The gun that glowed when Percy died is strange because, as Clarus noticed, it’s not the one he was shot with. The explanation given before by Ripley was not too clear on the details but it seems reasonable that the soul would be collected by the gun that fired the killing shot, not just any lying nearby.

I think four barrel gun Percy is wielding at this point was made by Ripley - Percy's original revolver was destroyed to break the connection to the demon (though I might be mixing up the original campaign with the show). But if the show followed the campaign on this point, the reason the gun Percy was using this episode glowed would be that Percy was on Ripley's list, just like Percy's revolver glowed when he killed people on his list.
