As a parent myself, my pov: it’s only the parents of the bad ass kids who don't want the erpb. They know their kids are bad but ain’t doing shit about it. I agree teachers should not just be able to beat up on the kids however they do need some type of skills 👀to handle badass kids and YES some kids need an ass whooping from their parents. Not abuse, just set them straight. I never disrespected my teacher because I respected my parents I knew I was gonna get my ass beat or be on punishment if I was disrespectful to ANY adult really. That "gentle parenting" shit don't work!

I grew up in a really really poor area and my primary school just dgaf about the kids. The teachers bullied the kids who came from the worst home life more. It was so traumatizing that honestly...I wish something like this would have happened to them. Its the reason I work as an art therapist in schools.
