how can you not support rick taking out bob. rick was noting but polite last time him and this bob spoke then bob went out of his way to attack sasha and took off running. bob had no plan he didnt even go back for his fellow cops he just took off running presumably to make it back to warn his people... rick gave him chance after chance to stop running and didnt. for all they have seen before our group cant take risks on people. sasah could have been killed and had rick brought bob back there is no grantees he doesn't try something again but worse. im sorry yall but bob got himself killed and rick did what he had to do.

Cwen W.

been waiting for this

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Just got back from seeing the Ballerina and didn't know Daryl(NormanReedus) was back doing movies 😆

Cwen W.

we gon skip over adison singing “bob, beans, green, tomatoes” ?? 😭😭

vanessa

in the beginning i get why rick did that bc why you running, who are you running to or trying to possibly warn about the plan they got in place? he was trying to trade them not kill them so bro kind of did it to himself ngl.. i personally would’ve just brought him back for the trade but i feel like rick just fed up at this point and isnt gonna keep taking chances on ppl

Acacia

Rick is an absolute beast this season, doesn’t rlly surprise me that he killed bob. Especially if bob attacks a group member, takes off running, and soils the chances given to him to survive 🤷‍♀️

Lauren Nicole

He said "stop. Stop! Stop, I won't ask again." He just followed through. * But yes! That's 100% true. They were going to have the actor do it (the actor isn't her father) But he felt uncomfortable with it and was afraid he might hurt her accidentally. So they had her real father step in, and that's why the scene is shot so weirdly. You don't see any wide full shots with the actor holding her head and neck. All you see is zoom in on actor's face, then zoom in on hands holding Judith, then back to zooming in on the actor's face. Lol. They did a good job cutting it together, and they knew nobody was going to notice those weren't his specific hands. Lol.

Rindamarie

After returning home from the gun range, I still had my pistol on my hip. I saw a large spider on the wall, and I pulled my gun without thinking. I caught myself before pulling the trigger. I get that automatic reaction from Dawn, just like Daryl had the same reaction! I wasn't a fan of how Beth went out. A lot of fans have said Maggie forgot about Beth this season. After Rick, Darryl spent most of season 2 looking for Sophia, Maggie should have been getting the crew to look for Beth.

Cleo Griffith

I’m catching you guys tomorrow the good Lord’s willing.

KING Guyton

You guys have to understand, Rick THIS SEASON is not taking chances with anybody. Rick in season 5 is acting a lot like Shane did

2026-09-07 16:00 The move by Beth was so stupid and unnecessary . Rick couldve signaled something to the other two officers and they could’ve turned the tables on dawn so that they could get Noah. Damn was unliked and outnumbered

Landon

How you can’t support Rick doing that when that man literally knocked Sasha out and is laying there telling the man that they all gonna die

🕷️🕸️spiderbih🕸️🕷️

The only problem was the weapon of choice being something we view as weak in that specific situation. A pocket knife for instance would have done way more damage if used the exact same way, but what I think some fail to realize is Dawn already had that trigger finger ready so she would’ve reacted that way to an attack with any weapon including a gun. The only instance where it would have been an even playing field is if Beth had a gun also, but I’m sure she only wanted Dawn to get hurt which is why she targeted her specifically instead of initiating a gun fight between her group and theirs.

Ryùuzaki

What Beth did was very selfish. She knew she was gonna die (Kinda wanted to) and she nearly took all her friends with her. Stabbing someone in the middle of a hostage trade? With both sides fully gunned?

Cole hauser

This was actually the first major time when most audience members thought it was a pointless death. However, having seen this episode throughout the years, I feel like this was the definitive moment where going violent would’ve probably worked out better mostly because I feel like Beth did that to try and free Noah. Trying to go the peaceful route just doesn’t work that well anymore and I feel like that was what those experiences that they have just gone through was meant to show them that agreed peace isn’t always on the table and sometimes you have to go out of your way and be the savage. Sure an argument can be made that Noah could’ve just simply stayed, but he would’ve been enslaved and abused. Rick had a thought out plan that sure could’ve gone bad but you have to take to account. Noah has been at that hospital for so long that he knows the people and their ways by heart. Yet Tyrese tried to claim a peaceful outcome to somebody who knows who they are. That would’ve been like Merle showing up at the prison in season 3 talking about the governor before the group met him, but Daryl who hasn’t even met him speaks and pushes for peace with the governor. All of this to say, I truly believe Rick’s plan wasn’t necessarily right, but I believe Beth would’ve lived. I do like that Daryl is the one who pulls the trigger killing Dawn though because Beth was like a little sister to him who gave him hope in a hopeless survival situation. Another way to look at this situation also is that was the first time they attempted a peaceful resolution since the prison and one of their group members died and Beth dying and Daryl killing Dawn allowed everybody else who was a prisoner there or not loyal to Dawn to leave if they wanted. Further proving that Rick’s attack could’ve worked in their favor because of those not loyal as Noah had also mentioned. Currently we’re hitting a point in their survival where the Carol season 4 perspective is the way of thinking where it’s not about right or wrong it’s “did it work or did it not work?” Because you can’t be a communityless survivor who’s not willing to kill to survive as well as expecting others to be as reasonable as you’re willing to be because It’s survival of the fittest not who is the kindest.

Cole hauser

I would actually argue that it was an attempt to free Noah being why Beth did that. She knew he was gonna get abused again and she knew he wasn’t gonna ever be able to leave ever again. So in that moment, I believe she did that in an attempt to kill Dawn and free anybody who didn’t want to stay there if they didn’t have to however, she died, and Daryl killed her. Which in my mind further pushes Rick and Noah’s attack mentality because even after Dawn died, it showed that a lot of them didn’t even like her and they probably would’ve joined in overthrowing and killing Dawn as Noah had mentioned. So at the end of the day, I would argue that Tyrese is at fault because he pushed for a peaceful resolution on top of info given by Noah who would’ve known that hospital group better than anyone and has been with them for months. Dawn felt like a situation of you can’t expect reason from the unreasonable..

Cole hauser

Which is why I think Noah and Rick’s attack idea would’ve worked better. Who knew that group more than Noah. The outcome even showed that an attack would’ve likely begun a coup against Dawn where even her people overthrow her with Rick as Noah had mentioned. I believe it was Tyrese trying to push for a peaceful resolution that caused what happened to happen. Mostly because I feel like Beth did that knowing that Noah was going to once again be enslaved never able to leave ever again. Dawn was so focused on maintaining her power that she felt like a situation of you can’t expect to reason with the unreasonable.

Owlie

I always get so annoyed when the hospital people offer for them to stay like why even ask after all that?? We just gonna sit here and act like none of that happened.

Ryùuzaki

I agree that she did it to save Noah, but she did not think it through. What did she expect exactly by stabbing someone holding a gun with tiny scissors to their shoulder (She was aiming for her heart but wasn't even close). If she thought about for just a little bit more she would've realized that once someone shoots one bullet, everyone might. Meaning Noah will probably die so you're not saving him, Carol can barely move so she probably dies too. Rick is in the frontline as well. Did she have good intention? Yeah sure. Was what she did extremely stupid? Very much so. Stupid and good intentions is not a good combo and can make one selfish sometimes because they don't think stuff through. You might want to help someone and go about it wrong then end up hurting them.

Austin Hogan

A Wife beater Crazy scientist dude those people going to Nebraska/randal best friends the governor/ followers and the termite people eaters the Claimers and finally the piggies

Cole hauser

And I can agree with that, especially with the way it went. However, had they gone through with the attack that Rick wanted then Beth wouldn’t have had to even try. Mostly because everybody who was with Rick would’ve been after Dawn and any support of hers which would’ve at most been maybe 3-7 people. Also, we have to take to consideration. Beth has not killed a single human the whole show and also very few walkers. Had she gone for Dawns neck It probably would’ve worked better for her (during this peaceful attempt). However, being unexperienced she of course messed up and died, which proved Rick and Noah’s attack idea would’ve probably worked and shattered Tyrese’s peaceful resolution attempt because you can’t reason with somebody who’s going to and known to be unreasonable.

😭😂

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Beth's death is one of the most pointless in the series. It was just for shock that's all. I won't post spoilers of course but there are only a couple others that piss me off more than hers. And seriously she wasn't my favorite character or anything, but her story being all cut short like that after episodes featuring her...it was just horrible writing. I DO think she wanted to try and free Noah either through sacrafce or signaling to the others and fight...but I DONT believe this character as much as she has grown would have stabbed her with bandage scissors. And the writers were just trying to shock people. Oh you like this character now? Boom lights out

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

100% You almost said his quote 😆 "I don't take chances anymore"

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Hun...you go put your pistol away before you shoot holes in your walls 😂 Maggie should have absolutely been pushing to search for Beth

Queen S

Hi Adison hi Brandon I think Rick has taken on some of the characteristics of Shane I remember when Shane was telling him you can't always be the good guy and that's true in some situations especially in the world that they living in because since Shane has died things have gotten a whole lot worse our group has been through a lot the governor people trying to kill them and eat them. I feel really bad for Maggie and Daryl bad for Maggie because she just got the news of her sister was alive and Daryl because he wanted to save her so bad she helped him get through a lot when they was in that cabin when she told him to burn his past and she sat there and she told him you're going to miss me so bad when I'm going Daryl Dixon😭

Feather Noir

If they had gone with the attack route, perhaps even more people could've died including both Beth AND Carol who were behind enemy lines. Additionally, perhaps the exchange would've been fine if the Rick hadn't killed Cop Bob and they had 3 people to trade instead of just 2 like Daryl said last ep, thereby removing Dawn's justification for trying to keep Noah. Or maybe Dawn would've come up with a different excuse either way because it was always about her power-tripping, as we all know. All this is coulda-shoulda-woulda when ultimately the exchange wasn't really the problem it was that both Dawn and Beth changed the terms of engagement based on their own personal vendetta against each other. And they both paid the price for it.

Cole hauser

Which I don’t doubt from the perspective of pre-completion. However, post completion of it (peaceful as Tyrese wanted) emphasizes that a lot of them didn’t even like dawn and were actively thinking about how they could overthrow her predicated off the fact that Beth literally had to help Dawn not get overthrown and kill a guy and after Beth and Dawn died the female officer said to stop and nobody continued to shoot because nobody was truly loyal to Dawn. It is true that in Ricks path a lot of them could’ve possibly died and it is a case of should’ve would’ve could’ve. However, completion of the peaceful path (which had should’ve would’ve could’ve choices within it) showed that pretty much nobody liked Dawn in general anyway. Showing that a lot of them would’ve supported Rick with Noah alongside him going through the Hospital. Still yes this is a should’ve would’ve could’ve, but the result of the peaceful path proved the should’ve would’ve could’ve was actually a probably and most likely instead of a should’ve would’ve could’ve for Ricks path. Precisely because Noah of all people knows how those people act and knows who does and does not support Dawn which was little to nobody. After the death of Dawn everybody who was in the hospital act with a form of freedom almost immediately feeling as open as to not argue against immediately asking Ricks entire group to stay if they want despite Daryl just shooting Dawn in the face. Where Dawn would’ve never even considered the thought unless they stay forever and would’ve killed them for killing even one of their own to keep power and the favor of her people. On top of that it’s apparent that Dawn isn’t even reasonable which Noah of course should know. So based on Tyrese’s belief of the peaceful outcome how do you expect to reason with somebody who is clearly known to be and is unreasonable? Especially because their methods were basically “we see you, we hit you with our car, and now you’re our slave because we saved you from an attack that was our fault and used resources on you and also you can never leave.” The female cop even says “this was just about her” when stopping the other officers from firing and that was enough to get nobody to shoot even if that was about Beth instead of Dawn. So yes and in a should’ve would’ve could’ve mentality, Rick‘s path would’ve more than likely worked with Noah at his side.

The Golden Adonis

I have a problem with Brandon tryna challenge me because why he have to have the arms out like that. Ion like det. lol. Great reaction

Ashleigh

Adison…. You’re gonna have a tough time with the rest of this series if you can’t see why Rick needs to be a savage rn 😂

Ashleigh

Father Gabriel pissed me off so much this season

Jessica Evans

I hate how she died but I get why beth did it, ever since the farm she's always been looked after, everytime she's been in trouble, she's had to have been saved and I think the comment dawn made to beth about being useless and always needing to be saved stuck with her, I think it made beth feel weak knowing she was once again saved by the group and to show dawn she's capable, she stabbed her.

Ryan Cumming

Brandon's face when "he hit the gas like that" 😳🤣

Shawanda

I didn't like how directors took Beth out like that. It was pointless. All that character development went to waste. Great reaction. Looking forward to next episodes. You guys are in for a wild ride.

David James

"all the character development for nothing" eh. I think characters unceremoniously dying is one of the more interesting parts of zombie fiction.

Tyrademi

It took Beth 4.5 seasons to toughen up. She grew on me and now we’ve lost her. This episode reminds me of Arya (GOT) about to be reunited with her mother and brother — but then… we all know how that ended. In this situation, Maggie is Arya. My heart breaks for Daryl and Rick. I know Rick feels like he’s failed Hershel.

brandy.

yeah agreed. And also to add to that - usually the character development has an arc that teaches a lesson to us, the other characters, or just provides emotion within itself. Not eveything has to have a "satisfying" happy ever after ending - and not all characters who will die are insignificant, if that makes sense.

Mikel Swart

So old Bob was Thumb Thumb New Bob I will call BBB. Broke Back Bob

Faith

A bad decision on Beth's part that costed her her life. They could have easily left then snuck back in to get Noah. There definitely would have been a few more black eyes in store for Noah until they would have been able to do that. Dawn would have definitely gave him a few for escaping. RIP Beth. Just wished you hadn't done what you did.

Matthew Tallent

The guy who played Martin wasn’t the Baby’s actual father. But they did get her actual father to do the scene with the hands around the neck. Thats why his face was never shown during that scene.

Rindamarie

It was a big spider! 😂 it scared the crap out of me.

EliG

Adison/Brandon - would you have left hospital and gone off with our gang? Looking mighty dirty, disheveled, unhinged and super armed. Meanwhile all spick-and-span at the hospital and they had strawberries! Electricity somehow. (Back up generators lasting years?!) Line from Station 11 - "to the monsters we're the monsters."

EliG

Maybe Rick had the better plan. They went with Tyrese/Daryll kumbaya everybody-gets-to-live plan. Listen to Rick people!

EliG

For a spider?! Yikes. :)

Monica

He was in The Bikeriders with Tom Hardy last summer too.

lily mccann

Rick said to go back to Terminus and finish and he said to go in blasting at that hospital. He was right both times. No cops there were good because they let bad things happen and were all delusional. It would have just been them going crazy together if they didn’t drag others into it by kidnapping. They wanted servants, victims, and a false sense of purpose.

lily mccann

Also Martin’s actor refused to put his hands around the baby’s neck so her real father did it.

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Yea mainly because he was always filming the Walking Dead. He did like 1 independent film with Anthony Macky called Triple 9 which they shot in Atlanta back in 2016. Good movie btw 👌🏾

EliG

BUT after death of Cop Bob, Darryl pushed the idea with Rick that it didn't change anything and they could still go ahead with "let's give peace a change" approach. Rick was ready to go with his plan, which involved some killing from jump.

EliG

There's wasn't a lot of time between Terminus and Church. HOWEVER, Maggie searched for Glenn with nary a word about Beth and then was heading to DC!

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

a lot of people mention how beth’s death was pointless, and i agree…but i think that’s the point. in this type of world, people would make stupid decisions & mistakes and that could cost you your life. some people would die and be killed for no good reason. it’s an apocalypse so not every death will be warranted or righteous or justified. that’s how i took it at least 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ash Lee Can

The only reason anyone died was because . Tyrese had an absokute fair point. All it would take is someone getting spotted. Look what happened. Even Noah corroborated. The plan failed completely because of BETH. She thought she had something to prove and be Billy Badass and got the top of her head blown off in response. Dawn didn't even mean to shoot Beth, it was just a reflex to literally being unexpectedly attacked and stabbed. Rick's way would have almost guaranteed someone getting hurt because all it would take is for one to get spotted and the situation gets hot with no direction. Not to mention the innocent people that could which are a loy of weak people who can't defend themselves (the whole reason they were kept in the first place) Tyrese's way was fine for the most part. It would have saved lives if it wasn't for Beth's actions and the only ones who DID lose their lives were the two that haf the direct and the only two that attacked, which were deliverately directed towards each other. No one else got hurt outside of their actions. Even with Bob, they did want to risk and with fair reasoning. They literally. Glenn literally almost just hot the back of his. They that every single last one of Team Family made it out without barely a damn scratch was a blessing. To them, going right back into danger after the universe let them beat odds like that is like playing universe's face and asking for you to lose people. That's like escaping Michael Myers and then right back to run the fade. The only person we allow something stupid as hell as that is Jamie Lee Curtis and that was 20 years in the making. This ain't that. We don't know how many Termites were still alive. They have an armory full of weapons (Carol was only able to get Rick's python and Daryl's crossbow). Sure, we had guns hidden, but I'm certain they had a lot more in their community. There were about 11 people (sans Carol & Tyrese). Rick would most likely make Carl sit out. Eugene's out. Abraham is probably not letting just Carl guard Eugene, so he's probably out. So, now you're down to 8 people. Again, Rick would most likely have them split up, which . That's putting a HIGH risk of losing a lot of your people. Compare that losing the 1 they eventually ended up losing by creating distance and getting their bearings? They got Bob because he went outside in the middle of the night. They most likely would have had AT LEAST two people on watch while they slept in the church, so it would have been much harder to pull an attack with everyone inside without someone knowing. Even with them getting Bob and being alerted of their presence, which Rick had already been aware of because Daryl & Carol sensed they were being watched the night before, they were able to come up with a well thought out plan to eliminate without losing anymore people. That sounds a lot better than what very well could have been a d for less risk. Rick has most of Team Family together and well(physically aleast) and both of his children are alive, breathing, and in his arms after everything they all been through. I say they got off well and easy, all thing considered, so I don't see how Rick is somehow declared to have been right, when his ways had much higher chances of having the outcome result far worse than what we got, which were moreso by chances and the actions of others(Bob & Beth). Losing 2 out 15 people in the span of like maybe 4-5 days with everything that happened sounds like almost unbeatable odds.

Ash Lee Can

Rick's plan had a much higher chance of getting people killed. Even Noah knew that and he lived in that facility so he knew how both each officer, including Dawn, and facility operated better than all of them. It's easier to side with Rick's idea when you don't see how it ended up playing out, when the odds of that working was a lot lower and way more deadly than what they got. Same as the plan to go back a kill the Termites. The fact they all hot out alive in the first place was a miracle, and going back to out themselves a high risk like that had a higher chance of getting a lot of them, if not all killed by doing that. In the end, all they lost was Bob, who only got snatched up because he was outside all alone, and he was going to die anyways. Tyrese plan DID work. Beth didn't make it out because of Beth. That was HER fault. Nobody else's...

Jacena

I haven’t teared up on this series yet… but this?! 😭

Samuel Daley

This was the first episode to ever make me cry for a tv show. The fact they found her, got her and lost her in less than 10mins did something to me but yes she caused her own death.

Fellerz

The last thing Daryl told Maggie was that Beth was still alive just gone. So, Maggie was just hoping Beth was Alive out there somewhere so that's why she wasn't too worried. I think they killed Beth off here because the Actress wanted to focus more on her music career so the killed her off

girlboss

I genuinely think it was weaponized "Suicide by Cop." I think Beth's stay at that damn hospital was not great for her wellbeing or her mental health. It brought back feelings of hopelessness and everything being out of her control. I believe her sitting over the elevator was her really thinking about jumping. Her words to Dawn that this life is all they have left now and it's all that matters were pretty significant considering what she does at the end of the episode. She stabbed Dawn knowing it would force Dawn to kill her, and in turn force Rick's group to kill Dawn. This frees Noah and gives Beth her way out.

WheatThinDabs

Rip Beth but she 100% caused her own death she got shot because she stabbed the cop while she had a gun in her hand

Ambar Lora

Exactly! We’ve been through too much to start letting stuff slide now like???

Ashleigh

Great take…. Hmm I guess she still took her out in the end

White Rabbit

Have you seen "the talking dead" episode that aired after this one, that actress was heartbroken she was written off the show. I don't think she chose to leave. Her death was used for shock value by the writers for the mid season finale of season 5, those if us who watched while it aired had to wait ten weeks for the next episode. They did that sh.. on purpose.

vceisdead

damn thank you for spoiling GOT.... on a Walking Dead video.

vceisdead

honestly I think we need some "pointless" deaths. Not everyone has to have a top of the world hero death, and we dont need anymore of the cast being a part of the Walking Dead MCU we have rn

vceisdead

exactly. Rick learned his lesson

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

It was pointless from a writing perspective. It doesn't give or take growth, they just wanted to shock people. It's considered one of the most stupid deaths in the franchise. A show never needs bad writing.

Constantdev

I'm on "Martin"s side as per usual

Nancy KD

I never looked at it like that, but it makes a lot of sense. She had suicidal ideation since season two. I don’t know if I fully agree with it because I think she would have wanted to see Maggie again, but I do really like your explanation of what Beth might have been going through in that moment and the moments leading up to it.

Tyrademi

Which ended 6 years ago 🫣

Fellerz

Yea i watched it when it aired and watch the live show. She wasn’t heartbroken lmao she was just crying because of her fans. She could’ve been “act crying” all we know. She was working on an album and wanted to focus on her music. And her storyline was pointless so I wasn’t shocked when she died

VirgosGrooveXO

I’m so weak 😂😂. Going from the last episode where you said “next time I see you I’m gonna have to 💀 you” and Rick did EXACTLY that to the cop Bob and now you can’t support what he did 🤣🤣🤣. Omg yall are so funny lol. But Beth was just trying to stand up for what’s right and rebel again Dawn and her power trips. And honestly I don’t think she cared what would’ve happened to her in that moment

Allure

Im sorry, none of those cops were good or innocent people. The cops were sexually abusing the young women in the hospital and bullying/mistreating the rest. They were abusing their power to the MAX. In my opinion, none of them deserved to live….

JS310

Definitely some deliberate parallels in this episode between Rick and the cop lady. Both had to kill their friend who "lost their way" and take over control of the group, and then both seemingly turn more like the old friend they killed. With Beths death, I was fuming when I first watched the show because it really felt pointless lol, but I guess it mimics real life in the sense a lot of people really do die at such random and unfair times. Shit can come outta nowhere

Crazy Taco

Lmaooooo yall getting disappointed at ol boys dive got me Rollin

Cleo Griffith

R.I.P. Beth. Beth should have gone for Dawn's eye, at least get some damage done.

Stefanie Anderson

Beth dying was probably the second most unexpected death of the series for me. It was so quick, so unexpected, etc. that I was shocked. To the point Adison made about how there were guns available so Beth shouldn't have stabbed Dawn with the scissors - I think that a gun was too impersonal in Beth's mind. A bullet to her head means instant death, no suffering, no nothing. Dawn didn't deserve a quick death after what she let slide. And also, if Beth had walked up to her with a gun out she wouldn't have gotten close enough to do anything, or if she did, then the followup to that could have potentially been a shoot out in the hallway where multiple people on both sides could have been hurt or killed. I don't think Beth's death was her own fault in the grand scheme - because as everyone said and saw, Dawn didn't shoot her intentionally or in retaliation, it was simply a reflex/instant reaction that she didn't have time to think about. Daryl crying always breaks me, so I always tear up at this episode, but also - major props to Lauren Cohan who plays Maggie - because no matter how many times I watch this episode since it's release almost 11 years ago now, when she sees Daryl carrying Beth out and she drops to the ground and screams, I end up sobbing uncontrollably. She is a phenomenal actress.

Peter

RIP Beth. I remember this was the first time I cried gor anybody dying especially after seeing Daryl cry. A shame.

AJ

Crash out Rick is my fave arc of the series

Camillionaire

Beth dying like that made no sense. I think it reeks of bad writing. She was too close to being back home. I agree what with ya'll her weapon of choice was not worth the risk. RIP Beth! She was a real one!

CRAIG

Rick fed up fr, I feel him tho after everything he been through... not saying it's right but it ain't wrong either, cause and effect is all this is now, just consequences

La Toya Sheri

I feel rick fr. He been thru that bull

shemeka_blackscorpion

Im sorry adison but I couldn't be in the apocalypse with you lol you would try to spare everybody's life even when we're in danger or in a war lol you would say we need to hear them out... especially after you felt like Carol shouldn't have killed Lizzy

everydaynegroes

Aye so long as you know I’m not out there tryna kill any and everybody I see. 🤷🏾‍♂️ -Adison

shemeka_blackscorpion

😂😂😂 I feel you adison but some people you can't reason with...

Austin

* The title of the episode, "Coda", comes from the Portuguese word cauda, meaning "tail", and also means "tail" directly from the Italian word coda. Merriam-Webster defines Coda as: * A concluding musical section that is formally distinct from the main structure. Beth was the only character so far that resorted to anything musical on the show. * A concluding part of a literary or dramatic work. * Something that serves to round out, conclude, or summarize and usually has its own interest. * All of these definitions describe an ending, in other words, the title could possibly refer to the end of Season 5A, as well as Dawn's regime in the hospital, Beth's life, and the group's time in Georgia. * In the scene where Rick and Daryl aim their guns, there is a sign behind them that says "5th floor". This is a reference to The Boondock Saints, where Norman Reedus' character Murphy MacManus lived in a studio apartment on the 5th floor. Their stance is also similar to the MacManus brothers in scenes from the film. * This is the first time Morgan has appeared in more than one episode in a season. * Rick says "Can't go back, Bob" while speaking to officer Lamson shortly before he kills him. This line was also spoken by Gareth to Bob Stookey in S5EP1 "No Sanctuary" as a response to Bob's plea to take a chance on getting Eugene to Washington. * Following Beth's death in this episode, an uproar on social media with fans sending hate mail and death threats to Scott Gimple along with boxes of plastic spoons being sent to the AMC studios (a reference to the silver Washington D.C. spoon Beth found) was commenced. A Change.org petition titled "Bring Beth Back" was also created and has collected over 60,000 signatures in only 3 months and was even discussed on Good Morning America. * Beth's death was spoiled by AMC, who posted a picture of Daryl carrying Beth's corpse on their Facebook page. This act was negatively received by people who had not watched the episode yet in the West Coast, Europe and South America. * Originally, according to Greg Nicotero, there were supposedly 800 walkers involved in the aftermath of Beth's demise, specifically for this episode, but it was cut off for unknown reason(s). * This is the second episode to contain a post-credits scene, after S5EP1 "No Sanctuary".

Austin

* When Rick is in pursuit with Bob in the car, a Ford logo can be seen on the front of the car. In the scene after Rick hits Bob, the Ford logo can no longer be seen. * When Rick was talking to two officers about trading two of their officers for Beth and Carol, Sasha and Tyreese covered Rick from the top of the parking garage behind him. In the shot with Rick after Sasha snipes an approaching walker, Tyreese and Sasha were not visible on top of the parking garage even though that was where they were. * When Father Gabriel escapes from the church, he inadvertently kills a walker with the machete he left in the floorboard, as it splits the walker's head open near the handle. However, when he leaves the church, the blood is on a the end that was stuck in the floorboard, not where the walker fell. * When Carl and Michonne kill the walkers stuck on the spikes and seal the remaining walkers inside the church, one of the walkers killed had a long crowbar stuck in its head. Carl and Michonne used no such weapon to defend themselves against the small herd. * When Dawn and Beth are discussing the photo of Hanson, in some shots, the picture is facing Beth, but in others, it's perpendicular to her. * In the first shot of the scene where Father Gabriel explains where he went, he is on the left (facing the church), but in the next shot, he's on the right. * During the after credits scene where Morgan kills the disabled walker, you can clearly see the walker blinking as it was being stabbed. * When Dawn kills Beth the enhance wound is on the forehead, however she was shot under the chin. * When Rick walks out of the hospital, he walks away to the right. Later on when the panel zooms out as Daryl carries Beth out, Rick appears on the left. * When Daryl carries Beth out, you can see Rosita move to the left behind Abraham to prevent 'blocking' for the camera. * The rabbit foot Morgan sets down on the altar is blue, however in a later episode it is shown to be a tannish color.

Beth's death gets me every time and i think she knew she was probably going to die when she stabbed the cop with those small ass scissors and she stabbed her anyway.

i have only made it to the end of season 6 but i think the saddest moment is the lori death reaction her death itself wasnt too bad but rick's reaction to it hit me hard.

All right look I know I’m late. Well, I’m really not because I watched this reaction when it first came out, but I’m re-watching it and actually listening to the end. Shane might have been on the same type of timing Dawn was on if it’s about power. Shane tried to SA Lori when they were at the CDC.
