Gabra lying about being her brother is canon, all the crayon red riding hood with the wolf are filler😅

Zoro's English VA does indeed talk with something in his mouth when Zoro is using the 3-sword style.

I am a fan of the condensed Patreon posts. Thank you, sir. Now, I will continue my campaign of peer pressuring you to watch Golden Kamuy. If peer pressure doesn't work, I can be convinced to resort to bribery...

The Zoro v. Kaku fight is absolutely LOADED with puns. It's glorious. And I'm not fully fluent in Japanese, so there are probably even more that I'm not catching.

Oh, skipping the recaps is great. The only thing is you might want to have a mod or trusted friend let you know the episodes and times to start at later on. There will be episodes in the future where we get new content before the title cards.

I also love Rocky Horror references.

Okay, so since no one has come in to mention this, let me just go over a few of the absolutely wild puns that go into _Jabra_'s moveset. He has a specific way that he speaks that takes advantage of the way that many sentences in Japanese end with _darō_, which kind of means "probably." But sometimes there is an extra particle that's added onto the end, _ga_, which makes it seem more direct. So when _Jabra_ talks, wherever he would normally say _darō ga_ to mean "probably," he instead says _da rōga_, with _rōga_ meaning "wolf fang." He works the concept of his wolf form into his regular speech patterns. The 'banana stance' one is actually just a weird amalgamation of the first character of "wolf fang" and the first character of "banana," so _rōba_, where he combines iron body with shave to move at extreme speeds while maintaining relative impermeability. Or, yeah. So people aren't quite sure what the actual pun is that's being made here, but it could possibly be a pun on the term _rōba_, which is another way of saying "old woman." The one that he does right after that, from that stance, is probably one of my favorite little small bits of wordplay that _Oda_ uses over the entire series, where he jumps all around _Sanji_ and attacks at high speed from multiple angles. And he calls it _rōkāru area network_. So that would literally mean "wolf hunting area network," but it also, when interpreted as English, is a pun on the phrase "local area network." I'll be back for the Kaku fight, because *holy hell*, that one is HEAVY with puns. The funny thing is, sometimes Oda uses puns for fun, but sometimes he uses them for foreshadowing, of which only those with a decent understanding of both Japanese and English as well as some of the culture can truly appreciate without some assistance.

Just finished the reaction. I did tell you before... Gear 2 will make pretty much perfect sense. Gear 3... will make 'One Piece sense', but the other two abilities are only going to make sense if you're paying insanely close attention and realize that, when it comes to the main power system of this world, Devil Fruits are a bit of a red herring. Again, I've mentioned this before, but if Devil Fruits were the only way to compete at the upper echelons of power in the One Piece world, they would be even more prevalent amongst pirates, marines, and anyone strong. At that point, One Piece would start looking a bit more like My Hero Academia in terms of power systems, where quirks and how you use them are everything. We don't see that, however. There are plenty of characters who believe they are strong while also having knowledge of Devil Fruits and the Grand Line, and they wouldn't be so sure of themselves if there wasn't 'something more'. Long story short, yeah, Diable Jambe seems random as hell, regardless of how well it fits him thematically. The next few big power reveals will seem random or like asspulls, but I PROMISE they are just more worldbuilding, preparing you for later stuff.

Starting later was a great call!

It's great that you skip to the title. Just make sure the recap stops right before the title and not earlier (it's not always the same).
