I love being able to see this half of the reaction - LOOOOVE this song and it’s meaning/imagery. I’m glad you wanted to know more about what the lyrics were (not surprised tho), because these are deep. Chan wrote this song based on his own thoughts and personal experiences, and he wanted to share them with us in case there were people out there that felt or struggled the same 🥹❤️‍🩹 unfortunately their Japanese channel and Japanese releases literally NEVER have subs? I really don’t know why, it’s been like that for years. But stays are always quick to translate them and share them on twitter or YouTube for everyone 😊

I feel like the song is such a uplifting, defeating a boss style song is 100% because of LisA, who has songs that are the opening of many anime. Her voice is so distinct and great at that style of music. Also, anyone else notice how this song had two verses of Japanese, and then the rest was in English? Looks like they needed a minimum amount of Japanese to make this a separate Japanese release.

The "gave up my youth for my future" hits even more when you think about how Chan literally left the only home he knew at the age THIRTEEN. Then spent eight years watching his friends debut ahead of him wondering if his chance would ever come. But he kept working and never quit. Now look at all he has accomplished. I could literally cry.
