This was such a fun trip, I love how it didn't feel like work for them like they said multiple times. Also I doubt they are able to walk around this freely in Korea or any country in Asia for that matter without getting recognized all the time, so that must also have been a welcome change for them.

I think CHANGMIN was especially cute in this, he just had the best time taking in the view, the culture and the feeling of France in general. He seemed so grateful for this experience and it was so lovely to see 🥰

JAEJOONG keeps stealing my attention as usual (but so is YUNHO lately 🫠) and I loved his little mission of getting people to wave back and how he seems so fond of kids IT WAS SO CUTE! I hope you enjoy watching this with me and let me know all your thoughts in the comments~ 💙

Thank you DEB D for your request~ 🌠

Bonjour Paris had like 100 pages, it was crazy! I'm sure I have them ripped to a CD somewhere (showing my age! 👵) but a quick peek at some HD scans? I got you boo. 😉https://rawrboysmodemedia.wordpress.com/2010/10/26/bonjour-paris-ii-scans/ I loved this reaction - the guys were so much fun and couldn't stop singing! But every time I see this I just remember how tired they all were back then and remember that they're all being so random and silly because they're all a little sleep deprived (as well as being naturally silly!) They do have another set of this kind of travel photoshoot content out there like this from before Paris, when they went to Prague for their Prince in Prague photobook/shoot - it's shorter, but worth checking out if you have a chance. All DVD rips, like Bonjour Paris, since YT definitely wasn't in use much back then so that was our only way of seeing this kind of content! 😅

It was so nice to see these guys relaxed, roaming around Paris! Junsu loves to play soccer, and is captain on a celebrity soccer team, FC Men. He was signed with SM at age 11, and had a lot of voice and dance training. On some variety shows, they would put him against U-Know for dance offs. U-Know was a backup dancer at 15, before he became an idol, and is still very well known for his dancing. One of the funniest parts was when Jaejoong had to have dinner with Changmin’s parents, because his parents saw so much footage of them hitting each other. Jaejoong had to reassure them that he does not hate Changmin – lol! DBSK was the name of the group in Korea, and TVXQ! was their international name, but both translate to Rising Gods of the East!

This photo book released on 2007, I remember that it is very expensive since I was young, around USD 125..🥹 But I really like the photo book design, it is truly beautiful.

I didn't get into kpop until 2011, so I can't speak to how the special feature discs and things were shared back in the day. However, I was into fanfiction back in the mid-2000s, so I would guess there were still domains specifically created as fan-sites for the group, ships, and each member. In the 2010s, there was onehallyu, wordpress, and allkpop (I think?). Onehallyu was great for shipping moments/content lol I truly miss domain websites *sigh* Good times :)

1.36.12 “this is not the first time I’ve talked about a douche in relation to Jaejoong” Why is this not surprising in any shape or form, I am dying over here 😂🤣😭

I am late to comment I’m sorry, I somehow missed this in notifications. Bonjour Paris was so good, and they all looked like they had a great time. Back in the day usually these sorts of things got ripped off the discs then shared on fan sites to download. Somewhat trickier than now because internet speed wasn’t what is now and it would take a while to download massive files in good quality. I don’t remember any of these being on YouTube that early on I feel that most TVXQ content didn’t really start appearing on YouTube until a bit later and even then it would often get taken down due to copyright. The Japanese stuff especially. People used to share torrents or someone would record the performance then again share it on a membership based fan site.
