MALI

Let’s go !

Harmony

Yay!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Mackendie

I can't wait to react to this video in 20 minutes I'll be back

Cacha

Let’s gooooooo

Serenity La’sandra

In Daryl’s defense.. at this point he was still planning on on surrendering Rick. That first camp, it’s been YEARS. In that time Daryl has become Rick’s brother fr. He sees someone holding his brother at gunpoint, gonna give him away to their enemy, and just like bro said so much has happened since then, they’re all different people. He doesn’t know him anymore. Not in the same way that Rick has become his brother.

Serenity La’sandra

I don’t think Rick would have killed him right away, he would have 100% talked to him and if it was between them two, if he had to after speaking with him and there was no other way then he would. But if he could hold him there, try to talk to him I believe he would try to suede him to be on their side

shemeka_blackscorpion

Adison this is war... anybody that's negan is getting dealt with especially if there's no reasoning with them... morales was negan all the way... Daryl did what he suppose to do... morales ain't the same morales and Daryl ain't the same Daryl we met at the beginning... negan and his people put Daryl through some mess all because he didn't wanna say he's negan

Kolby Owens

It was in fact not a good fight morgan got his ass whooped

Athasin

"He's gonna need another name after this." There is a reason they call him Jesus.

Rosedawson87

Daryl was tortured. He gets a pass

Hanna

It's war, the backup was coming cuz he called them!! Yes made the right choice popping both dudes! Rocking with evil ppl and had to go! Dudes made their choices & group to be with!

Aaliyah

In all fairness, up until Rick showed up, I really don’t think Daryl cared that much about anyone in that camp besides Merle.

Tyah Reacts

Amazing acting on his part right there👏🏾, definitely felt the weight of the loss he was experiencing.

Lit scoota♥️

I hope the pastor laying prayer hands on negan 🤣

Kimberly Weaver

Maybe I’m evil, but no one lives if I was there. Not sorry. Done with the games!

Lit scoota♥️

And my boy Daryl on it this episode. My boy was eating 💩sandwhiches dog food sandwiches and a piece of Abraham the return of the slick haired archer 🏹

Ashleigh

17:46 I feel like Daryl is like the middle child. He be going through it and we don’t notice because it’s Daryl… ya know? But he’s been tortured… isolated…. enslaved. He tried to help people and not only did they screw him over and rob him but consequently those same people came back and killed his loved ones. His whole foundation has been rocked and he’s on 100% survival mode, so he absolutely doesn’t care about Morales. Like ya’ll said it’s “us vs them” and he has the wrong jersey on

Rah29

King Ezekiel is a top tier character 😎

jv

Addison is 2 soft🤦‍♂️aint no talking pick a side..dude said he is negan,the end🤷‍♂️

everydaynegroes

I’ll be the 1st to tell you I’m not a cold blooded killer. Never acted like one and never plan on acting like one. 🤷🏾‍♂️ -Adison

jv

Addison in the context of this show that soft stuff wont fly..some ppl can't be reasoned with, some ppl just wanna see the world burn and if you are negan you need to be put down..crazy part is that the leader of the saviors isnt even the worst person in the group..they got rapist and all kind of scum

Jacena

Rick with the camera?!?! omg! now that’s my type of getting back 😂

everydaynegroes

I don’t feel like considering someone’s life is “soft”. But I understand that it is a zombie apocalypse and certain tough decisions have to be made. But again as for me “offing” someone is not always my first choice. -Adison

Dante

We need the next episode tonight😭😭😭

Ron Derrick

Rick wouldn’t have just killed Morales. He was trying to talk him down. Rick has never been cold blooded toward people he had a positive relationship with in the past.

jv

When dealing with negan's shoot first and ask questions never just shoot some more...i even agree with morgan wanting to kill the ppl they captured..those ppl are not good ppl..i will say that the guy darryl killed who they asked about the guns id have let him go but everyone else id have hit the off button on

Monica

I'm gonna piggyback on Daryl's defense of killing Todd. He shot at them first, giving away he was even there. He could've hit Rick, but luckily missed. Had he stayed hidden behind the tree, he would be still alive now.

KING Guyton

If you went through the things daryl did with the saviors you would probably do the same thing

Logan

Aaron is becoming a solid side character for sure! He’s always been one of my favourites from Alexandria.

Peter

Y'all right Morgan and Tara especially are doing too much. As for Todd he made a deal with Rick not Daryl. Just like Rosita last season. Bloodthirsty. Morgan can't be around others and Jesus is taking a chance. It's tough.

Mackendie

I never knew about Todd you guys really pay attention to details I love you guys prediction in this episode it comes true also love you guys reaction to The walking Dead and your opinions. Keep up the great work guys I love how you guys put together that Gavin's group going to have the M2 machine gun type of weapon to use against King Ezekiel and the Kingdom it's what happened to them and yes they are loyal they jump in front of King 🤴🏾Ezekiel to protect him that's love right there

Courtney Jayd

I respect everyone’s opinion. Valid points made on both sides.

Tyler Renshaw

Man I’m so glad Osafa joined. I love big back 😂

Unhinged Official

wait...is "Todd" at the end the one and only Mouth? 😂 iykyk.

Casey

Timeline Update: It’s day 646, Rick and Co. have been living through the apocalypse for 21 months.

Monica

@45:00 "You need to get your dog on a lease". Dwight and the Saviors were technically treating Daryl like a dog when they held him captured. Besides feeding him dog food. Dwight literally was holding him by his shirt when walking him around. So we can't be suprised when Daryl doesn't want anyone left alive to return later to kill them. Sorry or not.

Lilith

Just an idea. But yall should have a fan favorite night. And let your Patron members vote on past episodes for the newbie’ to watch. Because he has missed each ones important moments that changed them into who they are not. Definitely needs to watch the first one.

vanessa

Agreed. i feel why daryl doesn’t want to give any of these “people” any chances. tbh i wouldn’t wanna take that gamble either. better be safe than sorry bc if the roles were reversed we know the saviors definitely wouldn’t care who they kill or why

Queen S

I'm with you Brandon get rid of every last one of them negan's they have to go I'm like Daryl I don't care one little bit about Todd he had just shot at them I don't trust none of them and Daryl doesn't either I don't care about Dwight helping that's the least he can do after everything he's done. They send Morgan back to crazy Town after he tried so hard to hold on to his humanity those are the kind of people Negan and the saviors are

Rindamarie

It is interesting how they protected Ezekiel! It says a lot about his leadership.

Cnz43

Love you all so much fr God (Jesus Christ) is good forever amen Romans 10:9 - If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

james moore

Morales had all day to drop his gun, call of the saviors and join. He chose Negan so he chose death. And what if Todd hit Rick in the head? Its not like he tried to miss

Allure

Great reaction as always fellas! Just my two cents… people deal with grief and trauma differently. Just because one person deals with their trauma one way doesn’t mean others have to or should react the same way as those people who have more control. Trauma affects the brain differently in different individuals. I think the show does an amazing job at showcasing how everyone handles their trauma in a different way because it’s not so black and white.

Nicky A

Y'all introduce these folks to "what If"

Tyah Reacts

The timeline isn’t that accurate, I mean look at Judith, shes already about 2 or 3 years old and you can’t forget the 9months of pregnancy. Plus look at Carl, yes chandler Riggs is a growing young adult but Carl is definitely way more than just 21 months older than he was when the show first started.

connie

Jesus doesn't want to kill them because it's a "war crime" to kill surrendered enemies, and it's no longer self defense, it's just murder.

KBaily

My opinion: Daryl does not care at all about Morales because he had no connection to him back in the day, he had Rick at gunpoint, and then he turned and pointed it at him. Daryl is TIRED of giving ppl chances. They have been in this long enough for everyone to have chosen their sides. With just Rick, I think they would have just talked and talked until they fell asleep lol.

Mate

They gotta go regardless, all of them

Sabrina

Fellas, think about which person in Rick's group who pretends to be weak, scared and vulnerable in order to disarm their enemy....Carol herself! Next thing you know, she's killed everybody! This is why we can't trust little Todd or ANYONE on Negan's side who appears to be scared. Can't be trusted. We've seen it firsthand! Todd, Morales, everybody had to go. We are in war.

Sam Bond

And yet I smile 😤

Digital Alikin

I do agree with Addison tho .. you can't lose your humanity winning the war just look at what happened with Carol that shits gonna eventually eat at you killing when you sometimes don't have to

Monica

Agreed, Morales only lowered his gun when he knew it was Glenn who was killed. And I could care less about Todd after he shot at them first.

dumivfx

Daryl didn’t care about anyone from the Atlanta camp besides Merle at first, if you remember back in season 3 when Daryl and Merle got reunited and Daryl left with him for a short time, they had a little argument and Merle said “bet you ain’t told them that we were planning to rob that camp blind” or something along those lines, so Daryl saw Morales basically as just another savior that was trying to kill Rick

Monica

I think we already learn the rules of law doesn't apply anymore.

Monica

Nope, Morales would've handed Rick over to the Saviors.

Sabrina

Adison is a good dude, he always wants to find a way where the least amount of people are harmed and I'm coming to appreciate that more as yall continue to watch.

CorsonDrax

yall are tripping. That's worse than Negan at that point.

CorsonDrax

So??? He fired a shot out of Fear and clearly had 0 fighting skills. Shooting him after giving him your word like that is sick. Negan would consider that worse than Lucilling someone.

CorsonDrax

Todd did not have to die that way. They could have easily taken him back and imprisoned him with the other Saviors. That kill was out of line.

CorsonDrax

He wasn't pretending either. We saw how he was with the Saviors, he was still sorry.

CorsonDrax

saying "people" is crazy. Some of them are just like us. Nobody asks to be a Savior, some people just happened to end up with Rick, some people just happened to end up with Negan. It's like blaming people who were drafted to fight alongside Germany.

Sabrina

I get why you feel that way! I understand both sides. Is it ideal to kill him? No. Would I be mad Darryl for doing it? No

Sabrina

But rick and Darryl dont know that

KBaily

If Rick didn’t shoot his walkie first. He’d rather convince him to come over to his side. Again, just my opinion.

Monica

As far as we know Todd wasn't working for points. If he was at an outpost, we can assume he was preparing to fight in the war too. Also as mentioned many times before he could've simply left the post once the others were killed. It was his choice to shoot at Rick and Daryl. Which resulted in him revealing himself when he could've stayed hidden.

SRGC1978

Agreed 100%. Not to be hyperbolic but it’s like saying there were good Nazis that were just doing their jobs. NOPE. You with Negan, u can’t in any way be a decent person and u have to take responsibility for choosing that life. Seeing the humanity in people who want to see u dead or at best are indifferent to your humanity is not something I’m interested in.

Queen S

Thank you that's what I'm saying

SRGC1978

Addison, my dude, ALL OF THESE PEOPLE ARE COMPLICIT. They have stood around and watched other people get raped, murdered, subjugated, and robbed. Their being sorry or weak or whatever doesn't negate the fact that they stood around and let all of this happen. You can make the argument that they did what they had to do to survive, but ask yourself, would you? I don't think you would because you have a moral code; they don't. WE DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH FASCISTS! LOL

CorsonDrax

But there were Nazis who just happened to fight for them (cause they were in Germany). Not everyone knew they were the bad guys back then.

Avishai

Morgan pleading insanity because he lost made my stomach hurt, it was so funny

Queen S

I agree with you 100%

Shawnda L

Disagree with adison again it hurts me to say. 100% rick would NOT have shot morales if he had the gun. It would be the same convo Rick is a loyal guy he would’ve asked morales what happened and how he ended up with Negan and he would’ve have assessed if Morales was truly down with Negan.

Amber

I've never given this any thought before now, but I'm going to say Daryl was right because the guy shot at them first. They were all loading up trying to leave and didn't know he was there. He could have stayed hidden and waited until they were gone, but instead he shot at them. Too big a risk.

Ryùuzaki

Easy to make such decisions from a third perspective. Also different if you have a family living in that place. No sane dad would accept to let these men live with his kids. The same men that witnessed and likely committed murder, rape, abuse etc.

Ryùuzaki

ngl I rock with Daryl shooting that guy. He's the enemy. It's a war. If I let him leave he'll just go back to the negan squad and try to kill more of us eventually. Let alone the fact that HE SHOT AT THEM FIRST and missed.

Sabrina

I feel you for sure. It's also just as easy to have a third party perspective and say "kill everybody" in a situation I've never been in. Who knows if I'd have the ability to actually do that if this was real life. And I'm definitely on team everybody gotta go, take no prisoners. I appreciate the other side of that argument more than I used to.

Sabrina

If Morales was unwavering in his loyalty to negan, even after rick told him everything, do you think he would have killed him eventually?

Menia Battle

I don't blame Daryl for shooting that guy. He let Dwight and Sherry go and look at what they did.

Chino-22

It felt wrong when Daryl said "It don't matter" after shooting Morales. Everybody has a story. Unfortunate for Morales that it had to be Daryl of All people to come across him.

Shawnda L

I think Rick would have took it up with the group for the decision. especially since carol and Darryl knew morales before, they’re allowing some trust with Dwight and he’s in the same scenario

VirgosGrooveXO

Darryl was beaten as a kid, so him getting beat again as a prisoner at the sanctuary is probably another reason why he was ruthless in that moment with the saviors

Shaly Davenport

I teared up when they tackled Ezekiel and screamed "Cover the King". To believe in someone so much you'd give your lives for them is wild.

Cleo Griffith

R.I.P to Eric. I did not feel anything for Marales, he said he was Negan and was willing to give up Rick. Honestly they should have killed all the neganites bcuz we don't have the man power to watch them or the food to feed them.

Jess Here

Daryl heard all that crap Morales was speaking. I don't blame him for not caring who he was, obviously Morales didn't care who they were. Daryl was with Morales for maybe a few months, he's been with Rick for years.

Isis Atlantis

Aaron (Ross Marquand) played Red Skull in Avengers Infinity war and End Game.

Coach Chris

It really seems like Daryl is taking Morgan old ways because of the trauma he went through….EVERYBODY CLEARS

Camillionaire

That look Brandon gave Adison when he misnamed Enid for the umpteenth time 🤣😂

Camillionaire

Gregory has the nerve of a thousand cowards right now to show up at Hilltop after switching and snitching in alphabetical order. 🤣😂

Camillionaire

Adison stop! I can not! 😂Eric did not get translated but zombiefied 🧟‍♂️ RIP Eric!

Camillionaire

Little Todd played on the show One Tree Hill as Marvin McFadden aka Mouth. It is was unfortunate he came across Daryl in his current state of mind. I agree Daryl was most certainly triggered after seeing his place of torture. I wish he wouldn't have shot at them first that most certainly sealed his fate with Daryl.

Camillionaire

Dwight had an ulterior motive in the end. He hates Negan. Rick, Alexandria, Hilltop and Kingdom are helping him to end Negan. But Daryl helping him and his wife helped Dwight to see that Rick and them could be trusted. Also Dwight's wife did let Daryl out because of his actions beforehand too.

Naya

I feel like a lot of people never know what they want from Rick because when he does kill they think he is is being a monster and unfair but when he doesn’t and tries to do the right thing he is being too “soft” and trusting

Austin Hogan

Yeah, Robert Kirkman, the same dude who made The Walking Dead also made marvel zombies, which is actually now turning into a show

Camillionaire

Masterabstract

Daryl let Dwight and his wife go, and that created deaths and misery for his people. He felt that his loose ends were a potential risk that he couldn't afford not to deal with. Letting people go has drastic consequences in this world.

* The title of the episode, "Monsters", comes from two instances: * Morales calls Rick a monster. * Gregory calls the captured Saviors that are sent to the Hilltop Colony monsters. * This episode marks Ross Marquand's 25th appearance on the TV Series. * This episode continues this Season's trend of making call-backs to events that happened in Season 1 to celebrate the milestone of one-hundred episodes. * Eric bleeds out and dies lying underneath a tree, just like Jim died the same way in S1EP5 "Wildfire", but from a walker bite. Additionally, they both willingly die alone and turn into walkers, without being put down afterwards. * Among other call-backs, the bloody handcuffs in S8EP2 "The Damned", Morales' return, and the gas station scene from S8EP1 "Mercy" that mirrors the first minutes of S1EP1 "Days Gone Bye". Morales also calls Rick "Officer Friendly", which is the nickname the latter introduced himself as to Merle Dixon. * Morales refers to Rick as "peaches" in this episode, most likely a nod to the Georgia peach, as Rick was born in Georgia. * The adaption of Eric's death in Issue 118 is altered in this episode in which he dies from blood loss via being shot in the stomach instead of being shot in the head and dying instantly. * After Aaron tells Eric he loves him for the last time, Eric replies "I've always had a hunch," and the two smile. Ross Marquand and Jordan Woods-Robinson revealed that this was a callback to the first time Aaron and Eric expressed their love for each other. After several dates, Aaron said to Eric that he loved him, to which Eric responded he "had a hunch." * With at least 93 deaths, this episode has the second largest death count among episodes of the series so far.

Austin

* In the home media release of this episode, when Aaron calls out for Eric after he has turned, the subtitles say "Aaron!", not "Eric!".

SpaceSkeleton

im mad late but ima say my thoughts anyway. im not mad at daryl for shooting todd but its insane y'all are defending it and saying thats what he HAD to do or that you would've aswell. In an actual war it is a literal war crime to shoot a enemy that is surrendering so lets not act like this is just a normal thing to do, we should be better than the saviors not stoop to their level.
