Wasn't it Lord of the Rings that said all dwarves had beards even the women? Or was that another series?

In LOTR:The Two Towers(movie) Gimli tells Eowyn that dwarf women are so like in appearance to dwarf men, it has given rise to a belief that there are no dwarf women. Eowyn looks at Aragorn and he whispers while gesturing at his face that it's the beards. Meaning the biggest difference is that men have them and women don't.

If you look carefully, hard on your little screen there, but Disa has some fine haired mutton chops. Pretty subtle though.

Definitely a much better episode, I still think they're laying it on too thick with the Galadriel being a warrior, the fact it's her only character trait just lessens her in my opinion. Elrond far more interesting so far. Hoping the wizard is one of the blues but wouldn't be surprised if it's Gandalf the constellation he draws is almost exactly the ruin Gandalf uses to sign his name, throw the connection to the Harfoots(still hate the Irish accents) on top of that and it feels very Gandalf or at least they definitely want you to think that. Pretty sure it's Mithril in the chest the king shows Durin as it's the wrong mountain for the Arkenstone. Would be cool if the kid with Sauron's sword was to become the witch king. Halbrand looking like the most likely to be Sauron for me so far. Bring on episode 3
