YES , THE MOMENT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR !! Love the set up Nigel . ALSO , the main character “Arisu” is Alice in the Japanese pronunciation , so it’s basically “Arisu In Borderland” . One more thing , Kento Yamazaki (Arisu) gets compared to LeeKnow a lot . ❤️😎

Tkia White

I watched all of us are dead when your first dropped them so I am okay with not seeing them again but I am glad that I get to watch a new show with you. I have never seen this. I voted for something new so this is going to be a treat.

Icko

i just finished this show 2 months ago, you dont understand how happy i am nigel is watching it😭🙏

Emily Cortes

If you haven't figured it out yet, this is an absolutely amazingly creative show playing off the story of Alice in Wonderland. Arisu (sounds like Alice in Japanese), you'll soon meet characters like "Chishiya" as in the Cheshire cat and "Kuina" as in the Queen. This show is so amazing and yes it's an interpretation on Alice in Wonderland.

Bianca

Never watched the show nor knew wth it was gonna be about, but now that I started this with you damn I found this show really interesting. Exited for the next episode!!!

Tatiana

The lights!!! Nigel now you know after putting all them holes in the wall from your tv that you don’t need to be drilling anymore 😂😂 I love this show so it’s so creative and have you on your toes the whole time.

Tatiana
>>128766696

Omg I kept looking at arisu like who do you remind me of 😭

zay

this is my favorite show! i can't wait for you to see the next episode

AshicallyMe

It took a bit for me to get into. Wasn't feeling the beginning but as soon as they left the restroom, I was HOOKED. Kind of reminds me of Battle Royale, which is like the OG for this theme, IMO ♥ Now I'm like SUPER excited for ep2!

Liyah

I don’t mind rewatching this a 4th time w/ you lmao … ready for the introduction of my man chishiya next ep 🤭

Ericka

Your lights remind me of Jerry from the movie Soul by Pixar

Kazandra Brock

YAY!!!!!! I’m so excited for you to watch this!! Glad you enjoyed the first episode!!!

Reejy

💙🥶💙

Jazz Campbell

I’ve been putting off watching this but now I’m definitely going to

Emily Cortes

I apologize. I didn't know if he realized this was loosely based on Alice in Wonderland. I know it took me so long to realize that "Arisu" meant Alice, "Chishiya" meant Cheshire cat and "Kuina" meant the queen. I wasn't smart enough to figure that out at the beginning so I thought it would make the show more intriguing and meaningful if a newbie knew ahead of time bcuz it would've made the show ten times better if I knew before I watched it. I'm genuinely sorry if I disappointed you or Nigel. I truly didn't mean to spoil or disappoint anyone.

misha

the way i SQUEALED when i saw this notif?!?!

misha
>>128779884

i forgot how slow this starts though…… like its a good start but its a START - I CANT FREAKIN WAIT TILL THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!!! i dare u to watch that one with ur lights off 🤗 (binged this series in my basement …at night time….. holy shit AHHAHAHAH) ANYWAYS IM HAPPY TO HEAR UR EXITED ABOUT THIS IS REALLY JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER :D also, this would be maybe my third time watching it hehe

misha

Kayla
>>128789580

Is that the main character that was super smart? I was thinking he look like Lee Know the WHOLE time!!!

Zz23

AHHH im so excited to re watch this!! I love this show :)

Mamabear0T8

I watched the eng dubbed version. I don't like reading 🤣

SxxshAxtl_

Nigel I would suggest you watch it in English subs Vs English cc, bcs the English subs directly translate what's said while the Cc is the one the dubbed version uses so it might not be accurate

dibuyan

Not lee know's japanese version hahaha- yo I love kento yamazaki, he is a great actor~ so excited for ep 2!

Morgan

I keep meaning to watch Alice in borderland but I keep forgetting to watch it so I’m glad I can start it with you 😭🫶🏽

Ashe Miller

The reason it’s called “Alice In Borderland” is because all of the characters are a rip off of the characters in “Alice In Wonderland”. You guess who’s who though. I’m not going to say shit.

madi
>>128784305

me too! i’m not sure why i never got through it but i’m gonna hold off watching it so i can see it with nigel too

Deeznuz

PLEASE DO MY DEMON DAWG THAT SHIT IS SO GOOD OMM👍🏿🙏🏿

Eli

Bro I can’t get my eyes off of ur new set up ITS AMAZING

Delilah Rivera

YES! ALICE IN BORDERLAND!!! Bruh, you haven't seen nothing yet! The games are no joke. I have binged watch S and S2 three times.

Swelix

I click when I saw a new decorated wall , It’s amazing

Swelix

Arisu looks like Lee know 🔥

Swelix

I just come to see the background but end up watching the whole ep with you 😂

Riiiah

27:05 no it’s actually a built set of Tokyo, but the distance is cgi!

FroggyMuds
>>128778833

Did u ever watch season 2? It's amazing in my opinion. I loveeee this show. The glory is kinda hard for me so I never finished it

FroggyMuds

This is probably one of my favorite dramas of all time!!! I love it so much!!

FroggyMuds

Btw, English CC is the subtitles of the English dub, so it's not entirely accurate. English Subtitles is the direct translation of the Japanese. For future reference!

Liah

Ep 2 please today

Jaselle🫧🪼

Dose anyone know when he’s going to post ep 2 I don’t really know the schedule

aeraaa

Wait Nigel, you questioned where the name is from right? Alice in Wonderland? Have you never watched it! Oh by the way, yes they made buildings and did film in some city parts though.

Kaitlyn

it is my first time watching and I loved it! it was fun watching with you :)

amberXella

LOVE HOW THE ROOM IS COMING ALONG!!!

amberXella

18:56 you actually scared the shi out of me Nigel uijyhegtvrcnyjhbtgvrfe i ain't laughing

amberXella

IM SO EXITED FOR THE REST OF THE EPISODES!!!

Cat Enigma

Is my first time watching it, it slaps lol

Con Wunder

The brothers sounds like the big hero 6 brothers. He just forgot his family tho

TeAnna

I’ve only seen the first two episodes but I’m ready to see what happens during the season!

chanscurlyhair

Idk if you know but you have “english (cc)” captions on instead of just the english captions, like another person on here said, that’s a direct translation from the english dubbed, but it also includes subtitles of sounds like breathing or music. if you want just what they’re saying then that would be only the english subs. I loved this reaction i’ve been waiting so long for it😊<3

Fallon Tsui

I’m so glad that you are reacting to this! I have already seen it and it’s great! I’m enjoying rewatching it with you and can’t wait for the next episode!

Beelinos

I cannot unsee Lee Know whenever I see Kento 😭

kelskiiz

OOOOOOOHHHHHH NIGEL I’M EXCITED THIS IS GONNA BE SO FUN

Vee_2194

This is my first watching this also I can’t in see the shibiya incident ( where my jjk fans at) 😭

Rosi Georgieva

It’s called Alice in Borderland because it’s kinda like a different world that they are in right now,and this netflix show is based on the manga “alice in borderland”.Alsooo,if you pick on the small details of this show, you’ll realize that the main lead is “Arisu”,his Japanese name, which literarly translates to “Alice” in english☺️☺️☺️🥰

Tanya

I saw on one of your YouTube videos that you were watching this series so I had to subscribe because I love you commentary so much and this is my fav series 😆

Dakota Ingram

"In Japanese, Jesus is..." Siri don't fuck wit you Nigel

Tonya Jones

I saw on one of your videos that you were watching so i begged my mom to get me a patreon

léna

I’m starting this with you yay!! 🫶🏻 I already watched it on my own but yeah 😅

Rengirl18

This is my first time watching. I started watching the first episode on my own and said I’m going to screw it I’m gonna watch it with Nigel. It will make it more interesting to have some commentary. 😂
