One of the most empowering episodes in Walking Dead history! This episode had me hooting and hollering on premiere night. When Gabriel said that the Lord will give them strength to save Alexandria! Lawd have mercy! In Jesus name the Father will provide for those who are willing to have faith in one another and work! They went in! That’s really all they could do at that point. The way I would’ve been scared to take Judith to the church. 😂 Lawd, little baby please don’t cry. They gave her to the right person tho. Gabriel has a calming spirit when he’s not acting a fool. Omg, when Carl got shot, I had about 20 heart attacks. Lawd, I thought baby boy was gone. I felt bad for Jessie. She was really trying to get better, but had her sons to worry about. Once Sam was taken, it was over. Jessie couldn’t hear or see anything but her pain. Felt bad for Ron too. Little boy really knew his father was wrong, but at the end of the day, that was still his father. He probably hoped that one day his father would change for the better. When Glenn spoke to Enid in the church about the people who keep him going : his parents, Dale, Andrea, Herschel and Tyreese! This hits home and really helps the audience understand why Glenn is so empathetic and helps those that the average human would not. All the people he named were hoping for a better future and did not want to become monsters because of this world. His parents raised an amazing human. Dale would be so proud of him and Herschel would be grateful that Glenn is willing to die for his daughter. He left her in great hands. Andrea would be proud of her brother and Tyreese would encourage Glenn to continue to be a light in the darkness. 😭 Lawd when those walkers surrounded Glenn by that wall! I’m like Walking Dead, don’t do this to me again😩. Sasha, Abraham and Daryl for the win! Everyone was the MVP of this episode! I love crash out Rick sometimes😂. He stay leading the pack!

Camillionaire

Nicknames are the name of the game in the EDN community! 👊🏽💯

Camillionaire

No Diddy felt Addie! I am coming for whateva I can get my hands, mouth, knees and feet. 🤪

MoonChild718

We are almost thereeee. I can't wait

Latinblu

The only problem with Michonne taking Judith to safety is that no one stops Ron and he ends up killing Carl instead of maiming him

ThatGuyTrent

denise knew carl wasnt bit bc she heard the gunshot i think and it was just intuition

Camillionaire

Cornbread cake is wild! 🤣😂

Camillionaire

Welcome new Negro! EDN is one more negro strong! 💪🏾

Camillionaire

The Negan gang deserved it Radio! They did swallow it whole. No Diddy twice removed! 🤣😂

Rindamarie

Newly crowned Queen of Alexandria, Michonne, has entered the chat. She doesn't play with Rick, Carl, or Judith. She didn't say much this episode, but her actions were felt. I'll add, Morgan needs to live alone with his philosophy.

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Finally that whole family ark came to a close, Rick was drowning in the lake of feelings until he snapped out of it and literally cut his losses🪓 W upload btw fam🙏

bruhitz_arrie

yall picked a good episode for him to watch with yall

Arabella Serna

PLEASE get those two their own chair! If this could be helped that would be greatly appreciated! Also love the new addition to the duo turned trio! Much love💛

Nunu Lawson

This Is PEAK TWD for me personally I loved this episode. Great Reaction!! 🤣🔥🔥

Queen S

I've always liked that scene when they all killing the walkers at one time they going to to each of our characters the camera work was great that was a cool scene and I love the expression on Michonne face when she was killing those walkers trying to get Carl to the infirmary this is always been one of my favorite episodes ❤️

Queen S

Oh boy is right!

Queen S

My birthday tomorrow Adison can you upload the next episode for me please❤️😀

Camillionaire

Heyyy! We got a new negro on da tha block! Well EDN bees da tha block!

MoonChild718

I like this new co host. Welcome da... I mean Osafa

MoonChild718

Mannn 😂😂😂 it's definitely almost time for the circus tho

Marco

Jesse didn’t let Carl’s hand go because of something that’s called the “Death Grip.” It’s a real thing.

Avishai

Daryl and Michonne going back and forth for number two. IMO

vanessa

i need episode 10 pleaseeeee😩

vanessa

happy early birthday!

Queen S

Thank you Vanessa 😊

Coco Walker

And now I can be candid as l really want to be about Jessie and her dead weight children: my first comment must be me expressing that I HATE that Mica and Lizzy got killed but they wrote it as if these two useless ones and their failure of a mother might prove everyone who was watching and KNEW none of that trio was 'make it'material might just make it anyway. It overcooked my grits to the max. I'd have rathered Lizzy post 'we have to wait' had made it to Alexandria if that were the case...I have gone in depth about how the boys became dead weight and how I just have no patience for Jessie under different vids but this is my episode to purge without spoiling anything why I couldn't stand her actions and lack of ability to read a situation or timing ... More comments will be coming I'm thinking of doing like a 3 part to break the entire situation down and how from jump...The writers were just playing with our emotions and feelings, like I feel like they had Rick playing with Michonne's from the moment he met Jessie🙄

Andrew Rice

Mr. Did Ya Pray Today! (Gabriel) has entered the chat as of this episode

Coco Walker

I'll be honest, even going back to my first time ever watching the show...The best part of this episode for me was Jessie and her dead weight children getting the chop (no pun intended). From the moment Rick started liking her and she started clinging to him and going all damsel in distress, my grits were overcooked because...Hello, MICHONNE. Like, there was never any comparison and the weaker the writers showed us Jessie was and the more tapped mentally both her boys' behavior became ...I knew they weren't 'make it' material, but them wasting episodes only for me to be so accurately correct made me mad because I would've taken Lizzy post 'we have to wait' instead of both the boys and the attempt to vilify Carol by having her voice in Sam's head when in fact Jessie telling the boy to pretend to be brave is what made him decline safety at the church wasn't cool either.

BT

Man I be trying to catch it live on discord and is never able to catch it. Is it certain times they watch? I really want to watch these next episodes live cause I want to see them “pee in their pants” lol.

Cole hauser

The butterfly effect. Morgan saving that wolf and telling his story led to a moment where the wolf saves the doctor in an attempt to get to the infirmary to save himself. After being shot by Carol he still attempts to save the doctor leading to her getting to the infirmary, allowing her to be able to assist Carl when he shows up confirming he won’t die. All to say if Morgan had not saved that wolf then Carl would’ve died. As Eastman always said “ where there’s life there’s potential. “Also Carol telling Sam about “the monsters” last season traumatized him so much that he got his family killed when passing through the “monsters” due to his fear.

lily mccann

That was Jessie’s fault for not sending Sam on with Gabriel. She knew her son better than anybody.

Dark D

Is it just me or is Brandon's left arm twice as big as his right.? Maybe it's just the camera angle.

everydaynegroes

It’s the lens I switched to a wider lens and the edges get wonky 😅. I’ll figure out this 3 person setup soon, bare with me! -Adison

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

facts. happened in season 2 or 3 on the farm when otis's wife got killed she was holding onto beth and it was hard to get her to let go. so messed up.

everydaynegroes

Top 5 as of this episode!?!? EXPLAIN YOSELF!!!! -Adison

Marco

Exactly! I was gonna mention that in my comment but I’m glad someone else noticed it too. The concept makes sense tho, your muscles are gonna tense if something like that is happening to you. It’d be hard to relax and ease your muscles when you’re getting eaten alive lol

Dark D

Oh man, I got scared he had some condition or something 😅

shaymus

Without being a coward he’s now like the professor on Gillgans Island. It was so easy to dislike him before but now he’s genuinely more useful than most. I also think the actor is so funny and subtle in a show full of crazy dramatic performances.

Camillionaire

Ad, you should let the new negro watch the YouTube recaps for the each season of TWD. This will help him catch up but more in depth.

Rindamarie

definitely! The TWD holy trinity is Rick, Daryl, and Michonne. Love their characters and relationship to one another.

Ash Lee Can

Then he still would have panicked anyways...

Ash Lee Can

And if Denise didn't she would have definitely folded when trying to save Carl. Finding her strength and courage through that experience(you can even tell with the way she calmly made that deal with the wolf in the midst of that sea of walkers), she was able to hold onto that and locked in when she saw them carrying Carl to the infirmary. That whole wolf situation ended up being the thing that saved Carl...

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

What a bad episode to just throw him into 😆 kinda feel bad for him that he is just being caught up by conversations. Welcome but I hope they put you on a different show since you are so behind. I love your name Osafa ❤️

Angie

Daryl and michone are so goated! They stay holding rick down especially when he be crashing out. After Lori died first thing daryl did was find formula for judith. Michone was ready to go out and help rick this episode without hesitation but waited until she knew carl was ok. Rick has to deal with so much he needs ppl like that.

connie

Welcome new host, Osafa! Hey, just so there’s some clarity on what Rick was saying to Carl at the end of that episode: When he talks about the “feeling” he hasn’t felt since before he woke up in that hospital bed? He’s talking about hope. And that is huge for him. Because if you trace Rick’s journey back from Season 1, you’ll realize he’s never had true hope, not since the world fell. From the moment he woke up alone in that hospital, everything has been about survival. First it was about finding Lori and Carl. Then it was about keeping Carl and Judith alive. Then it became about keeping Team Family alive. That drive to survive was the only thing fueling him. Not belief in a better world. Just staying alive, one day at a time. Over the seasons, people like Dale, Hershel, Bob, and Deanna tried to guide him toward something more. Dale begged them all not to give up hope and their humanity. Hershel told Rick that broken things can still grow and encouraged Rick to think about a future for his son. Bob reminded him that nightmares end and to not let too much of himself go along the way or he can never come back to who he was. And Deanna believed in building a future, in community. But Rick couldn’t accept any of it. Not fully. He was almost too far gone, too hardened by everything he’d seen, done, and lost. Until this episode. This was the first time Rick truly saw it. He watched the Alexandrians, the people he didn’t think could make it, rise up beside him. He saw them fight for their home, for them, for each other. He saw that Deanna was right: they are his people. And they proved that the world doesn’t have to stay broken. That’s what makes his speech to Carl so powerful. He’s not just talking about rebuilding walls—he’s talking about rebuilding the world. For Carl. For Judith. For everyone. “Everything Deanna was talking about is possible. It’s all possible—I see that now.” That line alone marks the turning point. Not just for the arc of the season—but for Rick Grimes as a character. Because when you really think about it, Rick was the last one among them still clinging to the old way. Still locked in survival mode, without belief in anything more. Tara, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, etc, all of them understood what they had now and what they could build. Rick was the last one whose walls had to come down. And they finally did.

Dorinda Schaper

What no one mentions, in the show or in your dialogs, is that Rick did not put Pete down until Deanna gave him to okay to do it. Rick did not on his own just shoot Pete, yet everyone keeps blaming Rick! Deanna put Pete down, Rick just carried it out. He WAITED on Deanna's word! Blame Deanna...but no, no one does that. Annoys me. Deanna can take it, Rick (and Carl) shouldn't have to!

Ash Lee Can

Ayyo, quick shout out to Olivia, the armory and pantry lady. She legit was the first person who ran out there to fight with sprained ankled Eric, after they saw the infirmary crew out there fighting, and she was even heading down the stairs before he was. At least Eric has SOME experience, considering that he was one of the recruiters with Aaron. Just two/three days ago, Carol was just handing Olivia a gun with probably minimum experience with them, if any at all, telling her to stand guard and protect the armory, after she was found hiding the closet during the wolf invasion. Now she's she one of the first people jumping out here into a sea of walkers with a melee weapon putting in work. Gotta give the credit and respect where it's due 🫡...

Angie

I agree. There's so much character development and you can't appreciate the relationships built within the group without starting from the beginning

Isis Atlantis

Welcome Osafa...but I don't think he should be starting right here. You have to grow with the characters. The evolution of TWD is the best part!

Coco Walker

Okay so my hot take on the show: It's not really the adults that are MAIN characters in this show.MAIN MAIN never die characters have been Dewayne,Carl, and then Judith. At this point, I personally feel like it was subtle, but all along the children of TWD as a show, especially OGsurvival group are the main characters with intervals of the show writers developing the adults that (subconsciously or on purpose) are charged with the duty of carving out a future for the children born to their group or integral to the development of the show and an easy FF. That's pretty much why I personally hate that Lizzy and Mica died only for Ron and Sam to enter the chat later... I just have felt since my 2nd rewatch of the show that the survivors/Main cast of the show that are really strong and either sink or swim immediately have always been the children. I also think it was clever of the writers to always put the epitome of the ONE thing that all the adults have in common: children ALWAYS= A FUTURE. Even for adults with no relation or direct regional relationship. When the question of ethnicity or race of humanity globally became as simple as alive or zombie. Children everywhere become the physical representation of future... Just my lil deep opinion on the show after a couple of rewatches.

Sabrina

Eh, I kinda agree but that makes it seem like Morgan was right about not killing at all. My takeaway was that ALL actions have consequences, even consequences we didn't see coming or intend to happen. Sure if Morgan would have killed that guy, Carl might be dead. However, if Morgan would have killed those 5 wolves instead of letting them go, Rick would have been able to stop a big part of that herd from getting to Alexandra with the RV, meaning there wouldn't have been enough of them to break down the walls. Meaning Carl wouldn't have been shot or in a position where he needed to be saved. I think things just happen as they were always going to. People can have whatever belief system that suits them, but no matter what, they have to accept that they can't control the ripple effects of their decisions. Also - Sam was never gonna make it!

Sabrina

Regarding Sam-I hate when people blame Carol. I blame nobody but his daddy for being so detrimental to his mental health, that ONE woman he barely knows scared him so much and convinced him to keep secrets from his mom. I refuse to blame anyone but Pete for the death of his entire family.

Harmony

YAY!!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Dorinda Schaper

If not for Morgan saving the Wolf Denise never would have left the infirmary in the first place. She had patients she was caring. She followed Morgan AWAY from the infirmary.

Dr. Lou

Please do! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Cole hauser

Which is true, however as mentioned from the original reply to my comment, she would’ve freaked out most likely killing Carl or would’ve been unable to save him due to the pressure it would cause her. She was only able to compose herself and do what needed to be done because she just dealt with the wolf holding her hostage and went through a horde of the dead. So sure she could’ve been at the infirmary originally, but wouldn’t have had the experience she did that allowed her to be able to handle the pressure of immediate surgery.

Cole hauser

Though Morgan isn’t correct about “save everybody” he was correct in saving him. Which leaves both Rick and Morgan half right because you don’t need to kill everybody besides your own like Rick believes because there are still good people who can come back(like Hershel told Rick), but you can’t save everyone like Morgan believes because there are those who are to far gone like the governor. All choices/actions have consequences whether they are good or bad I believe was also the message which is basically the butterfly effect. I correlated it to the butterfly effect because it is the belief that a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world could have consequences on the other, whether those consequences are good or bad. So like you mentioned, Morgan did let those guys go and they ended up all the way over by Rick who ends up killing them to save himself however killing the RV in the process. Morgan saved that wolf which inherently caused events that prepared Denise to handle the pressure of Carl’s surgery. Ron was going to shoot Carl from directly behind him, allowing him a perfect killshot, but then the tower that was hit by the truck during the wolf attack fell and broke the wall, causing the hoard to flood in preventing Ron a clear shot to kill him that moment. Later on after Ron’s family is killed from Sam’s fear of “The Monsters” and recalling what Carol told him about them. Ron tries to shoot Carl again but now Michonne is here to try and save Carl, which denies Ron a perfect shot to kill him allowing Carl the possibly to live if the doctor can finally handle the pressure. If the horde wasn’t there, then they wouldn’t be nearly as worried and Ron wouldn’t have died which would’ve allowed him more opportunities to shoot and kill Carl without him having help nearby.

Ginger Snaps

Always nice to have a third handsome EDN to watch!!

Marcella Kicks

I agree. Seems odd to have someone joining without full prior knowledge. They’d be better starting a fresh reaction to a different show with Osafa and keep TWD as it began with the duo ❤️

Cindy G

⚜️ Hey Ashley from New Orleans! I'm Cindy from New Orleans. Jambalaya 💯, not a big crawfish fan either, and chargrilled oysters are 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥.

everydaynegroes

I plan on having him join me on other series as well! I'll keep y'all posted! -Adison

Holly (Taylor Smith)

She said "nope" cause Rick wouldn't have brought him to the doctor if he got bit in the face

Holly (Taylor Smith)

His dad just died, he wasn't raised by a single mom. U guys blaming the mom for the month she was single rather than the abusive father for their whole life for their behavior is crazy lol

Sabrina

I think he would have had a panic attack being separated from his mom. I really don't think there's any way Sam was gonna survive this no matter the option.

Egypt Jones

his evilness is so sickening its insane

Sabrina

I've noticed it tends to be mid-afternoon during the week when they start watching lives. Well I don't know where you live, mid-afternoon in the US, I'm in Georgia on eastern time.

ondraya

Crazy episode to have a new viewer lol can't wait for the next!

Ashleigh

I don’t think Denise was answering the question “was he bitten” when she said “no”. I think she was telling the panic and anxiety no. She saw W-man change and she decided that she could too and that she could be brave and try to save Carl’s life 💕

Ashleigh

Beautifully written ✨

Ashleigh

😂😂😂

Tyrademi

Carl getting shot is honestly on Rick. When he executed Pete, he should’ve pulled Carl back and detached themselves from Jessie and her family. Pete wasn’t a good person, but Rick—you executed Ron his father. That boy’s hatred was only going to grow. And then when Jessie said, “I’ve got it, Rick. I’ll teach them how to defend themselves,” maybe Ron wouldn’t have learned “yet” how to use a gun. But no—Rick and Carl had to step in, and ended up teaching that boy exactly how to use the gun on one of them.

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Yeapp, her confidence level tapped in and took control of her medical skills

SirBigBalls

Father G has come a long way even if it’s a short path.

Nuffinnbutthetide

yall want Rick to be the messiah or sum??? He cant know everything, he’s just doing his best, as the leader everything falls on him but u cant keep blaming him like anyone else would do better

Alec L

osafa is probably one of the coolest names i’ve ever heard. welcome sir!

Rindamarie

When the show first aired I remember lots of fans saying it’s Carl’s story. I can definitely see your theory being correct!

julia

ricks definitely not perfect but i feel like that would have been one of the more obvious decisions to make . he just didn't care about how ron felt because pete was beating on jessie and sam. he made an effort at first to distance himself from jessie but gave in pretty quickly.

Montae Williams

Pete was an alcoholic abusive father. He didn’t raise/ parent those boys in any way. Not even before the apocalypse. Jesse was a married single mom. Married in name only. She raised the boys in that environment trynna chg Pete who wouldn’t ever change. The safety measures & what the boys learn were from dealing w/having Pete live with them. Jesse instituted those, not Pete.

Montae Williams

I feel like they should’ve split then. Jesse take Sam & Ron w/Gabriel while Michonne, Rick & Carl execute his plan. Jesse / Ron weren’t that skilled anyway to be goin with Rick & although Sam was a liability either way it would’ve been best not to have him tag along on that mission.

Montae Williams

Denise wouldn’t have needed saving if Morgan hadn’t taken her out of the infirmary to help the wolf. He put her in that precarious situation in the 1st place. And her confidence/ skills had been building 1 the wolf wasn’t that pivotal to her evolution so she would’ve saved Carl anyway. Tara had more to do with steadying / encouraging Denise than anyone. Morgan DID save Daryl & Aaron like he said. And they were able to save Alexandria later on. Daryl bringing the RPG, Sasha/Abraham at the end and saving Glenn.

Montae Williams

I’m in Cali so yeah we’re in morning meetings when I get notifications 😭

Tyrademi

Rick is really HIM, don’t get me wrong — he truly is THAT guy. But casually hanging around a family after you executed their father? Not his smartest move. Back at the prison, he didn’t even trust Tyreese and his group for way less. And now he’s out here trying to be all kumbaya with this family?

lily mccann

That would have been a great idea!

Desirée Ligue

How can i join the discord for life reactions?

DuRagDell823

The faces at 37:14 are priceless!

Cherono

Is Osafa also from the continent? (Directly I mean) Welcome, it is good to see representation!

isthatchrisk

My favorite episode of the entire series!

Konner Cragun

Calling Negan a clown is the worst mistake. You’ll see who he really is

Feather Noir

I think he would've faired better because it wouldn't have been dark by the time he got to the church. It was night time + Carol's words + trauma from Pete + seeing a dead walker kid that all domino-ed into his panic attack.

Holly (Taylor Smith)

That's exactly my point. Blaming the mom who was actually parenting rather than the live-in deadbeat alcoholic father who abused her in front of the kids to the point they were trying to obtain weapons is CRAZY. Ur comment goes even further into actual victim blaming.

Cole hauser

I agree that Tara was the one building her confidence in the beginning and even going on and I’ll even say she pretty much is the only one directly giving Denise confidence and kick started her willingness to conquer her fears. However, I don’t believe Tara built enough confidence in her (or Denise to herself ) in 1-2 days to have her prepared to do the most delicate and precise surgery she had to do yet under an additional high stress scenario where there are literal walkers outside that could break through the windows and kill her. I truly do believe that it was the scenario she was just in that allowed her to lock in and focus for the surgery because she just recently had to conquer her fears or die. I believe that is what prepared her for that surgery because she finally conquered not just one fear but multiple boosting her confidence to where she could still be afraid but could do it alone and didn’t need Tara to feel confident enough to do it this time (example her seeing Rick carrying Carl and her taking a moment and breathing in and preparing herself instead of panicking). I also have another point but it would be considered a spoiler as of now so I’ll keep it at to each their own I guess🤷‍♂️.

Cleo Griffith

Welcome Osafa. You have joined an outstanding group with Adison and Brandon. Bye bye to the Anderson, Jessie should have taken her sons and gone to the church, not drag them through the herd like they’re seasoned veterans. I don’t blame Carol, I blame Jessie especially when she told her kid to pretend to be brave then had him out in the herd. And Brandon you’re so right Michonne don’t play about her kids. You saw last episode she was making sure they was lathered up for that dangerous walk. My favorite weapon in the zombie apocalypse would be a Katana, you don’t have to get close and you can take out multiples at a time. Father G proved himself he got himself and Judith to safely and then went out to help fight the herd. This was a great episode now on to another of my favorite episodes 😊.

Cleo Griffith

It’s why I’ll always roll any eyes and shake my head when he let Jessie cut his cut when just the day before he knocked the shit outta Aaron who he just met, but Jessie he’s never seen in his life he let her cut his hair, I’ll always side eye the writers for that.

Austin Hogan

In the end some find salvation in the light some go to meet the lake of fire in the end all is light before all goes dark

Stefanie Anderson

I'm with Brandon's buddy Cornbread on that cake idea... Warm cornbread and vanilla ice cream with a touch of caramel drizzle will change your life!

Stefanie Anderson

also - Osafa picked a hell of an episode to come in on lol

jessica cantrell

💜this was a good introduction episode for the new addition 😊

Debbie

She heard the gunshot. That's how Denise knew Carl was shot.

Tyler Renshaw

O didn’t know how to act when Carl died and they both couldn’t believe it 😂😂

Matthew Tallent

It’s about to be pee pee pants city real soon.

Mate

Tbh 3 people talking over a show is a bit messy

Eli

cmon, that's a spoiler right there

UkzMadman

Had so many laughs watching the series back with you gents so far, looking forward to plenty more. Welcome to the series Osafa it's good to have you ✌️

Ada

I feel like Osafa should have caught up to the show prior to joining the reactions because those 4 seasons he hasn't seen can really shape someone's point of view. A third point of view could have been so beneficial to the conversation, but now he kind of has to go off of what two other people are telling him rather than forming his own thoughts and opinions. It's hard to argue with two people who are more knowledgable about something because you'd just kind of acquiesce to whatever they believe since they've seen it all and you haven't, when in reality they could be misremembering or forgetting useful details.

jasmin

late ash but welcome to the new addition!it’s lovely seeing yalls friendship and this gotta be one of the wildest episodes to welcome osafa to lol up there with the season five finale

jasmin

lol gabriel face when they was suggesting sending sam with em was too funny he said how the hell am i supposed to protect judith now

jordan reedus

Didn’t anybody tell yall TWD only lets 2 brothers on the show at a time 🤣 WELCOME!

Nathan Hale

Whole show is full of goofballs. At least a whole family of them is out of here. Nonetheless, Eugene Supremacy continues. Hail Eugene.

shemeka_blackscorpion

Definitely seem that way except for when they got to Alexandria... Alexandria had a few black guys but let's be real for a minute... if you're thinking they're racist by saying this you might wanna rethink that thought... they wouldn't be pushing for mixed race relationships throughout the whole series with every last one of them including rosita and father Gabriel... idk who thought that one was a good idea... it has nothing to do with race but they do not make a cute couple at all

Jess Here

I think it was because how he was laying in Rick's arms lifeless. That doesn't happen after a bite. They did hear a gunshot. They had a conversation about it. The wolf guy said it was someone fighting back. So she probably did piece the two together when she saw how Carl looked.

Jess Here

If you search on YouTube for Ryan Waller interrogation you will watch a good example of how crazy bullet wounds to the head can be. I won't give any other spoilers. The case was also on an episode of First 48 while in Arizona. My mind was so blown that I had to find the entire interrogation.

Karina

I wish he would actually immerse himself in the story. The corny jokes are funny but man you over do it and always distracts the other guy.

* The title of the episode, "No Way Out", comes from Tara mentioning "There's no way out of the house". * It is also referencing the nature of the episode, in the fact that many residents are trapped inside their homes with no way out, and the fact that Rick's group had tried to escape but were unsuccessful. In the end, the group takes on the walker herd and secures Alexandria. Referencing that that was the only solution, since there was no way out. * This is the fifth episode to share the same title of a Comic Series volume, after "Days Gone Bye", "Made to Suffer", "This Sorrowful Life", and "Too Far Gone". * This episode, along with "Days Gone Bye", "A New Beginning", "A Certain Doom", "Here's Negan", and "Rest in Peace" are the only episodes to be directly adapted from the respective comic volumes of the same name. The other eight used the titles for episodes that are not directly related to the source material from that volume. * The episode's exact runtime is 00:42:55. * As of this episode, Tovah Feldshuh (Deanna Monroe) is no longer listed under "Also Starring". * Katelyn Nacon (Enid) is upgraded from "Co-Star" to "Also Starring" in this episode. * This is the first mid-season premiere to not have more views than the season's mid-season finale. * This episode marks Alanna Masterson's 25th appearance on the TV Series. * This episode marks the first time that a child character has been seen devoured alive in the TV Series. * This differs from the deaths of both Sophia (who was both bitten and turned off-screen) and Meghan, who was severely bitten and died from blood loss. * This is the first episode of Season 6 that Glenn, Abraham, Sasha and Daryl appear in Alexandria in the current timeline of the story. The scenes in which they all appeared in Alexandria during the premiere were all flashbacks, and technically took place before the Season 6 narrative. * This is the first episode since S6EP1 "First Time Again" that all of the credited actors appeared. * When Rick carried an unconscious Carl throughout the herd, Andrew Lincoln was actually carrying a dummy of Chandler Riggs. * On a Reddit post, Chandler Riggs confirms that it was scripted and filmed for Carl to lose his eye jumping in front of Rick to protect him from Ron, but this was edited out later. * The way Abraham and Sasha saved Glenn reflects the way that they saved him back in S4EP15 "Us". * Excluding walkers, there were two characters that became amputees in this episode. * Jessie Anderson got her hand chopped off by Rick Grimes (albeit to save Carl, as she was being devoured and was grasping onto his hand). * Carl Grimes got his right eye shot out by Ron Anderson. * This is the highest ranked episode of The Walking Dead in IMDb (9.6), alongside S4EP8 "Too Far Gone". * When Rick is talking to unconscious Carl at the end of the episode, he says "there's gotta be more after". This is likely a reference to Jessie's words to him in S6EP5 "Now", before the pair kissed. * This episode is tied with S4EP8 "Too Far Gone" and S5EP1 "No Sanctuary" as the highest rated episode of the series according to IMDb. * To help eliminate the walkers, Daryl uses a tanker's oil to start a massive fire so that they get attracted and consumed by the flames. This is similar to the story Dwight told Daryl about how he burned the forest in S6EP6 "Always Accountable". * Furthermore, they both used one of A.A. Pattrick Fuel Co.'s tankers to execute the plan.

* The cold open with Sasha, Abraham, Daryl, and the Saviors takes place at the curve of a road, while the post-credits scene is on a straight one. The time of day seems to have changed as well. This is likely simply a production oversight. * When Daryl blew the Saviors up in the beginning of the episode, we do not see the rocket impact. The explosion appears to be spontaneous. * When Rick walks out of the door (and pulls out his hatchet), his hatchet appears to be clean even though he previously used it to chop off Jessie's arm, and there was no seen point where he could have cleaned it. * Ron was not aiming at Carl's eye, more his stomach/groin area when the shot was fired. The bullet should not have hit his eye. * Right after Rick picks Carl up from the floor to carry him to the infirmary, Michonne slashes at walkers to clear his path. Michonne slashes five times, but the third and fourth slashes leave no corpses behind, as if she had slashed at nothing. * After Eric and Olivia come out of the house to help Rick and the others, Rosita and Carolcould be seen fighting walkers behind them, while in fact at that moment, they were still with Morgan, Tara, and Eugene. * After Eric and Olivia come out of the house to help Rick and the others, Aaron is shown as fighting alongside them. In the next frame, however, he is back in the main circle of survivors fighting off walkers. * When Abraham and Sasha appear on the wall and save Glenn with assault rifle fire, their stances are flipped with Abraham using his rifle right handed and Sasha using hers left handed. In the next shot of Abraham, he returns to using his left hand. * After Owen is shot by Carol, it is shown that he was devoured by a group of walkers, however after Morgan comes across him as a walker, his corpse does not appear to have any damage whatsoever. * Near the end of the episode, when all survivors have gathered on the porch of the infirmary, the pregnancy of Alanna Masterson (Tara) is clearly visible when Tara is pacing back and forth.

Daryl literally took down the tank at the prison with a grenade. An RPG could take it down too if you aim it in the right spot.
