I haven't watched yet, and I missed the live, but Brandon? You gonna put some respect back on Carl Grimes name? You said he wasn't about that life. I always tell people, there two things about Carl that will forever be true to his core. 1) He's has a good heart in always trying to help somebody, even strangers. 2) That man do NOT play about his. He saw Auntie Walker Sasha lunge at Negan and that had him ALL the way effed up. He didn't even care or think about the fact that he and the rest of them literally had guns to the back of their head(which I admit was reckless as hell, and maybe not the choice I would done, but it's time to start calling him "Cleo" because he Set It Off 😆). Just like Carl shot The Governor and kicked off the battle, after Grandpa Herhel got The Chop. And he was ready trying to shoot him earlier but Daryl back him down. He just said, "I'm a good shot", but when Hershel got GOT, both Rick & Carl shot first, but Carl definitely was the one who got the hit on The Governor and he was probably 100 yards away and Rick right on the other side of the fence in front of the Governor lol. I just need the fandom to put respect on my son's name, is all lol. CARL 👏🏾 DOES 👏🏾 NOT 👏🏾 PLAY 👏🏾...

Man, my heart breaks everytime Maggie & Jesus finds Walker Sasha. I feel like Sasha & Maggie had a very underrated bond. The shared trauma, holding each other up in times of grief and pain. They healed together. They were my Sister Kickass Girl Power Duo from the moment they hit the back 2 back taking out the walkers in that small town together when Maggie waited for Sasha to find Glemn and the conversation they had afterwards...

"ALEXANDRIA WILL NOT FALL! NOT ON THIS DAY!" When I tell you they got the perfect actor to play King Ezekiel. I because I still get chills at that moment! I don't think I ever got hyped as I did in that moment when I first watched it. He's definitely in Top 5 talker/speech maker in the series for me. Maybe in the Top 3... IDC. I still love Jadis as a character. If Negan can have groupies in the fandom, I can be a Jadis fan 🤷🏾‍♀️. She out of pocket on asking Michonne if she can take a ride on the Grimesmobile post-battle though, especially when she already knew she was gonna betray them. You know what they say though. "A closed mouth don't get fed". 😆😭.

Sasha's intent was to not allow Negan to use her against her people. She wanted to die so Negan didn't have that card to play. She sacrificed herself for her group.

I love the speech Maggie gave at the end. You guys didn't even really talk about it. It summed up the entire show, what it is about, how it came to be... how that one action of Glenn led Rick to be the type of leader he became and how they risk themselves for each other.

This is one of my favorite episodes I wanted Sasha to bite Negan's nose off then his eyeball and his throat I hate that Negan.... as the guys would say I always scream when Rick tell Negan I already told you I'm going to kill you!! For anyone wondering. Sasha went on to the Star Trek show on Paramount plus. She was the first leading black female and also the first black female captain of a ship in a Star Trek property. So that’s why things happened the way they did. I think she told AMC to write her off.

I still like Sasha more than Michael Burnham, the character Sonequa left TWD to play in Star Trek Discovery. This was a tough finale, especially with her leaving. Season 7 dvd box cover had Negan as the front character. I hated the elevation of Negan this season. Maggie’s monologue did a great job of explaining why the show was so popular. It’s about a chosen family with Rick as the leader! Glenn’s decision to help Rick started it all. Enjoy next season!

Wish y'all wouldn't INSIST on talking over dialogue even this far into the series. Maggie's dialogue was one of the best ties to illustrate their entire journey and the final ode to Glenn and you talked over it.. 🙄

This is when Danai/Michonne went to make the 1st Black Panther, they had to do something to keep my girl off screen and having her get beat up was it because we all know Michonne would have beat that lady. Rick thinking he lost his wife and still putting up a good fight in front of Negan always gets me. I was so happy when Rick and Carl found Michonne ok and got We're the Ones Who Live. Another of my favorite episode of S7. And go Shiva!

I think that if Eugene had given Sasha a knife or another actual weapon that she would of tried for neagan but Eugene gave her poison, you can see that play of emotion on her face when she realizes that the only way was for her to die. RIP Sasha 😢

Recently joined and have been enjoying your TWD reactions so much. I'm generally shy to comment, but was compelled for this eps because Sasha's death and the choice of Donnie Hathaway's song strikes a profound chord with me for many reasons. Sasha committed a kamazi act. The song she listens to throughout eps 7x16 is "Someday We'll All Be Free" by Donnie Hathaway who died by suicide on January 13, 1979 which is also my birth date. Donnie strugged with mental illness, was possibly schizophrenic for much of his life. I too, struggle with mental illness and sadly lost my brother to suicide. It's such a triggering episode, but so profound.
