Thank you so much for doing a full reaction Johan! I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and to be honest, you love his music for the same exact reasons I do! The amount of vulnerability and sensitivity he displays in his music is just honestly incredibly refreshing and admirable. These are the sorts of songs where I feel the most connected to, and I realize that music for me is a way to connect to more extreme emotions/memories safely, as a way of catharsis. I also really vibed with the more "experimental" tracks he did for the intro and outro, so I wish they were both longer too! In particular, I really do relate to "No Silhouette", with the lyrics "I lost myself under the sun, I got too close and now I'm burning". Of course, this could be taken many different ways. It can follow the line of the other songs and be discussing his toxic relationship and how things ended (getting too close to the sun would be loving someone too strongly and chaotically, and burning would be the relationship falling apart), or it could be referring to trying too hard to "appear" a certain way and masking your mental illness. At some point, for people who try to appear "normal" to society, you try too hard and you lose yourself - in the end you don't know what's really you or what's the façade you built for yourself to interact with others. Either way I could talk WAY too long about this album. Thank you thank you thank you for the lovely presents and I am so happy you enjoyed it! (BTW it might be too cold where you're at right now and that's why the cover isn't reacting, but you should be able to put it under Cookie while sleeping and get a Cookie print or something lol!)
