Its Teddy's Label (Blackpink's producer) and his is under YG so technically it belong to YG, very typical YG sound, yeh people saying they rushed the comeback to cover up all the dramas been going on, there is not much choreo to the song, and she need better outfits.

btw Johan i know there is tons of Loona contents and other mv you still haven't react on, but Loona's cousin group OnlyOneOf is a must listen, PD broke his golden rude he brought their physical album after their debut which he never done it in the past, they have 2 mv and bside is already on YouTube, i gotta say Jaden is the man he really know how to make good music, their song is very R&B chill no hardcore beat drops and very nice vocals, their Leader is the guy in ViVi's MV, looks totally different compared back then,

Jesus her stage presence is no joke, she even makes this song work. I like the live stage a lot more than the MV. The song i didn't like initially and whilst I like it now, I wouldn't call it a great song. The chorus drop just....doesn't work. But I love the playful verses. Please work with some other producers, Somi

So true!!!!!! She’s so charismatic in a very youthful playful way, the song has grown on me as well, but... yeah. The producer really bothers me. I’m excited to see what else she does, I hope she can work with someone else, as you said 💕

i completely understand why she was nervous, i'm so impressed that she still performed at the level she did and the nervousness seemed to fade pretty quickly. she was smiling and enjoying herself during the performance, it was so nice to see! she could hear the loud fanchants haha. and i still think she has grown so much, i remember how much she used to doubt herself and second guess herself in the past, being nervous even while in a group, atleast on sister slam dunk. she really impressed me with this debut, i wish her all the best. AND YES, OUR BABY IS SO YOUNG 💕💕💕

Hi Johan... I feel the same as you do. I support Somi herself ❤ ,not necessarily that organization. Regarding "Out of my Head", there seems to be some familiar structures and massaged chord progressions in the composition. Take a listen to LOONA's Odd Eye Circle - "Starlight". Just an opinion 😐 I would have expected more out of "genius Teddy" for the amount of time Somi was with Black Label. I really hope she can really excel on her career in the future. I also support Somi, (even though I hate YG) , whether her debut was rush or not I'm so happy she finally debuted with a song that feels very her. Let's hope she gets comebacks and stuff because you know this label 😑

I really liked ioi. So naturally I was waiting for this debut. I understand the struggle as you know Johan. I'm still in boycott for ne its the right thing to hopefully make the company come clean. But I wanted to hear Somi and watched with you. God this was going to be so long. When I first heard the start and see her I thought IOI vibes with fashion and the talk rap on the deeper timbre was so good. Then it changed and I was lost. The doing musically made no sense to me. It was very ill fitting. I can see they wanted to present fun quirky side of Somi but the song was a mess. Not Somi the composition and writing was either rushed or not through composed. I loved the start and I think that vibe a fun but serious style not quite girl crush would have been good. I really wanted to like this... I had to listen because it bothered me so much. 10 listens later I understand why it had a confusing and I'll fitting effect. Somi has quite a thin vocal timbre light. The instrumentation was minimal and there was no support for her vocal line. The top line her vocal needed either supporting vocal ones, layers to give the song some weight and depth. Think of d1 or eclipse.. For example. Or the instrumentation should have been layered more to provide support for Somi. The harmony at times sounded as if it was from another song. There were parts I liked but others I just couldn't listen to. I know what Teddy was doing sort of. The style if song is specific west coast US. CA, LA. Sparse almost acoustic sound with a light vocal. But why choose this for Somi?? I'm sorry but I just can't. The b track is much better, i like it. I feel bad saying this but I can't just lie. It's not my fault its a poor song. Teddy or yg rushed it. God knows why.

i really did expect more, as well. the song starts really nicely with her rap verse and even though the chorus is catchy and gets stuck in your head it's more in an annoying way, lol. thank you for watching and for your kind words, i appreciate you all so much as well!!! 💕💕💕

i agree with everything you think, haha. the song starts out really well with her low tone in the rap verse, but as ive said in a previous response the chorus is really catchy but more in an annoying way haha. the song as a whole doesn't really fit together, it's like oil and water or something. and we know it's possible to make songs with very different genres and weird mixes still work, like i got a boy & zimzalabim for example, but maybe its because this one is rushed.. ill take your words for it, you're the musical expert! maybe you should take over YG instead, lol. i support it!!! 💕💕💕

Thank you Johan. Haha take over YG. I would live to run a company, but maybe not that company lol. Now BBC we are talking!!!. I'm glad you can see it. I could see you could hear the dissonance in the song. Def no hate for Somi. I really hope they or someone gives her a song she truly deserves😊 I'm actually angry for her. maybe the changes which will happen at both yg and black label will encourage less laziness and increased creativity. Teddy and the company YG have rested on long distant successes for too long.
