Harmony

Yay!!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Goat_S456

WHOOOHOOO. So excited, moreeee walking dead pleaseeee. We got so many and spinoffs to get throughhhh lol

Marco

If you didn’t notice when Rick was talking to Morgan he said “I ask, you answer it’s common courtesy right?” That was exactly what Morgan said to Rick when he met him in episode 1. Just a lil subtle callback. Btw Michonne 100% took one of Morgan’s protein bars lmao.

Marcella Kicks

Seeing your ‘yay’ each post makes me smile 😊

Ayruzii

I am not prepared, bro 😭😭😂

Danielle

Let’s goooooo ! 😩😩😩

Alphonso

TWD and the vikings is all I need

Marcella Kicks

I personally love the arc for 7&8 ❤️👌🏻

TheOnly Will

Welp the end of this season gonna be tuff🤧

KING Guyton

Rewatching this episode made me realize just how underrated this season premiere is

BRAN BALL

Duh duh duhhhhhh The era we all have absolutely been waiting for and not at the same time

Shawanda

Yeah buddy. Season 6. Thanks for the upload. Looking forward to the next few reactions. It gets even better from here.

Faith

Don't be messing with Judith! Lol

Latinblu

Problem with the fire idea is that the walkers are also attracted to flames, as we’ve seen before. A fire attracts more walkers and the fire will eventually go out .

Queen S

Let me come in on this one I knew OKC was going to take it I'm just saying

Queen S

Hey guys thanks for the reaction we in season 6 it's getting ready to get real good you guys have to do the next one please❤️

Rae

This the season with absolutely no chill. It's up from here on out.

Reilly

You can’t Molotov your way out of 1000+ walkers, even if you could are you willing to risk the fuel needed for that? You can’t kill them 1 by 1 unless you want a designated team to kill them as they come out from the truck, that’ll take weeks of fighters not going on runs or helping the homestead or protecting it

Jen M

The other black dude (bald one) is Sasha’s real life husband

Jen M

The protein bar drama was one of my favorite mini storylines. Michonne did eat his protein bar because remember when they were at his place and Rick asked Michonne, “so we’re eating his food now?” Then Michonne just shrugged and said, “the mat said welcome”. And Morgan’s welcome mat was actually a booby trap! 🤣

Isaac_

Ikr?? This is a hard earned W lol. We gonna take next year too tho now😈

Sara Tucker

Been waiting for this season. 👀💙

TeddyKGB

Especially the end!!!

CorsonDrax

To be fair. Rick was already contemplating/fantasizing about killing the abusive husband before he even knew he was abusive.

CorsonDrax

back when he just wanted his girl

Rindamarie

First, when y'all said you'll try to get through all 11 seasons in 2025, I didn't think you could do it. But you are on track. Second, Rick needs to let go of Jesse; she cannot hook up with the dude who killed her children's father now. Finally, I struggled with Morgan in this episode. There was nothing Rick could do about Carter! Compassion in that moment is to take Carter out instead of letting him suffer. However, Rick needs to keep listening to Daryl, Michonne, and Morgan to balance him out. Fun fact: Sonequa's (Sasha) husband is in this season, Kenric plays Scott, part of Heath's crew that showed up at the gate.

Rindamarie

I've often thought through options. I agree that burning them would take too long or you need to bomb the entire area. I thought about fortifying it so the walkers can't get out. But another group could come upon the horde to let them out towards Alexandria I think the better plan is to break up the horde and send walkers in different directions away from Alexandria.

Sabrina

Rick has so many tuff little speeches and lines this season. He keeps reminding people who he is!!! And Adison is so funny the way he pays so much attention to the walkers and pointing out the funny stuff they do LOL.

Sabrina

I think the community as a whole must have known about the abuse, or at minimum knew he wasn't a good husband. You can only hide so much in such a small community - and once one person knows, it's only a matter of time before everybody does.

KennethLu

Man season 6 is gonna be wild I’m looking forward to all yall reaction but just be prepared for season 7 one of the darkest and most depressing season yet

Jay

Morgan immediately recognizing Carol for the gangsta she is, is one of my favorite little moments of the show 😂

Marco

It’s something little but I love how Andrew Lincoln delivered the line “He’s just somebody who shouldn’t be alive now.” When he was talking to Morgan about Carter. You can see the rage and pain on his face and hear it in his voice. You can tell that Rick is thinking about all the people that should be alive instead of Carter. That scene on the porch is one of my favorites in the whole season. It was just beautifully acted by both of them.

gayjinchuriki

I disagree with you guys. I believe that if Pete had k!lled someone else besides her husband, and if asked whether or not to have Pete buried within the compound, she would still have refused and had his body disposed outside. Adison, I had the same idea as you regarding burning up the walkers in that hole, but the smoke and fire is going to attract WAAAAYYYY more Walkers. It would be way too risky with little, or no reward in return.

Jaci Henley

Michone did take the protein bar when they left.

Harmony

Never knew this!!!!

Harmony

Awww how sweet and that's exactly how I feel when I see each new TWD uploaded!

Mikel Swart

The last good season before the best 2 seasons

Ashleigh

Rick was wanting to kill ol boy since he was creepily talking to him in the dark…. The vibes were just wrong lol

Tyah Reacts

Can’t wait for Episodes 9 & 10 man 😝😂😂

k.gabrielle 💋

@58:48 Lincolns whole british accent came out for a sec lol 🤣

Je-Ree O

Whew I’m shaking lmao can’t wait

EliG

Gentlemen! There is NO way you can compare Dawn and Deanna on the scale of evil! No way! Dawn was evil and crazy! She was having her people seek out the weak and allowing the male officers to assault the women they captured. Deanna was weak and foolish, but she cared about her people. All of her people. And cared enough to seek survivors who would help her people survive. The survivors had a choice to join and were not held captive. She was wrong in believing Pete had changed. Wishful thinking. She ignored what was going on. She was wrong. But her heart was in the right place. As for Rick, he wasn't acting out of his good, kind heart. He told Jesse he would not done what he did for anyone else.

where_is_t

That freeze frame on Michonne’s face after Morgan asked about the protein bar is perfect.

Sierra Davis

Man, that conversation Rick had with Morgan about Carter was crazy. Rick said Carter was gonna die and he did. Parallel! Glenn is trying to do so much good. I think that the lessons he has learned from many people in his life is what is driving him. Also, in season 5 episode 2, when Gabriel brought the group back to his church and they began looking around. Glenn found a framed bible verse on the wall. It read: And let us not grow weary of doing good. For in due season we will reap if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. Glenn is looking for a light in this dark world and when you cannot find the light, be the light. Glenn would make a great teacher for children ☺️ He’s someone to look up to. Love him all the way to my bones.

TheMelodicRage

This is the season i've been waiting for. Can't believe we're actually here

Ren

I personally believe he seen this show before because he has mentioned a future character from the later seasons in reactions to other shows. GOT specifically i think it was when he mentioned A***a

Nunu Lawson

Let’s start this Impactful journey, Awesome reaction as well🤣🔥.

Ash Lee Can

Oh, it was DEFINITELY Michonne that stole that protient bar 😄. She was munching on it when Carl was talking about getting a crib, and she said she'd go with him lol. She actually stole a bag a chips first, too, when they first got there, and Rick called her out when suddenly heard her just casually munching away behind him like they wasn't just getting shot and evaded booby traps. "The mat said welcome 🤷🏾‍♀️" lol (if you pay attention to when Morgan is confronting Michonne about it, Rick is just standing there's listening to the conversation, watching them from the corner of his eye, and he looks likes he lowkey wants to say something because he knows Michonne's is just straight up giving Morgan the smoooothest gaslighting over a protien bar 😆)... One of my favorite things is when they give characters little random, but reoccurring characteristics to certain characters, even it's real subtle. Like, if you really pay attention, you'll realize that Michonne is lowkey a foodie(and loves random art 😆). The food she stole from Morgan(the random cat statue she also stole from the restuarant in the episode lol). Her getting hype over a unopened cheese wiz and immediately goes to work on it(her observing all of the different paintings in the house her and Carl checked out in the same episode, after just seeing dolled up, while intensely discussing something she just saw at an art gala her her boyfriend and friend in the dream/flashback 2 eps prior). Her having candy bars and even adorably whining about not getting the one that she wanted lol(I adore that apparently Michonne/Carl always share their snacks/treats together). There might be a couple of others I missed, so far. And you know she was probably scavenging for snacks(and random art kick knacks) the whole time she was searching for The Governor lol. She ain't tough those Woodbury scrambled eggs though lol. She also really loves toothpaste and brushing her teeth lol. Like it's one of those little, personal "luxury" things she misses the most since the apoclypse. When they first got to Alexandria and they were all in the house, she came out the bathroom all smiling asking how long was she in there for. Rick said 20 mins, and she said she couldn't stop brushing(and that's when Rick walked over like to her like he been clocking her for 20 mins to her to get out of the bathroom so he could show off his new face 😄)...

ozzy

he has an understanding of certain things that happen in the show, he knows about Mr. Lucille who shows up later on in this szn, i'm pretty sure he knows what he ends up doing too. And he knows about some other future characters and spin offs etc. I think it's cause he used to work with someone who watched the show and was talking about it so he has a somewhat "good" understanding of certain things that will happen later on and if certain people make it to the end or not.

ReelPiscesPlays

Who gone run Microsoft is crazy Brandon 😂

Ashleigh

Small community ??? Ya’ll know how that goes, everybody knows EVERYTHING. They just didn’t see it as exile behavior until Deanna’s hubby got murked

Ashleigh

Agreed. Rick favored Jessie and he pretty much told her he was only going this because he liked her. Dawn was sick… she thought she was a good person but anybody who not only allows somebody else to get hurt, but helps to scout for more people to hurt is a horrible person. Deanna truly thought that Pete was more of a better good contribution. “He’s healing the community and just had an alcohol problem”, also his wife was his own advocate so she decided to turn the other cheek. If his wife was begging for help I’m sure she would’ve exiled him, I don’t think they’re comparable

Ashleigh

About Carter, this my second time watching. He definitely could’ve knocked him out and let him say his goodbyes later… lol Rick been wanted to kill him so 🤷🏾‍♀️ that’s why he did it lol. Morgan had the stick ready he was just gonna put him to bed but then Rick knifed him

Tyrademi

I totally forgot that the season took off like this. 🚀🔥 That peanut bar scene between Michonne and Morgan, was perfectly written.

Eric

This season is peak!

Ash Lee Can

Y'all do know that some reactors are aware of certain characters' existence before starting the show, right? I mean, some spoilers are hard to avoid, and Walking Dead was a HUGE show. Some people know people who watched and talked about the and other, and heard certain names. It's not that complicated...

Ash Lee Can

Right? 😄 I was surprised Adison didn't say anything about it before clicking play, especially since they were literally wondering if she really ate it or not. Her face said it all 😆...

Mark B

Just because he knows a character or a certain part of a future storyline doesn’t mean he has seen the show. That logic is way over the top lol

EliG

Yes and you reminded me of something - Pete was extremely valuable as a doctor. A surgeon. You can't just go out and find another! And great point you make - that Dawn was out seeking more people to hurt! She would have known how some of the officers would treat Beth.

Ash Lee Can

Thank you about the Rick's not so noble intentions about saving Jessie comment. That one comment alone was enough for me to never ship Jessick because of that one exchange between them. It just showed how mentally skewed Dick's mind had become because not only was his response to her asking if he'd do this for anyone else, and said, "No", was not only creepy and lowkey made his sense of character feel really sketchy, but Rick used to be a cop. In fact, he's a cop now. He sat there, as a cop both pre & now post-apocalypse, and he told this abused woman he would not be fighting this hard for someone else, indicating that the only real reason ge was there was due to personal feelings, not because it was the right thing to do. He didn't even want to grt involved initially when Carol told him about it. And we know Rick's dealt with domestic disputes as a sheriff before in the past(remember the story Rick told T-Dogg about the young guy who killed his gf, got off after crying kn the stand, and then killed turned around and killed another girl). And Jessie's so mentally messed up from all of the abuse that she genuinely took comfort in that response from Rick seeing it as knight in shining armor instead of seeing it for the red flag of a response that it really was because she's used dealing with someone a whole lot worse. Rick honestly made me real uncomfortable with Jessie. Not because she was married, although he was completely out of pocket for sniffing around a married woman, but because his behavior around her was off putting. If I had asked that question to Rick, and he answered, "No", I honestly would have told Rick to leave because there's no way I would have felt comfortable to trust him after that. Like, you mean to tell me is that the only really here trying to save me from my abusive, alcoholic husband because you like me? Ewww. I would trust anybody syaing that to me in that circumstance, lwt alone a dman cop. There's nothing romantic about something like that...

Ash Lee Can

I don't think Jessie was talking about Rick saving Ron, but the him grabbing him when he tried and Rick had a very firm, but meaning demeanor when he spoke to him. His tone and everything was just wrong with how he was handling it because WHY would Ron want to talk to him, let alone listen to him? There was no respect for the kid who just wanted to see his father that Rick murdered literally the night before. He didn't speak to Jessie, her kids, another. He made a decision about someone's else's family but didn't even have the decency to not only discuss it with said family, but even tell them what was being done in the first place. Rick's making decisions based on his personal feelings a lot, which is unfair to those arkund, especually because he's a person of significant leadership. Keep in mind, Ron was raised by a very abusive father. That kind of demeanor could be triggering to an abusr victim. To Ron, it's just one monster traded for another, except Rick isn't even his dad...

Ash Lee Can

Yeah, these housing prices in NoVa are ridiculous, so that 800k sounds about right, and that was the price when the apocalypse started. A brand new home in Alexandria right now would probably be about a millir or two 😆😭. I moved right outside of NoVa, where the suburbs get rural real fast hut close enough to where I can still fet to work under half and hour lol...

where_is_t

It was very “If you don’t get out my face (yes I absolutely ate it).”

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Side note - the last time Rick saw Morgan he was on demon time and stabbed Rick in the shoulder, he was crazy town. Rick was just taking precautions about Morgan's sanity with the whole quasi jail cell. Morgan said "I know how it is" (He was just sad it happened, he wasn't criticizing Rick)

Cleo Griffith

Rick is in Alexandria but it's an Us and them mentally for him. I always like when Rick creep up on Carter head tilting and swagging and take the gun from Carter and kick him. BTW the guy Carter also auditioned for the role of Rick Grimes and I must say I'm so glad they went Andrew Lincoln because he absolutely kills it. Michonne did take Morgan protein bar, she was eating it and Rick said are we eating his food now and Michonne said "the mat says welcome" lol. Ron or his mother never told Rick thank you for saving his worthless life. As far as I'm concern Rick should have let him go over the cliff. You guys was asking why Morgan was in the jail house, Morgan wanted to be put there because he and Rick is at different place and don't really know each other. There is a horn coming from Alexandria so what does that mean for the community with a herd coming at them. Also TF have been in Alexandria for about a week and a half, since Heath said he and his group was gone for 2 weeks. So TF got there and shake the whole place up lol. Also the bald guy Scott is Sasha's real life husband. Can't wait for E2.

EliG

Definitely a low point for Rick. Actively disliking him now that you've all commented on the darkness he let overtake him! Shameful behavior. AND am just remembered the way he pushed Carl aside while he was fighting with Pete. SMH

nattyindi

You're talking about the dude who got his face chewed off? I don't think knocking him out and carrying his dead weight back home was feasible in their situation...

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

For real xD And his mirroring of Shane! He tried to convince Andrea they had to take the guns and take control of the farm. Rick even more ruthless planning to take the armory, threaten to slit their throats...it's great

Mya Marie

I can’t stand dude with the BRAIDED PONYTAIL😭😭😭😭

Shelly

Ethan Embry was such a popular comedy actor in the 90’s; I loved him in Can’t Hardly Wait, Empire Records and That Thing You Do. I don’t think he has the gravitas for a role like this though.

Edim

The soundtrack in this episode was 🔥🔥

Evilkerri

Speaking of Mr Miyagi, have you guys watched Cobra Kai? I loved that show xx

Chris L

Yeah, I find him pretty unlikable too. Like he's from some other show and intruding on my good TWD vibes.

Cole hauser

A cool fact about the names of those last episodes of season five is they’re actually in reference to a story given by Dale in season one. Dale: I like what father says to his son when he gave him a watch that had been handed down through generations. He said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire, which will fit your individual needs no better than it mine or my fathers before me. I give it to you not that you may REMEMBER time but that you may FORGET it for a moment now and not SPEND all your breath TRYing to CONQUER it. Which my interpretation for them doing that is because Rick was acting like Shane. However, he overcame Shane’s way and tried it a different way for a moment stopped trying to conquer them because he took the advice of his “family” while keeping that mentality and it worked in his favor. Where Shane didn’t and was a my way or the highway type of person even when given the same advice by Andrea. Anyway onwards to my second favorite season👏👏👏👏👏.

Camillionaire

What Rick and his group did get this legion of Walkers out of the way of Alexandria was momentous. The side distractions with Alexandria naysayers and plume dumb haters made even more treacherous. Meanwhile the dumbs was like feed me Seamore, lol.

Isis Atlantis

Oh I loved this episode when it aired. I use to have TWD watch parties! Good times

Isis Atlantis

Facts, because I knew about a few GOT character before I had even watched the show. I was a big TWD fan, so I wasn't into GOT at the time of it's airing, but I saw memes of Jon Snow, Daenarys, etc.

Ayaulym🇰🇿

"We have to come for them before they come for us"...

isthatchrisk

She took some of his food!! Rick asked "what, we're eating his food now?" Michonne replied: "What? The mat said Welcome..."

Nuffinnbutthetide

not a bad suggestion, not sure they into teen dramas tho 😂

jasmin

i’m real late catching up so somebody probably already said it but the new bald dude married to sasha in real life!

TxMade🫶🏽

I wouldn’t let Gabriel or that other guy who got Noah killed go (I can’t remember his name lol) I’d let Eugene come for the mission before I let either one of those other two come with me ANYWHERE 😂😂

Alison Heimgartner

Herself never challenged Rick in front of the group either. He respected him.

Austin

* The title of the episode, "First Time Again", comes from a conversation between Morgan and Rick about getting to know each other again after such a long time apart. * The episode's exact runtime is 01:04:44. * As of this episode, Sonequa Martin-Green(Sasha Williams) and Lennie James (Morgan Jones) have been added to the opening credits. * Josh McDermitt (Eugene Porter), Christian Serratos (Rosita Espinosa), Alanna Masterson (Tara Chambler) and Seth Gilliam (Gabriel Stokes) are still listed under "Also Starring" despite being regulars in the previous season. * This is the first episode featuring Alexandra Breckenridge (Jessie Anderson), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe) and Tovah Feldshuh (Deanna Monroe) as series regulars. They are all listed under "Also Starring". * Similar to Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene) in Season 3, Feldshuh's name receives special billing as "and Tovah Feldshuh". * Major Dodson (Sam) is upgraded from "Co-Star" to "Also Starring" in this episode. * This episode marks the first episode in which Morgan appears in two consecutive episodes. * This episode marks Melissa McBride's 50th appearance on the TV Series. * This episode is the first season premiere since S2EP1 "What Lies Ahead" to feature all series regulars of said season. * The lines: "I ask, you answer. It's common courtesy, right?" which was said by Rick to Morgan in this episode are the same words Morgan told Rick in S1EP1 "Days Gone Bye". * Second and third mention of Holly. Though not physically present, she was mentioned twice. Once by Eugene at the gate when Heath returned to Alexandria and then again at the meeting, mentioned by Rick as taking up guard in the watch tower with Rosita and Spencer. * With a total of 14.6 million viewers received during the initial broadcast, this is the first season premiere that did not surpass the viewing figures of the previous season. * This season premiere closes up with an aerial shot of a massive herd of zombies threatening to kill Rick and/or his group, just like the ending of the pilot/season premiere of Season 1. * While filming the scene in which Rick threatens Carter by pointing a gun at him, Andrew Lincoln punched the wall behind him so many times trying to get angry for the situation, that he actually broke it, opening a hole clearly visible in the shot. This could have been fixed digitally, or simply covered up with Ethan Embry's (Carter) face. * This is the only episode of Season 6 where all main cast members appear.

Austin

* When Rick is threatening Carter by pointing a gun at him, the sound of a pistol hammer being cocked can be heard; similarly, when he lowers it, a decocking sound effect can be heard. However, the pistol Rick uses is a Glock model, a series of pistols with no external hammer. * When Rick and Morgan are talking near the end of the episode on the porch, Andrew Lincoln's natural English accent can be heard slipping through for a couple of words.

Morgan

If they were to have lit up that whole pit, the flames would have drawn in more walkers. Creating a whole new danger after the ledge crumbled.

Katie Robertson

I'm sorry but no matter what that bad that man did, he did good too. And his kids deserve to be able to visit their fathers grave if they want. That's not fair to them

Nikki Jones

I TOTALLY missed that, and I've rewatched this show so many times. 🤣🤣🤣

Gracie's Revenge

Ya that would be an issue. The other issue is, fire, as we've seen, doesn't technically always kill the walkers. They may get all burned up but if the fire/flames don't have a way to directly burn or hurt their brain, they still keep going. Some of them end up just falling to the ground, snapping at your ankles, but we've seen before that others just keep on walking and chasing people, smoldering away and burned up. Then you run the risk of one of their dumb selves falling, getting stuck on a tree or something and potentially starting a forest fire and as we see, that area hasn't gotten much rain over that year and also Alexandria is surrounded by a lot of those woods.
