This is where Arya's plot armor was made of Valyrian steel. Despite having a toothpick for a sword and NO training in swordplay past her 11th year, we're supposed to believe that she had even half a chance to beat Brienne - who had, in the words of The Hound, "armor and a big fucking sword". The best thing Arya was able to do was cheat her way to a stalemate, but suddenly the fans were like "oh, she could beat the Kingslayer/the Mountain/Sir Arthur himself!" Please. If you ask me precisely where GOT jumped the shark and started its slide to Shitsville, I'd say it's right in this moment.

Jamie did push back on Cersi about the kids and why they never spoke about Tommens death and the other 2 died in his arms while he was trying to rescue them. Not father of the year but I believe he cared.

So far, the only two houses to be completely wiped out are Tyrell and Bolton. Cersi is using the Tyrell gold to pay off the debt the crown, and the Lannisters have acquired through Robert's rein as King. In an earlier episode, they said the Tyrell's were the second richest house behind the Lannisters and Tywin told Cersi the Lannister gold mines had dried up. She knows she can't borrow further without settling the current debt. I can't wait to watch the next 3 episodes with ya'll.....so much happens! (I believe that is Dylan O'brien's new movie, Caddo Lake. It's out on HBOMax. It's a M. Night Shyamalan horror film. It came out October 10th)

I thought that too aswel, she could have had it for herself but Danny burnt all the food so that Kings landing would starve while a siege was going on. She didn't want them to be able to stay in Kings landing for years with all their food stores stocked up. Also hungry people aren't happy people so it would start problems for cersei and cause unrest. 😄.

Right, I'm not sure why these two would conclude he didn't love his kids. His heart melted when his daughter told him she knew he was her father and was glad. Of course he wasn't as involved because they had to keep their relationship hidden most of their kids lives and he also didn't have a very involved or good father figure himself.

Right she was learning and picking up on fighting styles from just about everyone she interacted with. Starting with her dance master, to learning archery from the brotherhood without banners, to learning from the hound, Jaqen taught her how to basically be invisible, fight without the sense of sight, ect. She was learning fighting skills from the very get go.

The Mongols main head version of them was Genghis Khan. Most of China is related to him for reasons though that he had over 1500 bastards were real fighters and actually fought on horses and shot bows like that from the age of three and up they conquered most of all of Europe and parts of Africa. They were formidable, and are reason most of our history has gone the Dothraki are just inspired by them.

I think the old Bran is still there, it's just going to take some time to manifest. He now has the ability to see the past, present, and parts of the future. I think he's still adjusting to it, remember when the OG 👁 👀 raven told him that he's not ready yet. I doubt anyone would be in their right mind with a constant stream of information from the past and future.

I don't get why people are bothered with Bran being like this. He didn't have an interesting personality before. At least not a special one like Tyrion or literally everyone else. This cryptic all-knowing oracle is a lot more interesting than what he was before.

The old 3 eyed raven told Bran if he stayed in the visions too long he’d drown. I think when all that happened to Hodor and they couldn’t wake him up this is what he meant. He saw too much and now the worlds past are his memories not just his stark past. If he didn’t become apathetic or numb to events he saw he would probably go insane. Makes sense to me why he’s like this.

It’s like his mind overloaded to 100% after the previous three-eyed raven died, especially after how badly that transfer was for him and the others to get out. I do remember them during the release of s7 mentioning this was moreso why Bran acts like that now

I always thought the rationale was they didn’t know what wagons had gold and what had food, so better to burn the gold because Cersei needed it strategically. But not sure if that even makes sense lol.

I think the problem is that she’s calling herself a savior and breaker of chains but how is bowing to her or death a real choice? She said she’s saving them from Cersei the monster but if you don’t bow to her you will burn…idk that’s kinda a bad look

It was a tough pill for me to swallow because him being pushed out the window was what hooked me to the show. Him being turned into the 3 eye raven was interesting but still sad cause he pretty much died to become something for the realm so to speak. Like we watched a good portion of the starks die and he on the list pretty much lol

The clouds and weather represented “Stormborn” for Danny. It just bothered me that they managed to get there that fast whe all those horses and Dothraki had to be shipped from dragonstone. And YES, as a former hospice employee I can confirm that many do lose their continence just before or after passing away…..

Re: Jamie's love for his kids Jamie had NO love for his kids in the book, referring to Joffrey as a "squirt in Cersei's cunt" and nothing more. He didn't dislike the other two, but he genuinely despised Joffrey and was secretly glad that the boy was dead. This show made Jamie look like a much better father than he actually was.

As I said, Arya had NO training in swordplay beyond her 11th year, a couple of archery lessons and some decent training with a bo staff (apparently she learned knife fighting from thin air)...and STILL got knocked flat on her ass by Brienne. I think we would be MORE critical, personally. What kind of idiot burns a TON of soldiers who could have fought for her when all she had to do was park Drogon and say who she was? That's terrible battle strategy, and I think the only reason why Dany got a pass for so long is BECAUSE she was a woman.

I remember a battle in the Dance of the Dragons (can't remember which one) where NOBODY standing nearby lived to tell the story b/c that fire roasted their asses.
