The complete turnaround I had from the first track to the last while listening to this album is unlike anything I've ever experienced doing a first listen I think. As you can see I was so confused and skeptical of the narration tracks but once I got into it and now after having heard the album in it's entirety - I love it so much. It felt so immersive listening to the english narrations and then the songs while reading the english lyrics.

This is such a cool concept that I didn't know would work and even though I don't want to listen to the narrations while listening to the album I'm still glad that they exist. I think I was just a little disappointed and confused at first because I thought there would be 11 songs, like many of us I assume? But now I think the narration tracks (IDK what to call them) add so much depth to the songs and the story of the album. I bet it's even more epic listening to the narration in korean and reading the english translation.

I need to listen to the songs on the album more but right now I love them all. After this I took Poppie for a walk and listened to the album and I fell in love with STEALER right away! I just needed to hear it again but literally every song on this album is so good and it feels new. I love their vocals so much, especially JAKE 🥰 I'M SO EXCITED for his LMS episode!

that's so coooool, our producer 😭 the way it set the scene for "no way out" is actually amazing, it just took me a while to get into what was going on but after hearing it again it's so cool. love the instrumental and how it leads into the song

yeah i was def a narration hater at first, but i think that was primarily because they made it out like we were getting 11 songs and then half of it was people that wasn’t them talking—but after hearing it all like this, i do love that it tells a story and it’s lore…just wish they told us that was what we were getting

About what everyone else is saying is because they probably never read the notices and promotions about the new album, they specifically said that was a mini album which means it’s max of 6 songs and they said that it would be a conceptual album with narratives tracks like a radio program mistery show. A lot of people didn’t read the description that they give us before the album release and that’s why people was confused. But they told us before hand. Still good reaction btw stealer and lost Island are my favs 💃🏻💃🏻

oml you are the best. This was a JOURNEY and I was sat, now lets get you in a boardroom for THE SIN : RETURN. I LOVE the album and can't pick a favorite song, but as someone who likes to listen to cds in the car the narration tracks are gonna be a pain (i'm gonna have to start burning cds again😭) Really love them as a deeper dive into the album tho, it feels like more of an experience with them. I do hope they eventually go back to doing the old intro/outro narration tracks with the members because I really enjoyed them and still listen to them a lot, I love them talking/singing to me over a cool instrumental.

I WOULD LOVE TO BE IN THAT BOARD ROOM!! yeah that will be a pain, i didn't even think about listening to the actual CD like a lot of people do as well. that will be annoying haha. i really hope they do the older style of intro/outro songs too, those are so epic and cinematic. but this is a cool concept although a bit annoying practically in some situations

i only read the first announcement which said it would be the 7th mini album and then i just saw there would be 11 tracks when i presaved it on spotify. just a little confusing at first but now i love it :)

I'm still a narration hater and I think a big part of that is because I was expecting the old style of intros/outros where they're narrated by the members and are actually really nice to listen to each time. Being able to listen to an album all the way through is really important to me and an album immediately loses a lot of points when I can't do that. I'm also a bit tired of them reheating their own nachos with these vampire romance plots 😆 I feel like it should have ended with R:U daydream. Surely vampires (and humans) have more concerns than just romance. I was really intrigued by the fugitive plot at first but of course they turned it back in to this weird '7 vampires and 1 human woman' concept. If it weren't for all the things mentioned above, I would be in love with this album because the songs are really good. My faves are Lost Island and Sleep Tight but No Way Back is such a quality atmospheric track that I love to hear from Enhypen. I feel like BGDC could have been the TT or like a pre-release, if it were longer. Knife is the weakest track on the album imo.

the melody of NO WAY BACK is saurrrrrr vampire AND I LOVE IT! their tones match so well to the song, the sprinkled use of so!yoon's voice is perfect ...... if you consider this their intro, which i will be doing, it matches their streak of making perfect album intro tracks ✨❤️‍🔥 LOST ISLAND has to be my favorite, and i feel like it would have a choreo that's both sweet and sexy ....... hybe why couldn't you give us that smh you became feral hanging onto every lyric in SLEEP TIGHT, and girl, same! jake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you wrote theeee romantic / sexy rnb song of the album, and THANK YOU FOR THE JUNGWON CHORUS BABE I ENJOYED THAT VERY MUCH 💋 no bridge and final chorus but i won't be too mad at you because the rest of it, including the excellent line distribution and decisions for who-sings-what, is perfect!

i think also one nice thing about narrations in their other albums, aside from it usually being their actual voices, is that they weren't *just* narrations. they usually extended into songs (thinking of FATE and MORTAL, which are some of my faves from their respective albums despite the fact that half of them are narrations in languages i don't speak). and you could hear the melodies growing and changing underneath the spoken word, until it finally transformed and the music in the background became a real song. feel like they could've done it here too, not sure why they didn't. respectfully disagree on the idea of them ditching the vampire concept! i think they've been able to mold that idea with each release in terms of sound and vibe so i'm not sick of it. perhaps the story isn't very different each time, but i feel like we only tune into the story with the album roll-out, and i don't mind that the idea is always 'immortal romance w/ a human.' i do agree that the 7-vamps-1-girl mold is overdone by now, but with how kpop fans are (and frankly it seems like k-engenes are this way, from what i gather online), having them tell romance stories that are one member x one love interest seems like it'll never happen. agree on the favorite songs! but for me, BGDC and knife are equally at the bottom of my list. maybe will grow after i see performances...
