Please consider Lord of the mysteries next I would consider sponsoring, it but I am not sure of the process

There isn't really a process for sponsoring books at the moment, and their future reading plans are mostly set for awhile. They'll be starting Edgedancer next week and most likely following that up with Oathbreaker in a few weeks

Considering how little information we had on Jasnahs order, itwas always 50/50 if she survived, especially when Shallan saw no body when she went back out and we knew she had something to do with Shadesmar.

David Krane

Jasnah's fakeout death doesn't bother me because her absense had emotional impact on other characters and also allowed Shallan to grow as a character. There was a real reason for it - but I get it, combined with Syl and Szeth and the lack of other major character deaths in the book it can feel cheap

David Krane

Also, I think you'll be very happy with the world building, character growth, and plot movement in Oath Bringer - but it has some bad pacing. Just letting you know beforehand.

Sanderson is worried about being accused about fake out deaths, if he's bringing a character back, it'll be pretty soon after the death or at least in the same book. If you're dead at the end of a book, pretty sure you're dead(ish).

I think you're missing a bunch in your analysis here. It's frustrating because when you guys miss something, we're not supposed to go back and point it out. I think I might give bookclub a pass this week - this is going to be a frustrating one.

Yeah, given this take, I'll see you guys in a week for EdgeDancer. I just don't like one sided conversations where I have more information but won't be allowed to present it.
