILLIAM is the one who treated IZAYA badly but IZAYA seems to be blaming himself for it. I don't like that, but maybe I'm wrong.
