Whatever let's get into it. Yea. I've said before that after watching Kingdom like 7 times i think it's one could've easily won that. But i cannot wait for you to experience the magnificence that is mayfly's vocal unit. Hands down my fave Seungmin performance. NIGEL I ALREADY TOLD YOU THIS! I NEED THE NOISE OF THE FAN. IDK IF ITS 20 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND I HAVE THE HEAT ON...THAT FAN WILL BE ON AS WELL! your little dance for the vocal unit was cute as shit. Baby you gotta stop watching the spoilers in the beginning. Chan was very proud of Lee Know's speaking. Nah vocal mayfly did destroy the others. C'mon before i fart?! I ain't never heard that before 😹😹. Lee Know was so shook dude. His little "WHOA" was precious. AND THEN YOUR FACE NIGEL 😂🤣😂 Not Peniel won the round by singing 😹. NOOOOO NIGEL DONT SWING! Bcuz your poor SKZOO's seem to get the brunt of your anger. INSEONG IS BABY AND I ADORE HIM. From this group Inseong, jaeyoon and jinhwan are my babies. They are so ridiculously precious and awkward and they just make my heart flutter. Everyone on this team has a great voice. But i LOVE ju-ne's husky voice. And New is amazing. They are just really awkward Nigel. Even tho they gel well they just have awkward people. Not you telling them to chill out. I love that you corrected yourself "Stray Kids" Kingdom Legendary War 🤣. Not the shakey breath Nigel. Nigel, you got to remember that it originally aired with commercial breaks. So when it cuts off and then restarts in the same spot it's because there was a commercial break there. The way your face changed when viki messed up during the performance was funny. Its okay Nigel we have Seungmin. This part breaks my heart. 😿 This group is just outstanding. Eunkwang is such a dork and i love it. And Jongho has PIPES!!! I ain't never heard of IU until this show. Seungmin is a great singer. Hold up Nigel, that to hold you in my arms was NICE! Nigel, Valerie is your warm up song? You took me out with the way you was singing it. Seungmin was so nervous. YOU AINT READY NIGEL!!! Chills Nigel. Chills during the entire performance. The way i am in tears for the 50-11th time. I just...ooo. they blow me away every time. You can see on the other team's face that they knew they lost. Jinhwan was so real for that. Look at how tiny jinhwan is 🤗. You really weren't expecting mayfly to sweep it. But we did that. And here is where i sob. I got so attached to Inseong and it genuinely breaks my heart to see him cry. I really hope they showed Inseong what the others said about him. How much they enjoyed working together. Not Han got a couch on his head 😹🤣. Yea, its not for everyone. Their beats do be slapping so hard tho. I meant to ask but after you catch up in Stray Kids discography are you gonna listen to 3racha's discography? It not a lot but they are pretty amazing. Imma fight you! Not "is this encanto!! Are they discovering their power?" 😂 As soon as you say "I'm not gonna lie" i know you didn't like it. They didn't say it out loud Nigel, you did. Are you doing that VPN thing that people mentioned? When you fix the issue try rewatching iKons performance in full. Anyway it was fun hanging with you but I gotta take my butt to bed. Mayfly vocal team is iconic and my favorite Seungmin vocal performance ever. BYE NIGEL 👋🏾

Merenwene

Yeah, my fan is on. 🤣

Kas

Honestly love poem is the best performance of kingdom. It was so breathtaking. I go back to watch this performance so often 😭

rua

fun fact lisa and bangchan are good friends

caaalli

I SOBBED THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED THE LOVE POEM PERFORMANCE, it was the first time I ever cried because someone's singing was so fcking good

Ny

Jongho from Ateez has a leemujin service i really think you would love it

🦔

PLEASE PART 2 PLEASE😭😭

Del Tenório

Not nigel getting right were seungmin’s name was on eunkwang’s notes 😂 Oh, my bad! I forgot he lived in seoul lol

Rawan

No I feel like you need to watch ikon performance again and thank you for your reaction 🤍🤍🤍

Liannie

Idk if someone’s already suggested this before or not, but if the performances keep freezing, you could always watch the full performances on YouTube. The official “Mnet K-POP” channel has all the performances uploaded in good quality. It might be good to try out, just pausing the episode and then watching the performances uninterrupted on YT. You could also have them preloaded, you just have to look up “[group name] kingdom performance ep8/9” on YT and the performance will come up. For example, the skz one would be “skz kingdom performance ep8”. etc etc. Just a suggestion since I know you’ve been struggling with the freezing a lot since Viki sucks, hope it helps if you end up trying it out

Torn

The amazing singer Nigel 👏

Britt Bratt

Yeah IU got one less song in her discography lol

Rosi Georgieva

53:57 Nigel how do u know me so well?😂😂😂

Melissa S

Nigel, you can watch the full version of kingdom on mnet. Go to you tube, type in mnet kingdom in the search. It has everything. You will have to search through the episodes to find what you’re looking for but it’s worth it. You will see so much more of their interactions and practices. It’s very cool. And since it’s you tube you won’t have the same problems.

Liyah

There’s two website recommendations I got for you w/ A BUNCH of skz content one is https://skzfliix.carrd.co/ which is like a fanmade Netflix almost w/ a links to a bunch of the guy’s content… the other one is https://strayksubs.com/ which is also fan made but it’s a group of ppl from the fandom that works together to add subtitles to the content… both have kingdom links/videos bc obviously viki just taking your money for no reason 😭😭

Tiffany Bennett

Niggy what the hell is you doing to viki I don't never have glitches lol

Emilee Bert

I don't know if this will help but when Viki lags or freezes so does your face cam.

Danielle Muniz

I obviously LOVE Mayfly and I am familiar with all the teams there, but gotta say, It's One dance team was a little robbed....it just felt like they showed something a little different from what is expected of kpop and idk maybe as a past dancer I just got excited with the lyrical/contemporary elements but 🤷🏽‍♀️

AzzyAzz

Nigel JYP Stray Kids Itzy and NMIXX made a song called like magic you’ve got to listen to it

AzzyAzz
>>130249791

Also IU came out with a song called Shopper and DPR IAN is in the mv also you should listen to DPR IAN

Minnie’s Puppy

you can check strayksubs website they have everything fully subbed

Teresa Sam

Love Poem, my favorite performance!

blulaya

love poem changed my life honestly 😂🫶🏽 if you want to hear more of jongho’s voice , listen to ‘everything’ from ateez latest album !! his voice is AMAZING

Lindsey Lowman

Nigel, your singing made me remember why you are a visual 😜

WooStayTiny

When i watched this years ago, I remember loving Ju-ne's voice and thinking uh oh. He really stood out to me! Him and Jongho of course! (besides our beloved puppy).

Emily Nelson

I’m a stay and atiny til I die but I still think the other group should have won the dance round 😪

Kacey Miller

As far as Blackpink lyrical content… most of their title tracks don’t have much. But I don’t listen to any of those when I want to feel anything but hype. I just get a little tired of the songs sounding so similar. But that’s not on them, it’s on their company. I hope they do better without YG. Anyways, we can’t hate on ikon picking blackpink, because Stray Kids love Blackpink. Chan is friends with Lisa, and they’ve covered at least two of their songs.

Kacey Miller
>>130254781

I think it comes down to personal preference. I prefer Mayfly because I felt the chemistry was better and their choreos had way more interconnectivity.

mattie

love you nigel th

Mié

I feel in love with seungmin here

Mysticpaw

The StrayKSubs website has all of the episodes and you don’t have to pay for it. I highly recommend watching the rest of the episodes on there

Kaylee
>>130249791

like magic is being boycotted due to it being sponsored by coca cola 🫶 also it's really... not good... jyp messed that beat up so bad 😭

Shellsey

I remember reading somewhere that Seungmin, Eunkwang and Jongho were all singing this song with such passion and love for one of their members. During Kingdom each of their teams had one member that was either missing or on a hiatus. Not really missing but unable to perform with their members. That being Seungmin singing for Hyunjin, Jongho for Mingi from Ateez and Eunkwang for ilhoon of BTOB. If you read the lyrics it fits perfectly with them saying that they will still be there for them during their hard time of being alone. It is also said to be one of Hyunjin’s favorite songs. I wonder how Hyunjin would have felt watching this live. He always says Seungmin is HIS singer. This was HIS singer singing for him!

WooStayTiny

I'm not going to say how old I am, but for you to say that I'm "seasoned" instead of old, just made my day!! LOL Thanks Nigel!

Krystal

I have a suggestion... I don't know, it always seems to really glitch on the performances. You can watch the performances ( with the 6 groups reacting like on the show) on YouTube. They have like the version of reactions.. and they have the straight up performances without interruptions on there. Maybe watch Viki until they perform and switch to YouTube for a sec, then go back ? Just thought I would let you know and have another option =)

WooStayTiny

Seungmin in the closet trying to spend time in "self reflection" and basically falling out of it will never not be funny!!!!!!

Vanessa D

I watch Love Poem almost every single night before bed and I still got just as excited for you to see it as I did the first time I watched. That is the most beautiful performance I have ever seen, without a doubt.

Kaylee

Nigel please just pause the episodes and watch the performances on YouTube 😭

Shay Tee

Bless you Nigel. Thanks for your hard work!! 🙏 💚

Lana

Please nigel react to ateez I would probally die from happiness they mean my world just after bts they are so talented, humble, great looking and just good at everything

Lana
>>130264012

Yeah same , I wanted him to react to them for such a long time but when he started watching kingdom I was like oh maybe now is finally time for ateez

Bleu Moon

My heart absolutely shattered for that one sf9 member.. I wanted to give him the biggest hug </3

Raissa Dia
>>130264012

Yes i want too🥺🥺 please Nigel react more to ateez they so talented and i think you love them too

Silje K. Lien

I’m from Norway, and I absolutely love your content🙋🏼‍♀️🩷

iG

that's not how i want u to see lisa entrance FUCK THAT GLITCHING

Michelle Hannaford

I loved the it’s one performance and I really felt for the sf9 member , so heartbreaking but the Mayfly performance was flawless . The combination of all 3 voices blending together really warms my heart, I still get teary watching it. You gotta give it to Ateez they knew what they were doing when they teamed up with Stray kids and BTOB. They had a very specific goal in mind. Not saying they don’t admire and appreciate the other 3 groups because they all have the greatest respect for each other. They got to work with seniors that they are inspired by and a group that is from the same generation as themselves that they have wondered how things work in their group. This whole challenge is my favorite. Will you watch the rest of episode 8 then start episode 9 or just finish episode 8 up. These last few episodes are full of so much great entertainment and outstanding performances. I’m excited Nigel Oh I didn’t get to say where I’m from…… well let’s just say that I have a lot in common with Chris and Felix . Yep I’m an Aussie but I live in Adelaide , South Australia 🇦🇺 Nigel I can not thank you enough for the amazing content you give us , you’re a legend

Jackie

I think strayk subs is the best option

Sally Parker

That Mayfly performance is the one I always come back to. I listen to it probably everyday. It also introduced me to IU, who's discography is flawless. I am obsessed with their rendition of Love Poem. Seungmin really shined.

Sally Parker

I'm watching this in Brisbane, Australia right now btw. Your black ass brings me a lot of laughs and joy :)

Strawbinnii

Love poem is special to me cuz the fact that changbin actually CRIED after he watched seungmin sing 🥹 i really wanted to see hyunjin's reaction so bad cus seungmin is “his singer” (he said this in 2kids room) 🥹😢

Strawbinnii

Totally agree (dance units) “it’s one” had the story line and emotions HOWEVER “mayfly” had the stunts, dance moves, and more dance tricks let’s be real yes it is about story telling ofc but it’s also about dancing hence it’s the dance units and “Mayfly” did their job “it’s one” also did their job but I don’t think “mayfly” was at risk of loosing at any of the competitions 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Panda2105

Nigel… You need to check out the Killing Voice that BTOB did, its similar the First Take that Stray Kids did.. BTOB did the medley of their hits and the vocals from them are ANGELIC.. I think you would really love it!

Ale

Mayfly’s cover of love poem is the only song that has given me goosebumps almost the entire song. I listen to their cover when I’m in need of dopamine.

Ale

Ok sorry I just listened to the part where you said they should have gave them the second performance… I disagree 😭😭 it’s the performance I watch the most. There were so many moving parts and story telling.. it was powerful and so pleasing to watch. I get feeling bad for the other team not winning, but the dance team for may fly killed it👏🏼 I would pay so much money to watch that performance live

_.moogsie_

the way you're about to have a scrap with viki every 2 minutes has me weak asf

_.moogsie_

MAYFLY DEVOURED ALL THEIR PERFORMANCES FRRR

_.moogsie_

THE MOST ICONIC PERFORMACE

_.moogsie_

Seungmins solo part of Love Poem when the camera pans around him gives me goosebumps every time fcvgkbhcfvgbhnjfcgvbh

Mia❣️

The glitches has me weak

Shokojoh Jonh

Nigel Seungmin's voice in modern rock is surprisingly EXTREMELY GOOD. You need to hear his Day 6 covers and his duo with Han on Volcano

TAMI

I'm sure everyone was under pressure, just think about it, they're all singers, on top of that they're competing main vocalists of this amazing multi-talented groups. All of them are amazing. Mayfly killed that performance and it was legendary.

Ava Marie

I Lowkey feel bad for that vocal guy that cried but mayfly ate fr. I hope skz win the kingdom

Lizzy

Welp not me crying during the mayfly performance AGAIN 🤣

ℓєιԃувυց (ℓєι)
>>130279928

IMO , out of all of the performances I think they could’ve given it to Its One because of the storyline and stage . Like WHAT ? Either way it went I wouldn’t have been mad lolz

Ava Marie

LEE KNOW POSTED A NEW SOLO SONG LISSEN TO IT NOWWWE

Duckie Momo

I agree on its one's dance performance 😭 the storytelling was there, it was elegant, it was ART. No doubt mayfly's performance was epic(as they always are) but I felt like it didn't have the same substance as its one. What I had to come to terms with was that kingdom is not a technical challenge, it's a performance challenge. The goal is to use props, stunts and graphics on top of showing skills and making it work/not feel like the circus. That's something the mayfly teams do really well, especially when it comes to dance. I have never been so proud of people I don't know than when I saw love poem for the first time 😭 eunkwang and jongho stay blowing their pipes in their songs regardless of the genre, but seungmin doesn't get to show off like that much. It's not even a question of IF he can, we KNOW he can, it's just so good to see him do it. Like changbin said "you'll do well anyway, I'm not worried" 🥹

Katy

You can watch kingdom on dramacool. Just pre-download the episode so you don't have to deal with the pop-up ads

Sara

its not the same lisa!! this lisa is from Blackpink and social path lisa is a japanese singer

Keri

I haven't watched Kingdom before but I eventually plan to watch along with you at some point. Even if I never watch it though, I had to watch you reaction to the cover of IU's Love Poem. I found that video a year or so ago and have shown it to almost everyone I know. It is STUNNING! I have been waiting for your reaction to it ever since I saw that you were getting into Stray Kids! I am so glad you were as amazed by it as I was. It's a performance I go back to watch a lot. <3

.
>>130297906

Yeah everyone was under pressure, but like he said he felt bad either way.. this kinda sounds like just a “get over it.”

.
>>130279928

Once again, they definitely could have given the dance performance to them because of how detailed it was. Either way this show isn’t really determining anything. Nobody loss anyways. The fact that they’re singers and dancers and rappers in these groups already shows they’re good enough. So even though It’s One didn’t get that performance, regardless they all won in my heart. This show rlly isn’t determining anyone’s skill since they’ve already debuted.

.
>>130275048

Ion think anyone won or lost. It was just a a preference performance like Nigel said. This show determines nothing. Nobody really did better than the other because they are all phenomenal in their groups considering they debuted.

Strawbinnii
>>130275048

Yes ofc they even said that in the show that there are no losers or winners cuz it’s just voting who performed better in that specific genre/pref but they obv are all phenomenal and talented hence they debuted. I was just talking about the dance battle they had, I mean no harm to the other groups I actually Stan all these groups!

Honey Sy

Now that you’ve seen kingdom rewatch that a mama performance

Honey Sy

Remember that mama performance and you were like who are these guys? Kingdom

Journey C

... you were born in 75'????

Bublbun

Could you please react to the original wolf music video by exo? its a cool video and the dance is cool!!!

Micka Ajd

Jung-ho can literally sing (like high note) while breaking apple in half 😭😭

danksyDOODLE

We are 4 mins in... and I feel personally attacked. So what if I have a fan on and I am under a blanket in winter. 😘 Okay... about to watch now. I'm excited 🤗

Makayla Hall

I think if that one guy in It's One didn't strain his voice so much they would have been closer and had a slim chance at winning but I think because he strained it so much they kind of lost that chance. And it definitely wasn't his fault. I don't know much about singing and music but I do know that to hit a note that high is extremely hard especially after singing for as long as he was.

nele

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch the Love Poem performance without crying…it’s so beautiful

Meow Meow

I don't understand why the announcer says that It's One lost by a close margin. 11 to 22, 10 to 23, and 0 to 33 isn't close,

Dandelion

I only connected with Mayfly. It wasn't even a question for me. Having more, and more visuals in a dance, makes a difference. More in a singing performance can only hurt you bc there's more chance for mistakes.

Dandelion

Most of Team It's One didn't even want to be there. Putting the top 3 on one team and the bottom 3 on the other, these results were predictable and the strategy was 👍. Your comment abt It's One being done with it---this was the attitude they came into this with.

Dandelion

Weren't SKZ and Ateez the ònly 2 teams having to perform without all their members?

melis
>>138528438

btob as well, sf9 and the boyz had also issues the only group that was always full: ikon

melis
>>138527922

wasn’t like that at all, they were mistreated a lot there. didn’t get always the infos from mnet so it’s understandable how they felt after some time

Elqueeen44

I feel bad for the one guy..he did his best and the group as a whole sounded great. Mayfly however was just incredible.

Sherri Morgan

I was today years old when I found out that I'm actually almost a full year older than Eunkwang....does that mean I should have the pure lungs like he does?? Brb going to take vocal lessons and find some other '89ers to link up with for a Mayfly inspired performance.

Payton Guillory

Nigel , hear me out, you can’t be saying you ain’t being bias calling out that mistake on his voice being a little strained at that part but when it came to I. N’s part when he kinda strained his voice, you glazed over it . I understand, I love stray kids too but we gotta be fair in any circumstance even if it’s hard ❤️ btw thanks for always trying to be fair

rê 🦋

I'm feeling sad about the dancers of It's One, they deserved to win, but at the same time Mayfly's performance was amazing as well... 🥺

rê 🦋

I just can't stop sobbing to Mayfly's vocals... also I'm so proud of Jongho 😭❤️‍🩹✨️

May

Honestly I loved both vocal performances. Is it just me, or does sangyeon act and look just like chan? His singing is so underrated too, like no one ever talks about it

Aras Paty

Such a beautiful performance by the trio.
