Ain’t nothin like a TWD episode to brighten my day 🥹

Steven Ellis

Negan is that dude, I rock with you Addison lol

Constantdev

Ezekiel actually said he did a lot of acting in plays for theater, when he was first talking to Carol when she first met him, also I haaaate how they did Shiva :(

Serenity La’sandra

I never noticed it before, and I’m sure yall wouldn’t know but in the comments you may, that Big John from outer banks was one of the ones with their guns pointed at Carol.

Ginger Snaps

I rather be near a tiger then a walker or the saviors

Harmony

Yay!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Redninjaturtle23

Can y’all react to Ted movies and tv series

Rah29

Rip Shiva

Queen S

I am a action junkie and these last couple of episodes gave me the action I needed but I'm crying my eyes out over CGI tiger RIP my beloved Shiva 😭😭😭

Xeea

Negan is evil as hell

ERIK

Not really, there are worse people out there

Steven Ellis

Shiva dying wasn’t a budget thing it was part of Zekes character arch, he lost his entire army an shiva this gon hit him hard he wanted to die so he wouldn’t have to face the families back home. King zeke will rise again ✊🏽

Marrkaink

Yes, Shiva could realistically take down more than 5-6 walkers, but the show chose symbolism and budget over zoological accuracy. Her death was less about how many walkers there were and more about Ezekial losing his final symbol of power. Shiva's death makes more sense if you see it as instinct and trauma colliding: tigers are wired to kill living prey, not rotting flesh that bites back without fear, so she hesitated after the first zombie; the stench repelled her, the behavior confused her, and past trauma from being injured and saved from walkers by Ezekial at the beginning of the apocalypse resurfaced. Layer that with the show's need for symbolism and budget limits, and her death reads less as "a tiger lost to 5 zombies" and more as a tragic full-circle sacrifice.

Corey Chaves

lmao yall called cap on shiva but not that 50cal. car chase scene. that 50 should have tore up daryl and rick and their vehicles with ease. instead that 50 barely put a dent in the jeeps radiator. i blame the director though. big L on the realism of this episode.

everydaynegroes

lol dang I'd rather be near some walkers I can't lie...At least I know for sure they are trying to kill me whereas with a tiger I'd hate to think we were cool and then they try to eat me... -Adison

Ginger Snaps

lol very true .. I just love Shiva!!

Tyah Reacts

Our beloved Shiva 🐅, gone but never forgotten 🤧❤️

shemeka_blackscorpion

Rip Shiva... it cost them a lot of money every time Shiva made an appearance so they had to get rid of her... but in their world I feel soooo bad for the king... he lost all his people then he lost his beloved Shiva... he wanted to sacrifice himself because he realized his people sacrificed themselves for him thinking he's really a king... he left with hundreds of people and Shiva and only 3 came back... he's about to shut all the way down 😢

Peter

Rip Shiva, the kingdom's soldiers, Ezekiel's spirit confidence and persona because that is over with.

Tom Vp

A 50cal round to the center of a limb will likely rip that limb off. Supposedly from the right gun and at a short distance a bullet in the stomach can rip a man in half. Source: I liked watching cartel / te**or videos as a teenager on liveleak 🤣

Junior

We having Tiger meat for tonight

KING Guyton

They had to get rid of shiva definitely because of budget 😂 ain't no way a full grown tiger is getting took down by some walkers

SERIN

Rip shiva 🫡🫡

Sam Bond

And yet i smile

Mackendie

RIP Shiva 🐯🐅 she jumped in just like King Ezekiel 👑 did for her long ago she is returning the favor by saving him you remember King Ezekiel did the same thing with no hesitation he jumped inside the ravine to save Shiva while she was injured ever since then she been loyal to King Ezekiel 🤴🏾

Nunu Lawson

Rip Shiva and the kingdom warriors🥺, hard episode to watch but at least we have guns.

Decolonial

Poor writing. A common theme with the later TWD seasons.

Rindamarie

The CGI budget was a part time graphic design internship salary on TWD. 😂 How Shiva went out was unrealistic but it did feel story driven. It’s hard watching your reactions. Y’all are fine but I didn’t like this season. Everything that drew me to the show is gone

connie

A lot of people seem to miss the racism of the “Jeffrey Dahmer” Savior. When he smears blood on Ezekiel’s face like “war paint,” he’s essentially calling him a savage rather than a king. The fact that this happens during war makes it even more pointed.

connie

That said they could've put her up against at least a couple dozen to make it more realistic

Willie

About here is where I stopped watching on both watchthroughs. I might actually be able to finish it this time watching via the lads

Sam Bond

I think both times I’ve watched this show I gave up right around the next episode or two

Cleo Griffith

This episode is always sad for me because we lost Shiva and the Kingdon soldiers. R.I.P. to Shiva and the Kingdo n soldiers. Seeing Shiva go down always makes me cry. When this 1st aired I cried over Shiva more than I did Daniel, and he was the 1st 1 we met from the Kingdom. The question now how is Ezekiel gonna go on without his trusted Girl by his side? Yeah the saviors is all about themselves, willing to sacrifice their own to get the job done. They need to change their name from saviors to don't care. I was dreading this episode but I got through it.

Nuffinnbutthetide

Doesn’t make sense how a 600lb tiger could be overpowered by a couple people idc if they was zombies 🤦🏾

Karla Johnson

Yep, you guys are absolutely right. It was a budget thing. The digital effects cost way too much money so they had to kill Sheba. The effects was pretty cool on how they made Sheba.

Camillionaire

This episode definitely hurt. It is very sad. 😔 RIP Shiva. Our girl didn't deserve that death. 😭 Seeing Zeke loose his will to rule and uplift was disheartening. Jeffrey Dalmer dude gave me the ick. The verbal diarrhea that spewed from his malicious mouth was heinous. Zeke was playacting was for a good cause and ultimately helped a community to survive the apocalypse. He gave them a fantasy to believe in. It gave them hope. Zeke established an organized thriving community for good and Negan did his for control and enslavement. JD Negan is an evil vile hater 😒 and is a by product of Negan's rule.

💕Bluntazzkey🫶🏽

I think the show runners said we need a death that’s gunna be hard but it’s for a reason. Ezekiel was giving up and said he was just a guy who found and then BOOM, here come Shiva. I believe it was to be seen as Shiva sacrificing herself for the kingdom and letting that be a moment of okay it’s become a reality and you need to keep going bc I served my purpose you haven’t quite “ cleared” yet you have more time at getting a chance to be free again.

Marcus

This is how Shiva went out in the comics.

isthatchrisk

Damn...I'm disappointed in Brandon. When Carol killed the guys from the ceiling, Addy said "throw a grenade in or something but they can't go back..." i was waiting for "Can't go back, Bob..." :(

Bunnarchist

I know I'm real late to this one but I gotta point out that Shiva's death in this episode is basically identical to how she went out in the comic the show is based on. Yeah it could have also been budget related but it was also just part of Ezekiel's character arc and very important for him as a character, since according to Khary Payton, she was "a symbol and embodiment of the Kingdom itself" so he really did lose everything here

Austin Hogan

.50 cal bullets are just about 3 inches alone while the casing is 5.4 inches even if the bullets are passing you by a foot they will still take off chunks

Austin Hogan

Those were radioactive zombies that ate Shiva what happened in the comics?

Austin

* Daniel Newman (Daniel) is upgraded from "Co-Star" to "Also Starring" in this episode. * The title of the episode, "Some Guy", comes from when Ezekiel claims to Jerry that he's just "some guy" who had a tiger and not a king, after Jerry's insistence of calling him "king". * The unnamed Savior firing the .50 cal gunned down around 34 people, becoming the character with the 5th highest kill count in just one episode. * Carol telling Ezekiel "You don't get to do that" when he asks for Carol and Jerry to leave him behind is reminiscent of Dale saying the exact same words to Andrea when she wanted to stay in the CDC and die in the explosion in S1EP6 "TS-19". * This continues this Season's trend of making call-backs to events that happened in Season 1 to celebrate the milestone of one-hundred episodes. * This is the first episode of Season 8 where the Militia suffers more casualties than the Saviors.

Austin

* Despite being one of those that covered Ezekiel from the bullets, Daniel's body is seen far away from Ezekiel after he wakes up. * After Ezekiel is kidnapped by Gunther, the position of Alvaro's body changes.

SpaceSkeleton

how is this ep poor writing dawg

KairoWick

Carol was really out here 1v20ing and minimum
