why does Addison try to justify Negan’s actions so bad?🤣🤣 like dude is actively seeking out communities to enslave. He didn’t kill all of the Rick’s group not because he’s kind or humane or whatever, but just because if he killed all of em, there wouldn’t be anyone left to serve him

Never have I ever justified him killing folks, enslaving folks, or stealing folks wives (or ANY other terrible thing he does). Never ever. What he did to Glenn & Abraham was the worst thing I personally feel like I have seen on a series. All I pose is a question of why people feel like it's okay for the people you "like" and or "know" to do terrible things out of understanding for the plight and journey but anybody else is automatically discarded? -Adison (with just one "d" in my name)

my bad, Adison, I get what you’re saying, but honestly I don’t think anyone still sees Rick and his group as “the good guys” after like season 5. I didn't like the way that they attacked Negan’s compound, i mean without any real recon or planning, but at the same time, if you know there’s a group out there that’s actively enslaving communities and already killed a 16 year old kid, you can’t just wait around and hope they never find you, that’s basically another “wolves” situation waiting to happen, even though it's some dark stuff it needs to be done, and getting supplies from hilltop from that is just a bonus. The difference for me is that Negan’s actions weren’t about survival, with the amount of people he had, they could’ve been scavenging and farming and stuff instead of using other communities for resources

Trigger Warning: S.A. One of the wild things that Negan fans get me with is that they try to say that Negan has morals because he doesn't approve of r@pe, when he's literally r@ping his wives through coercion. You don't have to force yourself on someone, or drug someone for it to be r@pe. Doing it through coercion is not only still morally disgusting, but is also illegal, as it falls under what is classified as r@pe. These women are stuck with him under the THREAT of them, and/or their loved ones, being put in a way worse, most likely life-threatening position if they choose the leave the marriage. Basically, "Stay with me, don't cheat on me while I get to sleep with and marry whomever I want(as long as she says 'Yes'), or I'll make you and your loved ones lives hell." wantsLike he did with young Amber, by basically threatening her, her mom, and ex-boyfriend. Negan is still a r@pist that. He just so happened to kill another r@pist because he doesn't approve/condone his style of doing it, while most likely having complete lack of self awareness that he too is one of them. without even realizing that that's what he's doing, because he doesn't view as what it really is. He's the guy that believes, "Yes", is consent, no matter how he got it... With that said, I'm glad Negan got Davey out of there. That was the same creeper that was trying to prey on Enid in Alexandria, as well. So, he's not only just a predator, but a child predator, at that... ETA: Negan does have a black wife in his harem...

I can't trust Dwight because he's too shifty. I'd trust Simon before Dwight and here's why... Dwight has been under Negan. Betrayed Negan. Went back to Negan. He was with Daryl. Betrayed Daryl. He also does shifty stuff while under Negan. He set people up. He killed people. Dwight is waaay too shifty with his loyalty. I'd believe Simon because at least he's consistent so if he changes loyalty, it has a higher chance being real.

People at war over certain fans liking or agreeing with Negan AT TIMES (nobody likes or agrees with him all the time). Yall the kind of people to scream nuance but can't see any. Negan was literally written to deliver some of the most hidden and complex lessons this show needed. Buuuut also do some of the most heinous things this show DIDNT need. That's just it point blank. there's really no arguing over whether he's right or wrong in certain situations. He's always VERY clearly wrong or VERY clearly right. Which is why some can't help but to call out when he's right.... Or laugh at his jokes because yes he's a monster but he be funny and you can never tell me he's not.

What's insane is that I've been on Brandon side 100% until Negan was introduced. Brandon's ability to gymnastics his way into "couldnt be me" is hilarious. I still rock wit him but he has absolutely shown through his past comments that he would be a soldier for either side. Now i do think eventually he'd leave or lead a revolt in the saviors.

No. The promise Cindy keeps referring to was the one Tara made with her specifically after Cindy stopped them from assassinating her... again, and led her to the bridge to help get her home. This deal was made AFTER they tried to kill her. So yes, Tara IS in the wrong for breaking the promise. She's the one who reneger here this time. Not them...

Negan doesn't exactly 'steal' wives. ALL of his wives AGREED to the arrangement. He doesn't force anyone. My thoughts on Dwight here was that he wouldn't risk going to Alexandria where Daryl and Tara are if he didn't really want to help. It was a big risk for him to show up there when so many people want to kill him.

No, he offered Amber to go back to Mark and he even offered to have them working the same jobs together. He said he didn't want anyone there who didn't want to be there. These girls are not coerced in that regard. They are offered a better life, not have to work for points or get access to extras.... these women are prostituting themselves out here. Prostitutes sleep with men for money... these women sleep with Negan for a better, more comfortable life style.

It’s definitely forced just not “physically” forced. He’s trading resources for a sexual relationship… in the apocalypse that can be life or death. And in Sherry’s case it was literally life or death when it came to her husbands life. Negan was going to kill Dwight until Sherry begged him not to & volunteered to be one of his wives. A woman can’t possible consent when her or her family’s life is in danger, same way she can’t consent under the influence. Just because she’s not kicking and screaming doesn’t mean it’s not still rape.

In real life... sometimes it is a life or death situation for a woman when she accepts cash from a man for sex. These women are prostituting themselves out for a better life. I don't feel sorry for them. They could decide to work for points and have less luxury but at least have some self respect. They aren't being forced so the choice they make is theirs.

Sasha didn't mean it when she said Rick, your bitch, she was just trying to lead negan away from what Rick and them planned. Rosita told Sasha Rick and Michonne found guns but they wasn't ready to move it because they didn't have enough people, so Sasha knew her people was planning something and negan brought it. Also that guy was the same guy who Carl fired a gun at when Negan and his people 1st came to Alexandria, also the same one who was harassing Enid about her ballons. Negan said he don't condone r*pe but yet he have other men wives as his wives and there was a black wife among the 6. She just didn't get as much airtime as the others. Yeah these men do bad things and they do it in his name which is why I can't give him a pass.
