Omg yes!!!Yay!!!❤️💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Mosellaaa

❤️❤️❤️let’s goo I can’t wait for season 4 finale

Tyah Reacts

Oh yeah I been i waiting for y’all to get to this one 🍿

Faith

Yes! I have been waiting for this episode!

DD

Wait on meee I haven't even finished ep12 got 31 minutes left 🤣🤣

Faith

But Adison, I thought you said that Carol wouldn't do that to Lizzy when she did it to Karen. Lol

everydaynegroes

Good point but I was talking about at that moment with the virus going around. This episode presented entirely different scenarios. -Adison

Sabrina Bookert

That smoke that Carol and them saw was the building that Darryl and Beth burnt down! And she was already messed up… I feel Like the apocalypse just didn’t help… she had to go 🤷🏽‍♀️

Aeden Cundiff

This is awesome! I've been getting upset not seeing you guys post🤣 thank you guys!

kelly beauchane

The smoke was from Beth and Daryl burning down the cabin. They were all so close

Hannah Riley

This entire season is absolutely insane! I’ve been waiting for you guys to get to this season.

Fellerz

2 Episodes Away from Best Rick moment

Erikka_Reacts

There were only bad choices left after Lizzie killed Mica.

Fellerz

Coral was still fucked up about losing Sophia, now she lost Mika & Lizzie.

Harmony

Yall missed where Lizzie said Judith can change too and she was just about to kill little Judith!!! Such a sad episode!😭😭😭

Sierra Davis

Naw Carol was right to end Lizzie. Little girl was gone. You kill your own sister and don’t blink? Naw, she had to go. She was gonna kill Judith next. We don’t have to play with Mica’s zombie corpse hanging around to appease Lizzie. This was the most humane thing. She died quick. She would’ve died slowly when a walker got its hands on her.

Faith

Yes. Definitely different scenarios. But at the time I just found it funny of what was to come. Just pulling your leg.

Nae

Carol didn’t kill Karen and David out of malice

Faith

I do know that if someone ever tells me to look at the flowers, they will see my dust. Lol

Katagiri Yuichi

The difference is that Lizzie is sick if we kept her alive you would have to watch her to make sure that she doesn’t kill you or herself + watch out for the walkers + food and shelter. You can’t trust her with a weapon but can’t leave her without one. You’ll have to sleep with one eye open at all time.

Faith

I think one of the reasons why Tyreese forgave Carol was because he knew that Carol killing Lizzy effected Carol deeply. And he felt that she had felt the same killing David and Karen. I think Tyreese would have killed Carol if it hadn't effected her the way it did.

EliG

Bob banging that bottle at the shop (Big Box?) led to the walkers all congregating on one spot on roof and the roof caving in. He's responsible for death of the random guy who dated Beth. Causing a death when not too many people left a serious transgression. (Any death. :))

Felice Jackson

It only gets crazier from here. This season might have been my favorite one. Between the twists and turns and the shocking ways the storylines developed was chef’s kiss writing!

EliG

I think the smoke is from the cabin Darryl and Beth burned down.

EliG

You might have missed that she said she was just about to do Judith!

ariel mermaid

I really hope you’ll watch Fear the Walking Dead it will be so fun to watch

Demon Rick

This Episode changed the show forever, always thought kids were safe on TV but nah anyone can get it

Cole hauser

This was an episode that I was waiting for you guys to see. Mostly because I remember hearing the phrase “Carol isn’t about that” earlier on in the season or last season from one of you two. In this episode, she put her money where her mouth is from when she was talking to Rick about making the hard decisions and doing what needed to be done because you can’t just be a farmer. However this is probably the saddest episode in the series besides Killer Within. Mika told Carol already that Lizzy is strong but she essentially has bad brains.

Andrew Rice

“This is the sickest episode on this series”

Andrew Rice

that is until we get the crew with the one guy who went “i remember you… open your eyes..” in season 10. Iykyk.

EliG

I don't know about the forgiveness cuz Carol was NOT sorry! She confessed, but then went on to say that she had to kill them to protect the prison folks. She STILL believes that!!!

Matthew Tallent

The difference between Carol and Lizzie is Carol’s decision to kill Karen and David was a rational thought bc as far as they all knew at that time, Karen and David were the only ones sick, and to there knowledge the last person who got sick was Patrick. He wound up dying, and caused a whole chaotic mess in Cell block D. So Carol was thinking maybe if I take these 2 out, burn their bodies, then I can stop the disease from spreading. No one else knew Glenn and Sasha was gonna make it through the outbreak. No one knew how bad it was gonna get. So Carol honestly had the mindset of “Kill one, Save a Thousand.” Lizzie on the other hand, she was psychologically twisted. She thought walkers were friends, even tho all they do is kill and rip people apart. HER OWN FATHER DIED BC OF A WALKER and she still sees them as friends. She killed her own Flesh and Blood little sister, the one who was there for her through everything, had he back through it all, comforted her when she needed and guided her at times. She killed her for the SOUL PURPOSE of proving a point to Carol that “walkers are friends”.

CourtMeDaddy 🧚🏽‍♀️

and in one of the previous episodes when tyrese was alone with the girls, lizzie suffocated judith! almost killed her then that’s when i knew she had to go

Avishai

I have not watched the reaction yet... But, this episode is one of three episodes from TWD that stick with me from the first time I watched it. As a man who wants a daughter, I was so deeply disturbed by this one. It still hurts me when I randomly think about it. For those wondering, its this one, The end of season 2 because I love a good "$hit hits the fan" scenario. And another that hasnt happened yet.

Crystal

The conversation about Carol was interesting. My issue with the Karen and David thing is by the time Karen and David showed systems, the damage was already done. They, and the kid, had already spread it. Just because nobody else was symptomatic at the time doesn't mean nobody else had it. Knowing how infectious diseases work(incubation period- the period in which a person is infected and doesn't show symptons yet, but are still contagious. Also asymptomatic people can also spread disease) that's not a reasonable conclusion to jump to. And if she had brought it up to counsel instead of operating on her own, Hershel and the doctor probably would have told her that. Also if it was Daryl, Lizzie, Glen, Maggie, Carl, etc instead of Karen and David she wouldn't have killed them. If she wouldn't be able to do it people she cares about its the wrong thing to do. That being said killing Lizzie was the only option for all the already mentioned reasons. She talked it out with Tyrese and they couldn't come up with an alternative. If they were still in the prison, if they had a bigger group, I would say there were options, but they are out on their own just the two of them and a baby with no long term food or shelter. They were not going to be able to keep an eye on her all the time.

Michael Lewis

Oh mannn this is the episode. Ok let me get to the reaction

Demon Rick

i just noticed Mika had the gun last while Lizzie had a knife i wonder if she froze again like when she was talking to Carol about never being able to kill even self defense 👀

akaSuzyMae

Have y'all read Of Mice and Men?

Ren

Look at the flowers merch?! 😒 that’s jacked up bruh *Brandon voice

Tarabee

Yes it is 🙏thank you for saving me from writing it.

Avishai

Adison is Old Testament twisted lmaooo. Hes crusade era twisted bro lmao. If you tell me about you killing my woman after that, or if you make her tell me. Everybody looking at the flowers. Give me a week at this point damn two girls just died in the most twisted ways.

Avishai

Yeah kid or not. We have to understand that a broken mind has no age. You possibly sacrifice countless others by keeping her around. And letting her be bit would be worse than shooting her. She didn’t feel pain or see that coming. Ol Yeller had to go and there was no other way…

Avishai

I would be interested to know how many people would pull that trigger. Yeah I think most people would handle her eventually. But in that moment? With that grief? That level of sadness? I don’t think most people would be able to conjure the rage to kill carol there.

SonjaB29

Alright, unpopular opinion. I hate this episode. It’s too dark and heartbreaking and I believe part of Tyrese and Carols’s soul was destroyed behind Lizzie’s sickness, Carol’s actions and confession. Tyrese proved he is a strong man to outright forgive Carol for killing his woman, but yes, I think Lizzie’s psychotic behavior and the way Carol discussed options/solutions with him before carrying out the sentence helped. But as a mother who lost her own child, it broke something in Carol to do it and destroyed pieces of Tyrese to witness it. It’s just horrible. The entire scene was horrible.

Rindamarie

I own seasons 1-7 on DVD, but I skip this episode when I re-watch. It was disturbing. Lizzie was too far gone. I knew her character's name meant she was probably going to do something crazy, but I didn't see her taking out her sister. I think y'all missed her saying she was about to kill Judith. Carol saying 'but Judith can't walk yet' deterring Lizzie is DIABOLICAL. This show aired on AMC. And a huge criticism of the show by those who read the graphic novels was how toned down the violence was in the show. I never read the novels. I watched because I was invested in the characters. I honestly think TWD had a wider audience because of the toned-down violence, but this episode turned a lot of people off. Also, that smoke was from the fire that Daryl & Beth started with the Cabin in the previous 2 episodes. Y'all should rewatch the episodes from after the Prison attack and pay attention to the scenery. Our crew is split up into different groups, but they are crossing each other's paths on the way to Terminous. They aren't that far apart from each other!

Jamarion Rich

What happed to that kid, needed to happen. And adison what is the difference between a 14 year old and a 15 year old when they kill there own sister. What is the difference between a 14 year old and a 18 year old who killed there sibling in cold blood. There is no difference between any of them, they need to get taken out of here period. In this world and our world, because when you do something like that, there is no going back or fixing, only suppressing.

Tarabee

My justification for carol is coming soon…

Keke

(1/2) From my perspective, Lizzie was past the age where even in a pre-apocalyptic world she would’ve been able to get enough mental help. The biggest red flag was her being unable to distinguish the undead from humans. She was already showing signs of psychopathy and it would’ve only gotten worse with age. I feel like she would’ve become someone like the Governor (hot take). It’s unfortunate but it was necessary 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Michael Lewis

Yeahhh y'all missed when Lizzie said she was just about to do Judith but y'all interrupted. Now knowing that, was Carol right to look at the flowers Lil' Liz

Keke

(2/2) Carol was wrong but an adult’s brain vs a child’s brain and one who has mental issues is a tricky convo. Carol knows right from wrong and has the discernment to not make that choice again. Lizzie didn’t have the ability to feel remorse and know right from wrong, and I believe you can’t instill it after a certain age.

Jamarion Rich

And my justification for carol, is that they only survived within a limited framework, when carol killed them it was before they even knew about the medicine. What carol did was for the better of the group, its what she believed would be better for the group as a whole, for humans. What lizzie did, was fundmantally against humans, she wants to kill humans to change them into zombies, she is fundmantally against humanity.

Queen S

This episode was the most heartbreaking thing I seen in this show I agree with Addison to a point Lizzie was a child but her mind was broken she couldn't live in that world so I think Carol did the right thing because she was going to grow up to be a serial killer Carol was right she can't live with other people hummingbird was right when she said she caused all that stuff at the prison and she did you see her playing in the blood at the prison when Glenn was sick she already had mental problems before the turn you can see that when her sister talked to her for the longest time after watching this episode it was hard for me to watch another episode after that for minute because that's stuck with me that poor baby to be sick like that and cannot get any help I'm getting emotional trying to write my comment . And poor Carol the look on her after she killed Lizzie was horrible she didn't want to do that and again I'm angry that Carol and Tyrese left them children alone I don't get it in the show everybody always leaving their kids alone they can't find them they're too far away from them yeah this episode was a big one until next time😭🥺

Jamarion Rich

And adison if carol did that to the group of course it would be different, but it wasn't. That is why it is always about perspective, it doesn't matter if you look outside the group, yuu cannot tell me, you would feel the same if a stranger and a family member died. you cannot tell me, you feel the exact same way when a stranger dies as to when a loved one died.

The Lazy Cajun

So backstory on Lizzie is they came from Florida and she was diagnosed with psychosis. Of course after the apocalypse there are no meds, therapists, and alternative treatments. Looking at the flowers was a form of bringing her back to reality. She was disturbed and I actually feel bad bc she is a child.

KayleeSabrina

Im just thinking couldn't they try find her medication tho? I know it's not readily found. But they have found specific meds before

Menia Battle

I was boo hoo-ing when I saw this episode, and I still cry every time I watch it. Carol did what needed to be done. Brandon, you were right, in my opinion. You would make a good leader so will you Addison.

Menia Battle

Guys sometimes y'all talk at the wrong times. It takes you out of the moment, and you miss the nuances of the scene. Just adding another comment. Now, Addison, the rules of engagement are long gone. There are no legal laws in this apocalypse. They all have been killing people and doing other things we wouldn't do in a nonapocalyptic world. In situations like this, we must do what is best for the group when there is a threat. Child or no child. Lizzie would have gotten worse, not better. There aren't any psych meds for her in this world. Carol made a tough decision, but it had to be made.

Lorionix

Carol felt guilt and Lizzy didn’t. She didn’t see anything wrong with what she did

Ericca Johnson

What Carol did was wrong. She thought she was saving everybody by doing what she did. Lizzie was sick. Her mind wasn’t right. But she couldn’t be helped in the world they live in. I believe they say that the first signs of a possible serial killer is killing animals. She not only fed animals to the walkers, but she tortured and killed them for fun. She told Tyrese that. There’s no way to help her. She didn’t think what she did was wrong. Carol was in denial at first, but I think after what Rick did and now seeing what her actions have done to Tyrese. She’s remorseful. She feels guilty and she has to live with that. She wouldn’t do that again. Given the chance Lizzie would kill more people, because she doesn’t see anything wrong about it.

Jaelyn Jones

Idk she would need some type of psych meds and how long would the supply last? I know from experience the withdrawal side effects for some of them are awful.

Tyrademi

When y’all wanted to recruit Lizzie at the beginning of this episode because of her footwork 🤣… I was about to say — have y’all lost your mind?? She’d invite them walkers to match point. She’s been too far gone for a minute. It was only a matter of time before she got someone killed. But letting her play with her sister one more time? That was out of line, Brandon. 🤣 Any other zombie — but not her sister. Leave lil Mika out of this mess.

Fara

"The Day Will Come When You Won't Be", i can't wait for THAT episode.

PVaughn

This episode is truly amazing. The actress that played Lizzie was fantastic. I love how TWD tackled this topic of handling mental illness in the apocalypse and as a child at that! Tyrese forgave Carol cause he saw that she is willing to do the hard things for the sake of the group. He should’ve of figured out Carol did it after she took out a child.

Steveo

Finding the right combination of drugs, the right supply and knowing how much to give in the middle of nowhere is a pretty hard task.

Steveo

She believed it at the time. Granted had it been one of her people (like Maggie, Glen, Herschel etc.) she wouldn't have done the same thing. So I think she was sorry but she was also a bit hypocritical.

Steveo

Sophia already died, why did you think that with this show? Even the first episode Rick shoots a dead walker child.

Konner Cragun

“I can hear them” there’s a theory that’s linked into season 9 from Lizzie saying this. IYKYK.

Konner Cragun

See that’s why I’m not mad at carol. She did kill people. It was to stop the virus from spreading throughout the prison. She was trying to protect everyone. Lizzie on the other hand is just bad shit crazy. Her mind is f’ed up. She didn’t kill to protect people, she killed to prove her ridiculous point.

Konner Cragun

I mean let’s face it. The governor did keep them away from zombies. They had zombie shows. But zombies never got in until the war started with Rick. I’ll give him credit for that. (Glad he’s dead tho) but Lizzie idk how or why she’s like this. Micah isn’t, she raised the same.

KayleeSabrina

Very hard. But I think I would try before shooting her in the same hour she did this ? However it is extremely hard decision I know but they could of found something to help in mean time before maybe one day finding a therapist or something! ... if all those efforts come to nothing then this sadly probably only option left..

Mark B

Addison has to stop looking at things so black and white…life now it’s black and white let alone in an apocalypse like this. There is no comparison to what Carol did which was (trying) to same lives and Lizzy who was going to kill many more people if left alive for the sake of having dead homies to chill with…she had to get up out of here immediately.

Sab

You should watch the originals . I feel like y’all two would like it!

jillian

Just friendly FYI, they were told this in post discussion 💜

Mate

I would have already killed Carol the first season

Avishai

Yeah way to black and white. Way too judgmental and assuming things are malicious when people are clearly acting in fear and ignorance. I feel like im watching his growth into a well rounded thinker and i like that tbh. Its what brings me to them. Brandon would already make a good flock leader tho lol

Nat

Man, this episode tore me up. Poor Michah. Sweet, sweet baby girl. Brandon, we haven’t been able to hear “Look at the flowers” the same for years bruh.

Funkystar

Didn’t you watch the video? The people literally ask for it tho🤷🏾‍♂️

EliG

So interesting. Means they all wandering around not too far from each other. Why Rick had not set up a meeting spot should things go bad at prison reckless!

EliG

There really was no other way!

Rylee

you need to chill fr

blugirlami21

I just don't think that's realistic where we are in the apocalypse right now or how mental illness works in general. Something was broken in her mentally. Probably was that way before people turned into zombies. She had a fundamental misunderstanding of what zombies are and what people are. No amount of meds was going to change that.

KayleeSabrina

I think ur right, its not the correct environment or time of apocalypse atm. I have lots of experience with psychosis (unfortunately)and medication is tremendous as well as therapy but yeah.. Just not right time. In just so sad is all lol

Jen M

That hoodie is wild! Lol. I actually have a Look At the Flowers tshirt and sticker.

Sabrina

Giving a kid her age the appropriate meds and dose so as not to harm her would take a highly specialized psychiatrist. Trying her out on different things until they figure out what works is dangerous for both Lizzie and the people she'd have harmed in the meantime.

Sabrina

I am SO curious to see Adison's reaction!

Samuel Daley

Bro you keep saying the lord! I get it but even in that moment, no matter how strong your faith is, the devil is winning. People are dying and coming back to life eating the living, kids innocence HAVE to be taken to survive, humans are reminded they are nothing in the face of terror. you can’t pray your way out of it in that world! Lizzi had to go, not just for killing her sister but for the safety of others. She’s seen zombies kill and eat loved ones, she’s an orphan because of the apocalypse, she spoke fluently and was convinced she understood. She’s was sick and had to go. I do agree with Brandon tho, I wouldn’t pull the trigger but watching her get bit will hurt way more.

Sabrina

I've worked at a psychiatric inpatient facility for several years with both kids and adults in crisis who are delusional, hearing voices and/or having urges to harm themselves and other people. Even in our current world there isn't much to be done for Lizzie. In an apocalyptic world with no resources -she will only get worse. Watching her 24/7 is not possible with zombies and enemies around to watch out for as well. People get comfortable, they let their guard down, and when they do someone else would have gotten hurt. She had to go. Super sad and nobody wanted that to happen to her, but it was necessary.

Diary of a Dragon

Wait Adison, you played Fallout? Damn, I wish I could see that in a gameplay 😊

N7

I had the exact same reaction with the Lizzie and mica situation

N7

Why?

N7

The “look at the flowers, Lizzie” line is one of the most popular lines in all of walking dead

trexgod 25gaming

It’s about to get sicker trust me big dawg this right here ain’t even worse

Nicol

doing ladder drills with zombies lmaooo

Jacena

woooooww…. I’m sick 😔😵‍💫

ThatGuyTrent

I can't even say what I'd do if I was in Tyreses situation, it's easy to think you know what you would do until you're actually in that situation. I've never had anyone murder the woman I love bc the killer thought they'd be saving more lives, that situation is so beyond me that I'm self aware enough to know I can't predict my reaction to that🤣

Ambar Lora

Addison, imma need you to stop seeing things so one sided lol

Isis Atlantis

This episode is one of them ones. When it aired I felt like I was kicked in the chest, and "Look at the flowers" was trending.

jasmin

lol everybody going would they do what carol did or not i woulda done what tyreese did🧍🏽‍♀️what was i thinking adopting this pasty family!smt woulda silently retreated like never before seen

jasmin

wow pediatric psych patients one population i never really worked with-and definitely not lizzie age!do you feel like the portrayal was accurate?cause i feel like it was but i don’t really know em like that-maybe i just really like her performance realistic or not

Mya Marie

That little girl had to go idc!!!

Mya Marie

There was no other way like be forreal!!

Brianna Pamplin

One of the most iconic episodes in the whole series.

Cleo Griffith

Ok Adison here a hug for what you just witnessed. Carol unaliving Lizzie. Lizzie had to go. We couldn't keep her alive, because as you saw she unalived her sister and was gonna go for Judith next or worst she would have brought walkers to our doorsteps. And we couldn't have anybody watching her 24/7/365 because we would need every able body to hunt fight and kill. I'm not a carol fan but in this I agree, I didn't/don't agree with the killing of Karen and David, messy I know lol. R.I.P Lizzie and Mica.

Dan

dont forget daryl and beth set fire to that house, thats probably the smoke

Holly (Taylor Smith)

You guys said it perfectly, in the real world you could've gotten her help. I have a child with mental illness and I am so thankful we have resources to help her. In an apocalyptic world like this there really is nothing you can do except protect those you can. Judith definitely would've been next. I have so much empathy for Carol who lost 3 daughters really.

Nae

I’m just now clueing in that the fire was probably from Daryl and Beth 😭😭 lmao the group was in the same area lowkey

SRGC1978

I really can’t stand Tyrese. Going on and on about Karen, whom he barely knew, and nothing about his own sister he is assuming is dead.

Krystal Santiago

Knowing Addison has seen the show before is actually so funny while watching the reaction 🤣 but I feel bad for Brandon 😅

gayjinchuriki

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bambi Mary Jane

He’s only seen a handful of episodes from early in the show I believe

Montae Williams

I think Lizzy having access to walkers at the prison helped her mind devolve. At Woodbury she hadn’t been exposed to them like that. Then the loss of their father and interacting w/walkers through the prison chain link fence - it was over. She was always going to end up being a danger to others. So sad

Montae Williams

I feel like Adison doesn’t understand mental illness and its severity. Lizzy killing Mica to show how walkers are nice/friendly and we ALL need to change (I.e. die) - there’s no evolving past that. Without medication, a padded cell & therapy she’ll only get worse. She’ll kill more people & the result is always going to be the same. Carol can learn / repent & reform. She can gain levels of understanding that Lizzy won’t ever be able to grasp. That’s the difference between the two situations. And the reason why she’s allowed to live. And you’ll see very soon it’s a good thing she lived.

Montae Williams

I’m mad at Carol for that bc it was stupid regardless of motive. But the difference between them is Carol can always learn. She learned immediately her actions did nothing helpful. Whereas Lizzy is incapable of mental change. Her brain had already devolved past the point of return at the prison being in constant contact with the walkers. It was over for her then. But at least they could’ve had the elderly keep an eye on her. Pad her cell and lock her in? lol idk

DuRagDell823

We can't compare wat Carol did n wat Lizzy did. Carol was doin wat she did to try n save everyone else from getting sick n dying. Lizzy was mental gone. She needs help n there's no1 around to help her. She gotta go. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Stefanie Anderson

If this show wasn't supposed to be post-apocalypse, then I'd absolutely say yes, Lizzie needs to get professional medical help. But there's no guarantee they will ever find a therapist or psychiatrist in their travels to help her, let alone one who specializes in helping children, and to have to watch her 24/7 when it's just Carol & Tyreese and they have a baby to look after, that only works for so long. I don't agree with Brandon that they should have let Mika bite her because that's just cruel. Lizzie needs help and can't get it, and she is a danger to everyone she comes across. She even told Carol that she was just about to do the same thing to Judith but she & Tyreese came back. I'm sorry but the world being the way it is in this show, they did the most humane thing they could for Lizzie. This type of mental disorder would have to be treated long-term and that's just not an option in the world Lizzie is living in unfortunately. It's sad but thems the breaks. They didn't lock her up, they didn't leave her to fend for herself and die slow and painfully. Comparing Lizzie & Carol saying if one died they both should have is insane to me because Carol didn't maliciously kill Karen. Karen already was going to die, and Carol did it quickly and painlessly as possible to save the whole group. Carol can change and is old enough to see the truth of what's going on. Lizzie would have gotten other people killed or killed them herself. Huge difference in the two.

Breezybaby

Unfortunately there was no situation where anyone was going to be safe with Lizzie around, she would never have changed. In this world you have to think about the greater good and leaving her alive was not it. She was broken with nobody around with the capabilities to fix her. I am in the 9% I think once I had time to think about the situation after all those people died after getting sick I couldn't necessarily say she was at fault for what she did when she got rid of Karen and David.

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

She doesn't have the skills or lack of feeling to be a psychopath, she is psychotic though

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Worst episode ? Nah great episode sad episode heavy episode and powerful episode. Carol did talk to Lizzie before about the walkers, and they didn't know she tried to smother Judith. Carol telling Tyrese she killed Karen out there as railroad storytime would have been endangering the kids. I love Mika so much I wish she could have made it. Ad the difference between Lizzie and Carol murdering was this: Carol was trying to deal with a pandemic medieval style in order to protect people VS Lizzie doing it for herself cuz she is crazy

JS310

This episode is sick, disgusting, horrifying, depressing, and for those reasons one of the best episodes ever of this show

isthatchrisk

Thats a silly theory. She literally just lost her mind and was broken

Theresa Minor

She literally said she was going to kill Judith next but they walked up. She had to die. Sorry, Carol made the right choice.

Lele O

Same! Lol

Jess Here

Carol made the right choice. Lizzy was dangerous and without medication she was only going to get worse. I know that from personal experience with myself. When your mind starts believing delusional things, nothing is going to change those beliefs. They just grow and branch out.

Jess Here

She had plans of killing all of them so they become just like the zombies. She had already said she could hear them talking telling her they wanted her to change. It wasn't going to be just her sister. 36:09 Usually it's Addison making those types of comments 🤣

Monica Avalos

I do too.. from when they first came out 💐🌻🏵️

Krystal Santiago

Nooo he’s seen the show lol he mentions in other reactions about Al… from like season 10 or 11 and ne……. lol it’s okay that he saw it I just wish he was more transparent about it

Munna

this ep messed brother adison up

Jamie Lashley

Also leave her behind locked somwhere maybe she escapes grow up and start a crazy and dangerous cult that turns people into them then come after the older cast for revenge 🤷🏿‍♂️ there was no way outa here getting got

revolves.round.AVA

he has? I watched the first episode on YT and I don't remember him saying that. If he's seen it why does he act so surprised?

revolves.round.AVA

I believe Lizzie shouldn't gotten yk deleted. The biting thing would've been too messy and harder to see.

revolves.round.AVA

Exactly, there is no comparison. Carol was trying to stop an outbreak, even though it was wrong. She wouldn't go around killing anyone for no reason or think zombies are monsters. Carol saw that it didn't work, so she wouldn't do it again. Lizzie is literally mentally sick, there is no helping that, There is no rationale with her.

* The title of the episode, "The Grove", refers to the survivors stumbling upon a house in a grove, and the events that happen there. * The episode's exact runtime is 00:46:26. * The song playing at the very beginning is "Maybe" by The Ink Spots. * Coincidentally, this song is also featured in the Fallout video game series, which also takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. Maybe is featured in the intro and outro of the original Fallout from 1997. Fallout's feral ghouls are similar to walkers, but they do not eat or infect human beings, nor are they undead (instead being irradiated mutated humans), and they also typically live in small isolated packs in rural and/or abandoned areas such as caves and collapsed buildings that generally leave others alone instead of travelling in massive hordes overrunning the former United States. * This episode confirms that Lizzie was feeding the walkers at the prison. Carol also reveals to Tyreese that she killed Karen and David and burnt their bodies. * The death of Lizzie has parallels to Lennie's death in Of Mice and Men. Both Lizzie and Lennie have difficulty understanding their actions and the world around them, Lizzie because of her psychosis and Lennie due to his learning difficulty. Lizzie believing that walkers want to be friends with her is similar to Lennie's habit of collecting dead animals as pets. Lizzie gets very upset when the walkers are killed, in the same way Lennie gets upset when he has a mouse taken from him. Lizzie kills her sister, as Lennie kills Curley's wife. Both are shot in the back of the head to spare them further anguish in a world they do not understand. Both are distracted by their killers by being told to focus into the distance. * In the Blu-ray version of this episode, Lizzie's body can be seen dropping after Carol pulls the trigger on her. In TV broadcasts, the camera lingers on Carol's reaction after shooting her then briefly cuts to a shot of Lizzie dead on the ground. * This is the second episode to feature only two main cast members, after S4EP12 "Still" * On Talking Dead, Melissa McBride (Carol) explained that the puzzle on the table was a picture of Sophia in her rainbow t-shirt. * This episode marks Rick's longest absence, it is the third consecutive episode where he does not appear in. Greg Nicotero explained Rick's absence was done to emphasize how split up the group was. * After this episode aired, Brighton Sharbino (Lizzie) and Kyle Kenedy (Mika) wrote and recorded a song called "Begin Again", which is based on the events of the episode. The song is currently available for purchase on iTunes. * The smoke that Carol and Tyreese smelt/saw, was the fire that Daryl and Beth started in S4EP12 "Still" * Judith doesn't appear with Carol and Tyreese because she was put into the knapsack on Tyreese's back to shield her from the cold weather. * The effects crew prepared an edible mouse prop for the train track walker to eat. It was gelatin stuffed with grape jelly. * Scott Gimple believes the walkers' decaying vision attracts them to fire. Fire represents two of the only things walkers can still see: light and movement

* When Carol and Tyreese talk about Lizzie, Carol winds the bandage four times around Tyreese's arm, there's no bandage left. In the next shot, it's wound three times and she repeats the fourth winding. * After the group lines up and shoots the burnt walkers, Carol and Lizzie hug. In the shot where they go in for the hug, Lizzies gun is in her left hand. When they close up on the hug, it's in her right, and then in her left again when they zoom out. * After Carol and Tyreese fill up the entire bucket with water, Carol picks it up with one hand effortlessly, indicating that the bucket might have been empty. * When Carol and Tyreese leave the house, they do not have Judith with them.

am i the only one that doesn't believe that Lizzie was sick back at the prison. i believe she just wanted to be in there to see the ppl under quarantine turn into walkers.

shemeka_blackscorpion

Yupp she probably wanted to go in there to watch people die and turn, the girl was twisted

Gracie's Revenge

Yes I do believe it was confirmed someplace that she was faking it because she wanted to be in there around all the sick people because so many of them were going to die and turn into walkers. Little noticed detail in the show.

Gracie's Revenge

Just therapy wouldn't have been enough. She needed medications, possible institutionalization. She was definitely ill before the apocalypse, that's why they knew those grounding techniques they used with her. She may've even been one of the very rare cases of childhood-onset schizophrenia. But she def had severe mental health problems. She was already torturing and killing animals, and when she (already) upgraded to killing people she killed her own sister and was going to murder a baby. In the pre-apocalypse she could've very easily turned out to be a sociopath at the very least, a serial killer as she has many of the childhood traits. You can't simply talk people out of illness like that. You can't read the Bible and 'pray it away' either. I'm sorry but that's just silly, prayer does NOT work for serious issues like Lizzies. She'd be hard to treat and care for before the fall. The apocalypse likely just escalated her issues quicker than normal. She no doubt would've ended up killing other innocent people or getting herself killed.

Gracie's Revenge

And Carol has severe trauma, and her own issues, but she is in no way mentally ill the way Lizzie was. Lizzie has legitimate problems, possibly even chemical imbalances and anatomical defects in her brain that cause this type of erratic, schizo-affective type behavior. She was sick before the Turn. She was torturing and killing animals, graduated to killing people, and would NOT listen or could not understand what people told her about walkers. She valued walkers lives more than living peoples'. What Lizzie did had nothing to do with anything Carol ever taught Lizzie or said to her, and the two girls can NOT be compared. Carol has love and compassion and remorse, you can see it all over her face, while Lizzie did not.

Gracie's Revenge

To be fair, at the time of her death they'd all been together at the prison for what in reality was likely at least around 8 months, and he knew her before that at Woodbury. So they may've actually been dating a while when she died. (I know time gets messy in the show, and they elude that the timeframe is much shorter but if you go by realistic seasons, the time of year they are in, how planted and grown Rick's crops were, and even by the Governor's long hair length and beard when we first caught up to him, it's been a while)

Gracie's Revenge

I don't think Lizzie was from Woodbury. During the break between seaasons 3 and 4, off-screen a lot of other people were brought in to the prison. Random people wandering, like Bob, there was mention of people (David) from a group of people from Decater, Georgia. But I do think the more Lizzie interacted with walkers it did help feed her already-there delusions.

Gracie's Revenge

Thank you for your input. So many people, like poor Addison, don't really get the severity of an issue like Lizzie's. She was definitely being treated before the Turn, hence them having the de-escalating techniques and stuff. She def needed therapy, meds, and possible in-facility care. That's not possible in that world. I don't care if she's a kid, she is dangerous. I personally think even in the normal world she may've ended up being a serial killer, as she already had many of the childhood traits (torturing and killing animals, lack of empathy/sympathy, delusional thinking, etc). It's just a yikes situation but they could not have her around. Hell, she was about to make baby Judith a crawler!

Gracie's Revenge

Yep. I love that the boys, esp Ad are men of faith, but you gotta be realistic. There are things that cannot be 'prayed away'. There are times and things that going to church and reading the bible are NOT going to fix. Lizzie likely had actual physicial abnormalities in her brain, you can't pray and make that better, face reality man. I'm not saying all that couldn't be part of a treatment plan for her, and it may be helpful to a degree....in the NORMAL world. But she'd still require meds, real therapy, and possibly institutionalization as well as pretty much constant supervision. You can't do that in the zombie world, for real.

Gracie's Revenge

Montae would you trust Lizzie with your grandma? I get what you're saying but she could hurt the older people. Ya in the prison you could've locked her up in a cell and had her live there forever. She'd be safe, fed, alive and others would be safer. I mean, it wouldn't be a good quality of life but there is no other option for her.

Gracie's Revenge

Yes prior the the apocalypse Lizzie had already been diagnosed with being psychotic (some form of psychosis/schizoeffective disorder) and she was recieving treatment. She couldn't just take a pill and be ok. She would need likely more than one med, many of them at that level requiring bloodwork to monitor blood levels, she'd also need intense therapy as well as probably 24hour supervision and would've likely ended up in a facility. She was dangerous. And she had many of the early hallmarks they find in serial killers. All the big ones, they were there.

TIA

Oh my goodness. I knew I clocked it too. He’s mentioned it in so many other videos like he really knew the walking dead world. And im sorry when he mentioned Rosita in the twilight reaction Brandon said I don’t know her I stopped watching the walking dead while the boy was still young and Addison didn’t say me too. I’m convinced he watched the entire series before this. It’s all just so over the top. And shooting down Brandon’s genuine first time takes after having time to think through is interesting. At times it’s funny and other times it’s just annoying like in this episode.

corey garceau

she would probably slit someone throat when they are sleeping no way i would be comfortable with her in my group. a few episodes back she covered baby Judith's mouth if carol didnt find them probably would have killed the baby just to keep it quiet.

Trying to justify your crazy thoughts by comparing two completely different situations is wild. You should be a politician with the way you spin things. Saying there must be a better way of dealing with Lizzie without giving real options or thinking it through. Saying we must watch this kid 24/7, so now we wasting peoples lives instead of their life having meaning and being productive. So many holes in the thought process (or lack of thought processes) All just to make sure you seem above everyone else.
