Angie

This makes me so happy you chose this series. You 2 at the moment are a refreshing bit of healthy entertainment in my life. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Brian Clancy

Bro we need Brandon to catch up at some point, and watch wit yall. This show is perfect for you and Brandon even more than GOT tbh

Shaly Davenport

Oh yes! Best tv show ever! The cinematography and the story and the acting is chefs kiss! So excited to watch you react to this ♥️

everydaynegroes

I got that one coming as well. I just have to make it through a couple more shows and then I can commit to that 👌🏾 -Adison

Angie

I think the drug that he was smoking was opium

hannahbee99

So glad you guys are reacting to this!! Just for context, the Peaky Blinders are loosely based on a real gang in Birmingham that had the same name. My Great-Grandad grew up in Birmingham and used to run books and papers for them as a boy. This is an amazing show, the seasons are short and sweet but the production, writing and acting is incredible!

kingBD

LFG❗️ by order of the peaky fucking blinders

Rocinate

WW1 ended in 1918, a year before the show took place. Dope reaction as always!!

Leon

Is Brother Brandon going to catch up and watch along?

Shennon

Hey guys! Shout out to Sam Neil (I know him as Dr Alan Grant in Jurassic Park) -playing the Chief Inspector and Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy from Harry Potter)- playing Aunt Polly! First time watching this show and glad to watch it with yall!

Shennon

RIP Helen 😢

Austin Hogan

That’s the same stuff that they’re using Game of Thrones that is milk or the poppy the drug that he was smoking it’s called opium it’s where all other opiate medication is derived

Angelina Forti

Cillian Murphys first name is pronounced as Killian , he’s a very talented actor with amazing range as are many of the other actors in the brilliant show. I’ve heard there will be a movie coming soon

Angelina Forti

Peaky blinders refers to hiding/sewing razor blades into the caps or hats. During this series it’s very easy to miss things as there’s SO much packed into each episode just like game of thrones

everydaynegroes

Most likely not on these. He will still be on GoT though 👌🏾 -Adison

Bory

Y’all have some amazing show taste. Amazing reactions fellas

JenChristiF

Yes! Love this series. And this was an actual gang in history. Not sure how much the show has to do with the actual gang though.

Daniel

YESSSSS both bb and this one are my favourite series i think this journey will be awesome

Rosh

So glad you guys picked PB to react to, with Carianna🤌🏻🙌🏻 youu know i been shouting this from the roof tops since the beginning of the year 😂🙌🏻 BB would of been good too (so i hear, i haven’t actually watched it cos i knew it was a potential new season too react to for you guys) so im holding off on that one 😂

Még

As someone who lives in Belgium and where the first and second world war are big parts of our history, the first war 1914-1918 was one of the most gruesome wars in history. Simply because this was the first time in human history they waged war with 'modern' weapons. Just a piece of history 🙌🏽

Rosh

Just some more background aswell, Guns became fully banned in the uk in 1997 due to a school shooting that took place at a primary school in scotland. It is only in the last 20-30 years that there has been a ban on guns here. In 1919 they deffo would of had guns freely especially after the war🫶🏻

Ade

Definitely the right choice!

zoë elisa

I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW ! thank you 🙏🏼

Melinda

Yayyyyyy!!! I’m so happy!! I didn’t finish the final season because I’m a punk and Michael made my chest hurt so I’ll complete it with you guys.

Melinda

BB is good but it’s going to take a little minute to get interesting. I also wound up hating some of the characters so much I don’t really rewatch that often 😭😂

The Emerald Duchess

It’s not even my birthday! You guys are about to witness more greatness! Irish ☘️ power with Cillian (pronounced sill-ian) Filming for the movie starts in a matter of weeks! Also the entire cast is one of the best ensembles ever created

DC

I haven't seen this show before. Now excited to start!!

Alexandra Ho

I think it’s killian actually. Irish names be crazy…

A.

you asked what a cosh is when the older brother was said to be carrying one when he got taken by the police: fyi it's a slang term for a truncheon/club, commonly carried by the police as a weapon to this day since they don't carry guns routinely in the uk.

Emmy

I've been meaning to start this show but just never got around to it so I'm very excited to watch it with yous

Arsheley

Please tell me y’all are going to continue 😭

Mindbomb

k, jumping in. already digging comments before the titles. We bout get a top tier reaction folks.

Cristina

Yep, I've heard him intro himself as "kill-ian"

Cristina

Around that time (1919) in Small Heath/Birmingham, the biggest factories made tires and guns for the war. You'll hear "BSA" a lot, stands for British Small Arms. There's a bunch of documentaries that came out about that area and time period because of this show!

Cristina

oh and before the war, BSA used to make motorcycles apparently? so makes sense if some drunk robbers took guns instead of bikes :-p

Rosh

He deffo pronounces it as Killian but i have also heard Cillian. Irish names are wild, mines Róisín (Row-sheen) and the pronunciations i have heard through my life have been absolutely wild😂😂

Rosh

😂😂😂 this sent me 😂😂😂

Melinda

Did you finish the series? The way that last season started I was like 😯😧😪 I can’t… and never went back.

Rosh

Yeahhh i finished the series and its hard to comment with out mini spoilers especially going into the 6th season😂 but i agree i watched the first couple of eps for 6 and i stopped for a good while before finishing it off

Tyrone Bigguns

so if im incredibly bored watching this, does it mean i won't enjoy the series or does it pick up? some shows a slow burners... this seems like it could be. but i was really bored throughout the entire hour.

Irish40

Both Class Acts 🇮🇪💚

Death_LeKid

I took a break from socials. Coming back to see yall covering Peaky Blinders. Im hyped! Thank you.
