The Creeper talks, he has an old western cowboy accent. In the first movie he says the cat lady smells bad but it becomes a deleted scene bc production thought it made the movie less scary. You can find it on YouTube.

I just noticed something. These kids go to a school called Bannon. Darry's shirt in JC1 said Bannon on it and this all happened within days of eachother. So Darry (possibly Trish) went to their school. He had just Graduated and went to college and this team just played their senior game, so they most likely had him as a classmate or knew of him...and aside from it being local news- that could explain their interest in the news update earlier on the radio...
