Ohhhhhh my god YES johan! Thank you! Can’t wait to watch!

Stefan

The big break between the two albums is actually because of his military service. He enlisted right after releasing the Repackage with "I Wanna Be" as title track. And you're right, every song up to Imagine was from the first album. Also, you recognized "Helium" because it was the song in the "Mood Sampler" teaser for Bad Love!

Kiki

Yes Key is the lead dancer in SHINee! I think his dancing ability goes unappreciated sometimes so I’m so glad you got to see him shine (no pun intended) in these stages! “Imagine” is from FACE and it’s also a fan song! His fans are called “little freaks” (he named us and it’s absolutely inspired by Gaga’s fandom name) so the costumes for the Saturday Night stage are so cute because they all say “luv little freaks” on the back. He also has a huge part in styling all of his stage outfits and MV looks as well as the stage outfits for SHINee! AND he has a heavy hand in the conceptual design, visuals, and art direction for his solo albums as well. Key is sooo talented and I honestly think criminally underrated! I hope you react to Gasoline when it come out at the end of the month! 🤗🌸

Stefan

Regarding that encore performance: afaik no one expected Key to win that day (including Key himself), so most of the staff and the dancers already left and he had to be on stage on his own. But it's a shame really, Bad Love should've won much more than just that one time, it's so good! Key himself once called it "the song of his life" 😁

Kiki

As far as the live vocals go I’m sorry since I’m not sure how familiar you are with Shinee but they’re the kings of live vocals. Historically a majority of their performances are with live vocals even when they’re doing intense and difficult choreo. They were trained to perform live and used to practice singing while running on treadmills to develop their breath control and stamina lmao! So although he didn’t sing live on many of his solo stages he’s definitely capable of it and has incredible control in general- as does all of SHINee! If you ever check out Onew (the leader of SHINee) he had a solo song this year called DICE and he actually does sing live at nearly every music show while dancing. 🤗

Thank you again johan 💕 what a nice pick me up in the middle of my day. My favorite thing was that throughout this reaction I can see you realizing that over time key got to really showcase himself. His b-sides off his first full album (good good, chemicals, imagine, honest) are more indicative of his actual tastes — synthwave, electro, 80s rock — than the title track that SM gave him to share with another guy. But by bad love era, after he’s back from military service, he is CONFIDENT and secure enough to fight for his vision and concepts and fashion. Like we can both SEE how the stuff bad love era is just on another level….and he’s so happy to be performing it, you can just tell!! I’m so proud of him for sticking to his guns. Gasoline’s teaser images and stuff also look straight out of key’s mind and while the title track I think is going to sound a bit SM-y it’s still really good and I cannot waittttt for the b-sides. This will be his second full length album with bad love being a mini album. I hope I can request soon some other b-sides you haven’t heard fully, like the entirely of imagine and eighteen! Also I fucking love helium, it was giving lady gaga queer pink fabulous alien and I loved it. Thank you!!!!

ahhh im really into this mega reaction!! (and the original on youtube!) i've loved 'i wanna be' for a long time, and 'bad love' has been THAT song since it came out (i love 80s style songs and this one feels so authentic to that genre), but hearing the others and seeing all these stages has been so great! yesss you need to see him on show!terview!! he's so sassy and fun (and i know he's on a few variety shows with seungkwan from svt, and their chemistry? variety kings!!)

Ohye bby, ofc it's SM. He's KEY of SHINEE, ofc his live vocals are amazing. I even think he's pulling the mic away so often when lipsyncing out of pure defiance.

Thank you so much for reacting to Key- I signed up just for this. My favourites are Chemistry, Imagine and Helium. His Japanese mini album is great too. All Keys albums, live performances and variety contents are amazing- they won’t disappoint. Looking forward to more Key, SHINee and the members solo content.

Thank you. Always down to watch one of your reactions even if I am not a fan of the group or artist. He is pretty good, so thank you for sharing this..
