WHAT DO YOU MEAAAAN there's only one episode left after this?! I love this show so much and I didn't realize how much I missed GEMINIFOURTH (idk how to say their ship name I'm so old) and I'm not ready to part with them again when this show ends 😭 They are both SO incredibly good in this show, they act so well and their chemistry is just insane. This is such a different vibe from MSP and I love both shows so much. I might have to rewatch that for myself when I finish this one just to deal with the loss.

I think it's really cool the way this show showcases the struggles of religious guilt for queer people and I hope it can help young people growing up with similiar feelings of shame. Representation is so important and I know it could be risky for the actors to tackle this type of concept and I'm really proud of them, they portray these characters so well. I just want them to go back to the tree by the waterfall 🫠 Let me know all your thoughts in the comments~ 💙

57:30 I felt bad for Kongdech the whole show, loosing friend right in front of your eyes id hard, I was even okay with him feeling betrayed by Tan for not telling bit BUT THE MOMENT THAT THING MENTIOND TANRAK'S PARENTS I lost all my sympathy and I don't care about him anymore cuz THAT IS NOT A THING YOU SAY TO YOUR FRIEND especially since you know he must be struggling...

1:03:45 Barth saw me complimenting them for not forcing each other on their beliefs and pulled this shit🤣😭 but at least he apologised right away

Sufjan Stevens once said "what did you learn from the Tillamook burn or the Fourth of July? We're all gonna die." so yeah they better not listen to him and give us a fucking HAPPY ENDING ON THE FORTH OF JULY😤

I had to keep track of all your comments that made me laugh. 1. You- "I'm going to hell" . Me- I'll save you a seat 😆 2. You- "I'm so annoying". Me- no comment 3. You-"sometimes I love murder". Me- again, no comment Not me waiting for the lightbulb to go off for you regarding NAT and TRAB 🤣 I was not a fan of Kongdech in this episode I understand and can sympathize with his hurt at the distance between him and Tanrak, but that does not excuse the things he said to him. I'm still looking for a happy ending but I'm still stressed that it won't be. Anyway I'll be here waiting for your reaction.

58:57 ugh this is so sad. thematically this keeps reminding me of a fic i wrote many years ago actually. the characters in it (ifnt) are in a gay conversion camp in the story and one of them is there for religous reasons and to appease his guilt tripping religous parents. but this situation tan is in is so much more heartbreaking. in Tans mind he's not only risking disapproval from the people he loves, but he's also risking never being able to see his deceased parents again if he doesn't go to heaven? what an awful concept that is. is it weird that i wish i wrote it? srsly though this show has really good writing. I really like it. also kongdech is officially on my shit list! I've been side eyeing him for episodes lol

01:00:53 this music is also really fitting i like it a lot

I don't usually leave comments but I wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your reactions. It feels like I'm watching this with my friends :) If you end up missing Gemini and Fourth after this series ends, you should check out their other series, My Love Mix-Up. It's really cute and lighthearted!

I also can't believe the show already ends this week, I wish we could have gotten more but at the end I prefer a shorter show over one with filler episodes that end up downgrading the impact, so they probably knew what they were doing. I hope we can get a happy ending so badly, exactly what you said I'm also worried about...what if being in the outside world Tanrak realises he prefers returning to the past of priesthood? despite gay marriage having been legalized I don't think it's possible to get ordained and be in a relationship (gay or not) at the same time. I think it would genuinely devastate me...

the emotions from both of them this episode were so raw, the moment Barth thought about his mom I teared up and didn't stop for the rest of the episode, Tanraks fear felt suffocating at times but portrayed so very well. The longing when they were in the storage room was so tangible. I'm looking forward to Barth reuniting with his mother and it's great that we are getting an episode of them existing in another environment, especially Tanrak finally making choices for himself without outside expectations and just getting to explore the world and who he is, since up till now he's only ever followed what he was told. I really hope for the best for both of them together, with Tanrak keeping his own individual relationship to God and his faith. On one hand the continuous presence of religious symbols in the shots when Barth and Tanrak or just Tanrak are by themselves shows how they are always under surveillance and cant escape the pressure and limits of being gay within an organised religion, but at the same time I like the thought that maybe it also shows, that even when Tanrak feels so alone, God is still there and hasn't left him. Personally I am an atheist but I'd like it (and am sure thats what the show is trying to show as well) if he ends up being able to keep both his homosexuality and his faith as impactful parts to his identity. I could really see him work in another field with children/where he helps people, as he's been shown to be so kind. I honestly think it suits him better to work directly with kids than just preach, as Barth said in ep 2, he's too kind and not scary enough, I don't see him in such a lonely role thats placed above others. And for Barth I just want him to be loved and live fearlessly, he's been through a lot but he already seems quite confident and able to pursue his happiness.
