Snivy Eggs typically take around 20 Weeks to mature, and are generally quiet pregnancies, with very little fetal movement from the growing Pokémon. Serperior fathers will treat their partners especially well during their pregnancy, often coiling around the distended uterus of their mates in the late stages of pregnancy. The infant Snivy soaks up sunlight that shines through their mother's skin, and onto the surface of the egg. The Snivy will photosynthesize while in utero, which can boost their growth significantly. Sunbathing is strongly recommended to any breeder incubating a Snivy. Around the 20th week of pregnancy, the Snivy will begin to hatch, causing the mother to enter labor. While most Snivy Eggs are laid before fully hatching, some more daring Snivy offspring will hatch while still inside their mothers, resulting in a seemingly live birth. Luckily, Snivy's slender body shape allows for easy deliveries should the Pokémon be much more crafty than anticipated. Snivy are almost never born as multiples, as Twin or Triplet Snivies will constantly vy for womb space like that of feudal lords. Any mother of Snivy multiples will undoubtedly suffer a Hyperactive Pregnancy. End of current documentation.

Professor Bianca's Breeding Research Experiment 2: Gestation of Pokémon #498 - Tepig Emboar Males are known for their rather aggressive breeding habits, their partner will need to have an iron constitution to endure the very physical mating process of an Emboar. As the Emboar reaches Climax, it will discharge a single, but very powerful blast of red-hot super sticky semen into their partner's uterus. While the superheated semen may seem exceptionally dangerous, the Emboar will seemingly regulate the temperature of their ejaculation relative to their mating partner. Even a human womb is capable of carrying fresh Emboar cum! Most of the semen will stick to the female's uterine walls, "preheating" their biological oven in preparation for the fertilized egg. The moment of insemination will cause the fertilized egg cell to begin emanating heat, slightly warmer than that of the preexisting discharge in the mother's womb. As the Egg develops, it will continually generate its own heat, something not atypical of Fire-Type Pokémon Pregnancies. Tepig Eggs are one of the more comfortable Fire-Type pregnancies for a Non-Pokémon mother, as the Egg's natural heat radiation is lower in temperature than that of other Fire Types. While gestating, the egg's radiating heat will cause the mother's abdomen to be slightly hotter than the rest of her body, albeit to little consequence. The egg welcomes heat, so if incubating a Tepig egg during the Winter months, using an Onsen or similar Heated Bath regularly will keep the Tepig from losing too much body temperature. When using an Onsen while incubating a Tepig, it is recommended to completely submerge the mother's belly below the surface of the water, massaging the distended uterus in circular motions. Tepig Eggs will mature after 25 Weeks, and mothers are expected to deliver at around 23 Weeks. A Tepig Egg is slightly bigger than most, but not by enough to significantly impact laying it. However, waiting too long for an Overdue Tepig may cause the egg to explode while still in the womb, the side effects of which are still under review. Immediately afterwards, the mother's labor will be jumpstarted, and she will have to give live birth. The live birth of a Tepig is an arduous and painful process given the infant's size and density. Contractions will cause an intense burning sensation, one that will not cease until the Tepig is fully born. Following the Tepig's birth, it will immediately be drawn to wean from its birth mother. If breeding professionally, it is recommended NOT to indulge the Tepig in breastfeeding, as it may become too attached. Conclusion: Like many Fire Types, should only be attempted by more Experienced Breeders. Lower temperatures make Tepigs good for those looking to get into Fire-Type Breeding. Professor Bianca's Breeding Research Experiment 3: Gestation of Pokémon #501 - Oshawott Adult Male Samurott claim their mates through a vicious contest of swordplay against other Males vying for Females. After securing a mate, Samurott will only engage in breeding when propositioned by their mates, and will direct them through a special Mating Ritual. The Samurott will take their mate to the nearest large body of water, whether that be a Lake or the Ocean, and walk them into the water. Beneath the water's surface, the Samurott will begin intercourse with his mate, swirling together in the water in a dance-like series of motions. Once the Samurott has sufficiently prepared, he will ejaculate into his mate's womb, filling it with a semi-viscous discharge of reproductive fluids. Once insemination is assured, the Samurott will fiercely defend and chaperone his mate for the duration of her pregnancy. Oshawott, like with many Water Type Pregnancies, will cause the Amniotic Sac to fill with more Water and Fluids than that of a typical pregnancy, resulting in a slightly bigger and more "bouncy" belly. Bathing and Swimming are likely to become daily activities for an expecting Oshawott Mother, as keeping the surface of the her belly damp helps promote the unborn Oshawott's swimming capabilities. Waterfalls are the premier location for an Oshawott Mother to frequent, as upon laying her belly underneath the cascade, the sensation of water trickling down the belly's surface will help reduce the Oshawott's sensitivity to Water Pressure. Near the end of the Gestation Cycle, the Samurott Father will take his mate to a location with a large quantity of Seashells. The pair will trawl the area for a special Seashell that will be bestowed upon their child once they are born. After around 20 Weeks of pregnancy, the mother's belly will "Drop" as the Oshawott Egg moves into position to soon be laid. At the moment when the mother's water breaks, she will have a much greater discharge of amniotic fluid as her Womb is drained of the excess water in preparation for the birth. Under the supervision and assistance of her suitor, the mother will have a rather smooth birthing experience, as the Egg's moisture creates a lubricant that makes birth quicker and less painful. Once the Oshawott's Egg is laid, the father will take the Special Seashell chosen by him and his mate, and use it to smash open the Egg. The Seashell will then be bequeathed to the child, which they will learn to utilize as they grow older. Oshawott Multiples are somewhat common, and the womb will fill with exponentially more fluid to cradle the Eggs, making for a much larger pregnancy belly. Conclusion: An easy pregnancy that is a more than viable choice for inexperienced Breeders. Samurott Fathers provide great protection and will stay by the mother's side near constantly. Addendum to Experiment 3 It is strongly encouraged for breeders carrying Oshawott Egg(s) to deliver via Waterbirth. The water will cushion the belly and dampen the pain caused by contractions during labor. Water will also assist in the birthing process by flowing into the birth canal and forming a lubricant after coming into contact with enzymes on the surface of the Egg(s). Furthermore, the attending Samurott father will support and carry their mate aloft during labor, should the body of water be deep enough. End addendum.
