It might be a bit ambitious but I’ll think you’ll finish this before nerdy finishes one piece. It’ll be close tho.

I'll finally have that push to watch this series. Sweet!

Ghengis Don

The show has several overarching plots that unravel throughout, but each episode, with the exception of a few pairs, is pretty standalone. The movie is also well worth a look, here or on your own, and is basically an extended episode (iirc it takes place, chronologically, toward the end of the series so I wouldn't watch it until you finish the show) It's been a while since I've watched this classic from end to end, so I'm looking forward to watching it with you!

Tom M

Excellent choice! I'll certainly see this after re-watching the series.

The Inedible Mattman!

Back in the early 2000s we used to call this series one of the holy trinity (Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Outlaw Star). It’s basically one of the three best anime from that era, and they were all done by the same production company. I’m very excited to watch this with you!

Its exciting to get a solo Claroos watch, especially of Cowboy Bebop. It is episodic but not without narrative through lines. Most non main title characters you meet will be one offs. The old guys do show up often. It is a wonderful journey and i'm happy to get to watch it again. Background audio was loud and it was hard to hear you some of the time.

Ancient Hydra

"Leave the water running..." Spike thought he was sick and about to puke in the sink.

Please don't use the audio of the show on your end. It's not always possible to sync exactly, and that just makes things weird.

Hello Nerdy Hello Claroos Cordial greetings from Uruguay. I've been hooked by your review of Cowboy Bebop, I love the anime of the 90s, they seem to me the golden decade of animation. They managed to tell great stories and only in one season, unlike the endless seasons of some anime. Please, if you have plans to watch another 90s anime, keep in mind EVANGELION, "The Godfather" of sci fi post apocalyptic psychological animes.
