Let’s go!

I like that you are starting to grasp why Erwins plans were how they were. Its interesting to hear Nerdys thoughts on it because it does make sense. Before Nerdy was seeing Erwins plans through his lenses with an already abundant amount of info on war and strategie (either through history or movies, entertainment etc.) Something Erwin and the scouts were just figuring out for the first time at that point. The eldians in Paradis have no recollection past 100 years meaning the concepts of war and leadership strategie are foreign concepts to them. Im glad Nerdy brought this up. It gives me a lot more respect for his view points in previous seasons. This was great!

Mysthe

Sasha's dad is the best character in the whole series. :)

Erwin’s unconventional plans were more of a reaction to years of failure. Also a lack of intel on the enemy. You have to do with what you got and try something new to gain ground… sucks for his troops lol

JonasK19

the Marleyans in Paradise have been there for 3 years. Gabi just got famous after the last battle of the war against the middle eastern guys. They wouldnt know her because of her fame.

Luca Martellucci

Finally a reaction i enjoyed even if i dont agree necessarily on all your points but at least you don't missundersood something objective about the show. I got to say even if in another of your reaction you miss some of the show and got wrong assumptions, i enjoy your different point of view. Just be yourselfs and don't get the community in your way to enjoy what you are watching

I absolutely knew you'd love this episode nerdy, it's my second favorite episode of the WHOLE show, my favorite rn beign episode 29

david ammerman

I love this episode as well. You bring up a great point about their background.

david ammerman

They're all military characters. And not only that but all of their fights have been against an Impossible enemy that they basically always lose against and are constantly forced to make brutal snap decisions that sacrifice alot of lives while also not having necessary information. Perspective isn't just what the viewer needs, it's what every major character in the show needs.

I do think his gripe with Erwin also became somewhat justified by Erwin himself. At his core he only wanted answers for his own satisfaction and routinely sent people to their deaths to meet his ends. His redemption was his suicide charge where he told the truth for once and gave up on his dream

Minerva Ravenclaw

Great reaction you guys! Waiting for episode 14🤍✨

MBH 77

Cool reaction, is episode 14 coming out today?

Thicc Thanos

Something that should also be mentioned about Erwin is that he DID build upon the generals of the past. In the Shadis flashback episode it’s stated that the scouts would get completely decimated under Shadis’ command when they went outside the walls. Erwin invented the flair gun and formation system that helped keep the scouts more protected than any of the previous generals.

Also Erwin dealt with a vastly harder situation than any of the previous commanders. Erwin had to contend with titan shifters Annie, Reiner, Zeke, and Bertholdt. Not to mention Erin. And all while being completely in the dark and lacking any information about who and what exactly the enemy was.

Armani

This was the best reaction ever ! Nerdy totally enjoyed this . And like he said the last 5 episodes too

Armani

Question for Nerdy Now that your are almost done with this season Have your views on “the basement reveal “ changed anyhow ? Do you see/understand now how the basement ties into this new season ? The Basement . Is know as a gateway cuz it is literally the end of an old story and the beginning of a new story . It almost feels like an entirely different series .

Minerva Ravenclaw

I thought you guys gonna upload two episodes, can use u please clarify or update the schedule? Thank you✨

Motivation doesn't matter if you're doing the job the best you can with what you have. Ethics don't win wars, people do.

I think they decided not to because there was a troll in the comments threatening to kill them

James Shuler

Hey guys. Saw y'all's twitter post. Sorry people are taking the show so seriously. Keep being y'all. Love your content and happy pride.

Someone posted a very disturbing comment (death threats) so I think they'll not upload episode 14. They posted something on Twitter

MBH 77

Yh I just saw the tweet now, it’s crazy. AOT Fandom can be very toxic but I hope they know that’s it’s the dumb minority who are like that. I’m hoping they still upload.

Sketch

Jesus christ I saw the twitter post, I can't even begin to imagine how miserable a person's life has to be to the point where they would do that type of shit. Insane. Hope you guys are doing okay.

Crewe

You have support here. I love aot but some ppl are utterly insane and can't understand how others might disagree on a show (it's literally just a show, why be so pathetic to send death threats?)

Marco

We love you Nerdy! Ok that’s hyperbole but at the very least I want you to live a long life!

Minerva Ravenclaw

Hi guys! I'm sorry about what happened, you have our full support and love. That Being said, please can you clarify if you're going to continue reacting to AOT because frankly I only subscribed to your Patreon to watch these reactions so I want to know if I need to cancel my subscription or no. I'll keep ofc watching your different reactions on YT and support you all the way, but for Patreon I'm only here for AOT. Thank you and sorry again.

Sophie Bleasdale

I really enjoy watching your reactions, it is a shame that the community hasn't been truly welcoming and open minded that not everyone will interpret the show in the same way. I am disgusted and shocked you are receiving death threats! You have my full support. I am glad you are enjoying season 4, it is by far my favourite season. Can't wait to see more of your reactions.

Yes I know that, they were supposed to upload episode 14 with 13, but due to recent developments (disturbing comments they received) they didn't, so I was wondering if they're going to upload it at all or even proceed to react to AOT. I don't blame them if they stop. The fandom is being extremely toxic, but we have the right to know what they're planning to do, that's all I'm saying

Dane Fisette

Are you continuing AOT? Because that is the only reason I paid for this

david ammerman

Hope you guys are okay love the reactions
