Oh, that was so sad! But like you said, there are a lot of good lessons to we learned about life being short, and if there’s things we need to say or do, we need to do them! I think they’re being very creative, though we’re not even halfway through!

He should bring his body to the manhole in every present timeline so he can travel to the past, but if he is in the past timeline his body will return back to the present time without needing his body to be brought near the manhole. That's probably the reason why in this timeline he needed his body to be brought to the manhole
