“Lori gone, time for chocolate” is crazy 🤣🤣🤣

Ayruzii

The scene with the governor and Maggie was so disturbing he really was a SICKO 🥲

Melanie

Very much appreciated. Thank y’all. And I agree, Memphis is its own “country/state”. A very special breed. ❤️

Allure

That’s a fact, if Carl was with Maggie. Merle’s cap would have been pushed back 😭

Fellerz

The Governor in The Comic is 100x worse than the Show. They had to water him down a lot! Especially what he did to Michonne

Ayruzii

I knowww this is my favorite comic book lol 💕

Mikel Swart

Love another episode. Mid season finale next episode. Now, we need more Vikings

where_is_t

The stark contrast between baseball cap baby Glenn and interrogation Glenn always gets me, it hasn’t even been that long and he is an entirely different person.

I'm not gonna lie, when Rick unnecessarily went all Guatánamo Bay on Michonne grabbing her bullet wound, I held a bit of grudge with him for a while after that lol. I was very protective of Michonne 😄. But forreal, I know he's going through a lot. He lost his wife, T-Dogg, and almost lost Carol in like a span of 30 minutes because of a stranger being a danger, and now two more of his people while a new stranger pulls up with info? She was talking though, so that whole thing was unnecessary. What he THOUGHT he could do was use force to give an aggressive show of dominance through torture and scare her. What he realized REAL quick was that he actually face to face against another alpha and he wasn't gonna break her. "Don't you ever touch me again". Even with that crossbow in her face, she straight up looked Daryl dead in his eyes without an ounce of fear and said, "Find 'em yourself". Then it was like a moment with Rick & Michonne observing each other like two big cats in the wild circling and sizing each other up. Rick knew immediately that he needed a new approach or he wasn't gonna get anywhere with her lol...

David Morrissey said that the person he used as inspiration for playing The Governor was actually Bill Clinton, and honestly it makes a lot of sense. The Governor in the comics was quite different in personality and possibly one of the few characters that literally made me absolutely sick to my stomach(the way we get introduced to The Governor & Woodbury with Rick, Glenn, & Michonne checking the place out still gives me chills and makes me nauseous just thinking about it, although it kicked off one of the wildest beefs in the comics). The Governor in the show, although diabolical, also has a very charismatic, Southern charming nature with a very politician air around him with the way he carries himself and interacts with people. The way he talks to the people, the way he easily covers the truth with convincing lies, he very much fits the title he was given. And on top of that, being a remotely attractive middle age man, all of that charisma and charm, he has no trouble pulling women. You can definitely see that Bill Clinton inspiration in the performance. All he needed was to bust out a saxophone lol...

Demon Rick

But Cuss words is where they draw the line💀 AMC hilarious

Landon DuVall

As rough as Rick and crew were with Michonne at first, that view she got of Carol's reunion sealed the deal in my opinion. The governor lied to her about why he did everything he did. Rick was straight up to her face about his intentions. And when she saw the group unfiltered, that's the kind of group you want to be a part of in the apocolypse. No cap shit

Rosedawson87

I can't wait until y'all get to episode 12 Clear

Teal Summers

Remember Brandon that you said something about choosing something new when it came to names. Carl was going through all the names of the women they had lost when you said that. I think Carl realized he needed to give her a new name as well and not a name of someone who didn't make it.

Teal Summers

"Got that fallout music" yep and that game is what turned me onto the 40's and 50's music which is now my fav era of music. All I ever listen to in my car is 40's junction lol.

The Lazy Cajun

The governor is horrible in the show but still tamed down from the comics. He was 100% worse and in a way I’m glad they couldn’t show most of it on Tv. Reading it was too much.

Christina

Love this comment

Christina

Not Rick going to HR he did feel her up then mash her wound thats title 9 and unnecessary roughness 😂😂😂

Rylee

love your reactions to my fave show!!

Qjoseph

"tenderizing that meat".. yea I heard you lol. don't look confused

Ash Lee Can

Just mainly the f bomb, although I believe they have some alternate versions on a few scenes with them in, but I think they let alone scene or two later in the series that they let the scene have it in...

Ash Lee Can

Yes. What he did to Rick was bad enough. What he did to Michonne? It was probably the only part of the comics genuinely felt physically sick. I don't blame Glenn for breaking because his room was right next to hers and they made him hear ALL of it, left him completely traumatized, too. She got her get back though, even though everything spiraled from there. Although, Comic Governor is more heinous, TV Governor is a way better fleshed out, more intelligent character than Comic Govenor that makes him a very different type of dangerous. Maybe even more...

vceisdead

Bro the comics get so dark

vceisdead

nah Rick was just tripping lmao. I didnt read that deep into it at all. She was just pissed that he tried that ish when she was literally cooperating!! What was he on!

Jankboyelm

What he did to michonne in the comics makes me sick

Montae Williams

Michonne knew Merle & Andrea were from the same group. Meryl nabs Maggie/Glen after asking about his brother so clearly they’re not on good terms. She’s smart enough to put it all together. ATP only offering info that matters to get her back into Woodbury on a stealth mission is what she needs. She’ll be out of a prison cell, have her sword back & be out in the wild 🤷🏽‍♀️

vceisdead

oh shit I forgot what happened to Rick in the comic. Crazy how that was a HUGE moment left out of the show, but I do understand why.

Ash Lee Can

I still get sick just thinking about it...

Ash Lee Can

And allow her to have her own identity, too, not just a remembrance of someone else. I imagine it's also be painful for some to name her and saying her name and not remember the person who didn't make it all of the time. Sure you can just give her a nickname( or keep their one Daryl gave her lol), and sure, over time it's probably be easier, but I imagine it would still be hard...

Ash Lee Can

He was trying to punk her because she wasn't giving up the information quickly enough for his like because Michonne was doing her usual vagueness approach, so and was trying to force it all out of her with a torturous threat by grabbing her bullet wound, but he realized very quickly that shit wasn't going to work because, again, he was dealing with a fearless alpha on his hands, so he took a different approach. Rick's become very weary of strangers now after what happened with Tomas and Andrew. He just lost his wife and T-Dogg because he didn't kill the prisoner stranger that he didn't realize was as much of a threat that he became. A stranger, who seems very capable of being very dangerous, randomly showed up to the prison conveniently baby formula and found out from her that two of his people got snatched up by some outsider? After losing two of his people like 2 days prior, if that, because of a stranger threat? Understand something, Rick was walking away from Michonne at the fence in beginning, meaning he was going to let Michonne die. The only reason he ran out there and saved her was because CARL saved her by shooting the walkers. Carl asked him first he they were going to save her and Rick walked off, so Carl made the decision for him. When Rick grabbed her bullet wound, he was watching her reaction to it hard to how she responded to both him and Daryl. He was staring at her. Both Rick & Michonne are very observant people and Rick understood that trying to assert himself as a dominating threat wasn't going to work, which is why he shushed Daryl and had him lower his crossbow, and tried a more humane, calm approach of moreso trying to appeal to a more empathetic nature of him trying to get her to uhderstand that he needs to save his people. Someone who shows up with baby formula has a better chance of having an empathetic side and he went with that(but also very likely someone intelligent & strategic). I understood WHY Rick went there, but it doesn't make it okay... The show is for more deeper than most fans understand, which is why there's a lot of things that many fans don't seem to get. Hard to watch a psychological series such as this and not look beneath the surface, both what is said and what is not said, and understanding human behavior...

gayjinchuriki

Did you guys miss the part where Merle called T-Dog a "spearchucker"? Lmao

The Lazy Cajun

Her get back was 🔥🔥 though. He deserved every bit of it.

Carrie Petty

Bold of you to assume Maggie needs protection. 😂 Rick absolutely needs to go see HR!

Kay Rey

I need the "Get back must be had," for the governor. Lol

Jess Here

He was 12 at the start. 3rd graders are usually 8 or 9.

Sierra Davis

This episode def was the beginning of a stronger Glenn! He fought a walker in a chair!

Jay Oliver

38:40 the face Adison had when he realized what he said 😂

Konner Cragun

I’m a new subscriber to Yall. Can’t lie, I seen that whole seen with Maggie with her shirt off 1 time. I ain’t ever seen it again. I had to skip over that whole scene. I just find it disturbing even if nothing happened, it’s possible that something could have happened

* The title of the episode, "When the Dead Come Knocking", refers to the small group of walkers "knocking" at the door of the hermit's cabin, or to Michonne's arrival at the Prison. * It may also refer to the multiple characters getting close to meeting who thought that each other were dead. This applies to Carol and the group, Merle and Daryl, the Governor and Michonne, and Andrea and Rick's group. * The episode's exact runtime is 00:43:11. * This episode marks Andrew Lincoln's (Rick) 25th appearance on the TV Series * A promo photo shows Rick and Oscar at the National Guard camp. * According to Talking Dead, when walkers are devouring a human's intestines, such as the hermit, the intestines are made from silicone casing and stuffed with barbecue. Non-meat-eating zombie actors are accommodated with vegetarian stuffing. * After Glenn kills the walker that Merle locks him in a room with, he yells out in frustration. That yell was improvised by Steven Yeun

Austin

* When the group is outside Woodbury and watching the sentries, the first sentry's rifle barrel is bent. * During the scene where the Governor interrogates Maggie, in the first shot of her back, her bra straps aren't visible. However, the next time the camera shows her back, you can clearly see them. * The Governor takes off his belt while interrogating Maggie. A few shots later is shown that he has the belt on. * When the Governor tells Martinez to take a group to the prison, he puts his cap on twice. * An audio malfunction happens when Rick and the rest of the group hole up in the Hermit's cabin. They arouse the Hermit who brandishes a double-barrel, breech breaking shotgun. When characters brandish pump action shotguns, often they pump a round for effect and the sound effect is characteristic. The pump action sound effect is erroneously applied to the breech breaking double barrel shotgun.

Truewooper

Yeah, the governor was mad liked that in the comics too, worse actually. Except it was Michone in the comics.

Rae

Yeah this is honestly why I'd rather prefer to die in an apocalypse like this. A life being SA'd and treated like property amongst a world of violent men who get to act out their sick impulses and fantasies is no life I'd ever want to live. I'd rather be a walker roaming the woods than all that agony
