Stop making excuses for Dany and her hunger to burn people. If it was anyone else you be having them on your list. Bend the knee or die??? That’s more of the same. Jon was the Lord commander. The punishment for desertion is beheading. Dany is in no way in the right here. She just burned the family of the man that made Jorah well.

Violet

Titled "Eastside." CLASSIC GERALD!

Zach VanDyke

“he touching on my dragon like that no diddy” 😂😂😂😂

Avishai

I didnt want to say it... But lowkey Addison be judging Dany on how she say stuff and how she makes faces. It kinda gives that he only feels that way because she's a woman.

Zach VanDyke

yall missed something very important this episode. I won’t say what though.👀

Namarrien

Robert's weapon of choice is a hammer, so Gengry using a hammer is a way to show that he is his father's son

Namarrien

Oh and when Sam said "I'm tired of reading of the achievements of better men* He is actually quoting his father, showing that he is thinking back and kind of agreeing that he is tired, showing that he doesn't completely hate his father

candle

Right she really just rolled up to people who don’t know her and said hey so either you listen to me or you die. :) No other character has done that so I don’t know why people keep acting like she’s not using fire and blood to usurp a throne (that she believes is hers)

JenChristiF

But they like Arya and Breanne , other women . I just think they have high hopes for Dani, so they are harder on her than other characters.

Ryan Turko

do yall realize the A team they just assembled?! lol

Forevertyad

HOW?! How has arguably the most important sub-plot of the show gone over their heads like this? 🥲🙆🏿‍♀️

Avishai

Facts. Im not convinced totally. And geech is totally fair. But it seems like maybe Addison is waiting on her to go mad or something. He just seems to judge her bad moves with extra weight. Or if its equally bad and good to what she does, he leans to judge it on the bad side of what she did.

Nikki Milbourne

I was coming to say this exact thing! It's only because Dany is a woman. Anyone else in the show doing the same thing as her and it's "She's one of them ones." It's somehow different for her because she's THE most powerful character and she happens to be a woman.

Britt

Please delete and please don’t post hints. - EDN Mod

Melinda

Because they talk through a lot of the important pieces and miss gems.

Festina

The arya/sansa and cersei plot in this episode made me realise got was gone for good 🥲

bits

Nah, I get what you're saying because he's constantly criticizing her, but imo that's only because he has always seen Dany's worst qualities, whereas alot of us allow her to get away w them because her story/character is so interesting. His opinion of her is justified imo; it's not a bad take or a misogyny thing. I mean, he calls out EVERYONE on what he disagrees with -- Theon's faults (the trauma for him is no excuse), Sansa speaking up publicly against Jon, he even called out Arya on her tone this ep (which no one EVER does in that scene). I think they're very fair in their criticism of Dany, she's egotistical and he just keeps calling her out on it.

bits

They'll get it on editing hopefully.

bits

Burning and beheading are not created equal; fire is a brutal, painful, horrible death. I think that's why some of us (well, me lol) feel there's a dichotomy between punishment by Jon and by Dany. And I'm totally cool w her saying "join or die" but don't pretend your being merciful while doing it, that is not a choice. The rationale that "all characters do that" isn't really the case either: of course this is more of a plot device to spare our favs, but most characters on this show don't actually kill surrendered POWs that often. I mean, look at how many characters survived imprisonment... Rob w Jamie, let him live. Mance w Jon. Cersei with Sansa. Brienne w Jamie. Cat w Tyrion. Honestly I don't really care one way or the other so don't come at me too hard 😋❤

Demon Rick

i only just clocked that the Citadel leader is the Harry potter Teacher that told Tom Riddle about Whore Crux’s 😦

Tyrademi

“Toutching on my dragon like that, no diddy” had me screaminggg 😭😂

Demon Rick

The Sir Davos Wifi nickname goes hard🔥

Stephanie

it angers me to NO END that they start painting Dany as a villain in the show when she starts using her dragons. like literally what did they expect her to do?!!!??! keep them as fun pets?! Tyrion is getting on my NERVES y'all

Tyra

Can’t wait for episode 6!

JM

Next episode is wild. Don't worry yall, they will catch what they missed in two more episodes.

Brandon Thomas

Was thinking to myself, no they missed it.

Remy

It’s called blind followers, hero worshiping false Gods. She’s not even the rightful queen. Pretty sure there was a war. Robert Baratheon won it. Gendry has more right to the throne than she has.

candle

Ummm maybe actually be different than other rulers like she claims to be? Maybe not roll up on complete strangers and go hey so we dont know each other but either you listen to me or your entire house dies :) Tyrion was absolutely right in this. She's a foreign conqueror to these people and she's showing them nothing but brutality and force, the same as other rulers before did, especially her ancestors. So much for breaking the wheel.

Remy

Danni had been a conqueror since season two, she wanted blood and fire the whole time. Go read the book s and rewatch. This time pay attention to all the warning signs that Dani has a dark , controlling nature. Remember all Targaryen s are inner bred. They are Known to be slightly mad. You just haven’t paid attention. I give it to Addison. He’s seen her very early on. Where as Brandon has her back. Does she deserve it? Is she the rightful heir?? I’d argue give the war was won by the Baratheon’s that Gendry has more right to the throne than Dani the conquering blood and fire queen. Also there was a conversation here with Sam that revealed something you totally missed. Pause if you are talking through dialogue. For you have missed the most important revelation in this season.

Remy

Here the thing the punishment for treason is death. Jon killed for desertion, or treason. There a no comparison to Danni s choice to kill people and Jon’s.

Jade Richards

Y’all missed a big piece of the info when Danny and dragon pulled up on John snow huge !!! Go back to the part when John is standing on the mountain side rewatch it John the dragon how johns acts how DROGON acts what is it that you see when Danny looks down at John and drogon moves his neck for Danny to see for that dragon to even let John actually touch him is wild cuz we know that’s not that simple as you have seen in house of the dragon next 2 episodes are going to be crazy !!!!

candle

Nah anyone who knows the Targaryen history will have the same reaction and Adison did watch the Lore videos that go deeper into how her father acted. It's logical to be more critical of her when she's the one whose family has a history of power-hungry madness. It's fair to look for any signs of that in her, including the way she says things.

Dark D

Brother, it's spelled Horcrux.

A.

If Robert won via conquest, and Aegon won via conquest, then why can't Dany? She's no worse than any of her peers, and better than some (mostly Cersei). Obviously, they're all wrong from our perspective because there's no such thing as a rightful king or queen. What about the consent of the governed?

Christina

By your argument you are saying that Danny can conquer cause she’s doing the same thing other leaders did, but the issue is that she markets herself as someone who is BREAKING those patterns that’s a direct contradiction and points to big flaws in her beliefs or how she views herself

Alecia S

From now on they’re called Whore Crux because lololol

Constantdev

So Bran isn't controlling all of the ravens, he's just in the one raven flying with the rest to sort of blend in as a spy instead of just one raven blatantly spying on everyone and the Wight army

Alecia S

Not bring a stroller 😂

Remy

She’s a hypocrite. She’s a power hungry dictator. Same as all the others.

Remy

Again making excuses. Dani is neither the rightful heir or a good person. None are good people. She has thrown her weight around and conquered countless places by blood and fire. You don’t have to invoke anyone else name. Which is what people do when they have no argument.

Cait

Yall better not drop spoilers in these comments again :)

Remy

Well she can. The problem is Dani isn’t the rightful heir and she throws her weight around causing it wherever she goes. Screaming fire and blood. I think you need to wake up to what Dani is. What makes me laugh about it is is so sure she has the right to control and burn. Yet there are a few more that are more likely the heir than she a woman and she b not grown up in Westeros. She’s has to be the centre of attention. If not she will burn you alive.

Gmoney

She was like that from the beginning u were just blinded by her starting off as the victim and her good intentions but the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions

Jess Here

I thought so too, but now I think he's controlling them one at a time but warging from one to another very quickly. This is the first time I got that impression from this scene and it's because last night I listened to the Prologue chapter of Dance of the Dragons (youtube has it) and it's from the POV of the character Varamyr Sixskins, one of the wildling wargs, and in one part he's warging so quickly through different animals, even trees. So when I watched this scene now, it gave me that same impression.

Constantdev

I could definitely see that being a thing. I think they thought he was like controlling the whole flock like the alpha crow or something

Joshua

Look I love every reaction , its why I pay to watch. Im just here to politely encourage yall to press on! Its halloween month ....I get it........... but what is scarier than...."snow demons"????? IJS ... Winter is here fellas!

Tyrone Bigguns

ooops not on time out here! just wanted to say i wasnt calling YOU a fatty, but i think you know that. and if fatties wanna come out of nowhere with their claws out, they gonna get it back.

JMK BlaQ-IfJesusNmalcomXhadAbabyIdMiraculouslyComeOutOfKeisha

This bias Addison has over Danny is wild,.... just say you want Cersei to kill her because im so confused on how you expect war to go? You know one side lloses with their liffe right? You know they all willingly go into battle with real swords not the dollar tree foam shits? And if one side has fireballs parachuting inthe air or a creature with a fireball chest their going to use it right....yo your fake righteousness is so forced.. almost has me wondering if you REALLY know more than youre letting on... you act like you hathefactte Cersei but get upset when the people WH KNOW HOW SHE MOVES and dot even reslly F with her, are STILL choosing to support her stayig where she is and continuing to be on her bull-ish. I find it crazy how Cersei acts and behsves exactly like what everyone fears Danny will turn into but whrn Danny does 1 thing or anything to avenge her actions EVEN after supressing the easy way and being FAIR IN WARRRR as every character is aware she could do, which is what her fater wouldve done, it becomes Dannys so foul or evil..like make it make sense. Especially when EVERYONE KNOWS the "breaker of chains" rumours about Danny and the opposite characteristic and behaviour rumours about Cersei and all the innocent lives shes taken in the name of selfish greed. Like Addison what woman hurt you for you to be this naive or ignorant to the facts presented my dude..c'mon...mr ramsay needs retribution in the worst way. Bend or die is crazy but this os GOT world AND they wouldve died anyway on the battlefield at least theyre going out true to their cause LIKE THEY ALL SIGNED UP FOR

ramon carter

the dragon smells tagaryen blood in Jon thats why he came to him and let him pet him

Taylor Brand

Are yalls chairs comfortable enough

Taylor Brand

This is a lot 🤣 i like that Addison isn’t fooled and saw Danny in a different light. Everyone else is always obsessed with her

☆kat☆

I think that a lot of people don't consider that a lot has changed in how people watch television since GoT started and I have seen the way that people react to Dany now is a bit different than the way people reacted to Dany a few years ago. It's been really interesting actually. I also believe that not everyone needs to like our faves. We don't need to defend a character every time a person doesn't vibe with them. Dany makes questionable choices. She does. Her intentions are good, but she's imperfect and I like that about her BECAUSE she's a woman and she's allowed to be that.

Dani H

Suddenly yall mad about Sam’s dad. Hypocrites.

Dani H

Yall mad when she’s doing the same shit every one does at war.

quell

Ik im late but to me with Dany dragons should have been last resort and that’s why she’s the villain… she is so entitled for no reason it seems besides a throne her dad lost
