Back in the day PG-13 didn't exist so when this movie came out it was given a PG rating haha. It usually took a lot to get an R rating back then also.

This movie was out before PG-13 was introduced. My parents wouldn't take us to PG movies -except at the drive-in, because they expected us to sleep. Jaws was traumatizing. You making me feel old with your reaction. this movie is mocking so many other movies: Saturday Night Fever, From Here to Eternity Yes commercial planes have autopilot but the pilots stay in the cockpit
