There is a common misconception that Sogeking is Usopp in disguise. They share a lot of similar characteristics, both being snipers and all, but if you notice Sogeking wears a mask and Usopp doesn't.

In 255, you can actually see the mask in the background when Sanji leaves the last car (he had commented that the only thing the guards had were masks). EDIT: apparently I misremembered... there's a different mask in the suitcase, but it at least does give a reason for Usopp finding a mask on the train.

Seriously. I know it seems obvious, but it is quite silly to be so easily fooled. Sogeking is NOT Usopp.
