Love this reaction to both these shows! I knew you'd clock It's Raining Men & enjoy that performance - I love that they got to have fun and sing a slightly less serious song for once 😅 And Oshareism was such a fun show to watch, I always enjoy seeing their personalities shine a bit more. You're right re: SM not minding as much towards 2008/9 about Jaejoong showing his personality more - he was allowed to have more fun in variety shows from 2008 onwards, but MCs had always wanted him to come back because they knew he was funny so from 2008 we got to see him be himself on variety shows way more! (Pre-blacklist, that is 🥲) Yunho definitely looked panicked about him showing photos, but there's ABSOLUTELY a more concrete/specific reason for him to have worried 🤭 I hope you have the chance to react to them on the K-Variety show Come To Play in 2008; not only do they actually talk about this (and you'll learn why Yunho was so panicked!) but it's also just a SUPER fun variety showing for them. Especially for Jaejoong fans 😂

Both shows were so great! The first one had a perfect mixture of songs, the first song being so beautiful, then the iconic It’s Raining Men, then an a cappella song. I love seeing their personalities on the second show… Junsu with his “out of body experience“! Lol! Yoochun’s bag, and the can of bugs was just too much – lol!

Thank you for your reaction Johan 😊 The Oshareism episode is one of the funniest ones from that time, it still makes me laugh every time I watch it. Particularly the drawings and also the bag contents with the weird items. Yunho always used to look nervous as hell anytime Jaejoong started getting carried away on a show, and also because everyone knew Jaejoong’s phone was full of compromising pictures of all the members. Apparently Jaejoong still has all of his old phones from TVXQ era. Jaejoong always tended to go gender neutral when asked to describe stuff like ideal women. He was pretty consistent with the “pretty hands” thing for a long time. I can’t remember what show it was on, but they got asked to draw a zebra and Jaejoong somehow managed to get away with drawing a front perspective of a zebra with a “tongue” sticking out but he’d clearly just drawn a dick picture and made a zebra around it haha. No one noticed at the time. He definitely knew what he was doing with it though 😅

I always feel like all 5 came across as so much older than they were. Like Changmin is 20/21 here, the other four are 22-23 years old. Particularly when you think about the lawsuit, which was only a few months after the second show, people tended to forget just how young they still were. Also the fact these were 17/18 years ago is actually scary to me how time passes. I remember very clearly these shows and performances happening and downloading them at the time - these files I uploaded for this request were the original files I literally downloaded 18 years ago 😬
