I think if you watch the first video you will understand the beginning of this video more. For the King Kong dad joke, if the king falls over then it makes a “Kong” sound. So they become King “Kong” when they fall, which is also a play on word bc the character King Kong also fell.

Here's a brief explanation of the setup for this episode based on the very basic knowledge I have of this topic: In South Korea, when a couple are ready to get married, they will set up a formal meeting with their families before proceeding with the wedding. It's for the families to meet each other and their future in-laws. They will usually ask questions to learn about the future in-law and basically see if they (and their family) are a good fit for the one getting married and their family. Usually, it's at a really nice restaurant, like the one in the episode. As for the "Rejected at First Sight" expression. This means that in a pre-wedding formal family meeting, the future in-law would get rejected immediately just because of their looks and/or aura/presence. San used to be called the "rejected at first sight" idol because he looked very fierce. I believe this was most prominent from Fireworks through Guerrilla era. Other Ateez members who would be included were Mingi, Seonghwa, Wooyoung, and Jongho, but this was mostly said about San. The opposite is the "Approved at First Sight". Basically, the exact opposite, where the person's looks and aura/presence would be automatically approved. From Ateez that would be Yunho, Yeosang, and Hongjoong. This is what Wooyoung was referring to at the beginning of the video. If I mistakenly said anything wrong, please correct me (kindly) in the comments 😊

this video was so funny and i'm glad you were able to watch it! it's from woosan's recently created youtube channel (which the very first vid gives you an idea of what's supposed to be happening) so they'll be dropping episodes every other week! https://www.youtube.com/@9%ED%8A%B8%EC%AB%91 they also basically had a goal to hit 500K views on the vids or else the channel will fail, but as of me writing this, the ep you just watched is over 1M and the pilot vid is almost at 900K also fun fact: some ATINY chatted with Chase Infiniti at Lollapalooza recently and she was like, 'I can't believe they hit the 500K already!' so i love that she's watching and cheering alongside every other ATINY out there
