I love Rick stealing the junkyard cat statue as the callback to the Michonne stealing that cat statue in "Clear" when she got the picture of Carl's family in the bar, and she had that statue in her cell/room in season 4 lol. I love that Rick knows that Michonne loves art. Perhaps it's because it came up randomly in a casual conversation they've had, like about hobbies pre-apocalypse, or it's just something he'd noticed about her, or maybe he just always remembered that weird, random cat statue just sitting in her cell/room, even when she wasn't there lol...

If so it would be cool to know where he's at and his opinion of the characters now vs them in the beginning. Daryl and carol have definitely had some major character development. Yes, in Richonners eyes, Richonne is married at this point, but also not? To be fair, we'd been calling them basically a married couple that's been tiptoeing around their relationship as it gradually progressed and evolved, until they finally made their actual romantic relationship official since like early season 5, and been gave the whole family ship name Grimes 2.0.(we had hoped for maybe a Richonne Baby one to it complete the set lol) since maybe around early-mid season 5. There is a specific episode that Richonners declared as two kinda contradictory milestones lol (I believe y'all just live reacted to the one I'm referencing to yesterday, so I'll wait lol)...

Funny you made that comment about Glenn & Carol because in the comics, before he met Maggie, Glenn had a crush on Carol(she was about in her 30s I think, or maybe late 20s), but Tyrese, the ex-NFL football player, snagged her first as soon as he came in the picture lol. I think Maggie was the one who noticed Glenn side-eyeing, shooting eye dagger at Tyrese all of the time and he ended up confessing why(but also mentioned that she was also the only single woman that was in their camp at the time, until meeting Maggie on Hershel's farm), which in turn the Glenn/Maggie relationship began lol..

Actress playing Jadis is phenomenal - nothing like her character. But Jadis is weird! The bangs and the voice are creepy. Rick taking the cat for Michonne is a great callback to season 3.
