ugh I agree so much about the performance director of the boyz when he made that comment about eric and taemin; Is appreciating another artist only limited to the opposite gender?? so stupid The one you said looked a little like Taemin was Haknyeon (pronounced hang-nyeon) and who sounded a little like Taemin is Hyunjae, but he also has blond hair so its kinda hard to distinguish him from Eric during the performance probably. The one who looked a little like Jin is Younghoon, and yes! Q and Juyeon are the main dancers! Honestly the amount of stunts they did was so impressive, but the most impressive was that the whole performance was a cohesive story with the right amount of tension, just so good. That Pentagon performance of Shine is such a tearjerker its so sadddd truly an ode to each other! I am not that into Pentagon but it definitely made me cry lmao About their performance of Very Good; I am also not a big fan of those concepts, but I think the biggest problem with that stage in particular was that the tension levels were high from start to finish and because there was never any fluctuating/push-and-pull effect, I got used to it and thus it gets a little boring... I think if they did the in your face harshness and then super soft, only to hit you again with power it would have been more interesting? That's just my personal opinion ofc

yeah what he said really rubbed me the wrong way. the toxic masculinity is strong in that one and i'm just allergic to that kind of stuff, it's just really sexist and homophobic to me. OHHH IT WAS HYUNJAE THAT SOUNDED LIKE TAEMIN? DAMNNN he totally channeled his sound!!! YOUNGHOON i will try to remember!! thank you so much for answering all my questions!! 100% agree with your opinion on Pentagon's performance of Very Good - if they would have played with the "energy levels" more it really could have added to the whole performance, it was just a little too much. but it was still good, they killed it! just kind of exhausting almost hahah thank you so much for leaving your comments, i'm so glad you're enjoying my reactions to this show yaaay! hopefully i will finish before kingdom starts yay 💙✨💙
