Harmony

Yay!!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Peter

Definitely good to see the return of Carl, Rosita and Michonne since the premiere.

Nunu Lawson

Literally kept refreshing and waiting all day for this🤣🤣🔥

Emily Jensen

When Carol said "You know what happens to kids when they go wandering around in the woods? They're never seen again, and if they are, they're monsters." It broke me. She was talking about Sophia.

Lilith

I thought I was the only one. lol

Allure

Please watch Wednesday this season is so good 😩

Constantdev

Carl may be a young teen, but he has literally grown up in the brutal apocalypse. He might be the best judge of character yet...

Riah😝

I caught that. I was hoping they would’ve caught it too.

Avishai

Rick's nickname is simply "The Sheriff"

Eric

Probably the worst writing decision happened in this episode

Gabi

It's getting close to the episode that will piss you off. 🫠

Latinblu

And the irony is that’s Sophia’s real life little brother

Kim Magee

For a minute there I didn't think you were going to have Brandon. I was a bit disappointed

Kim Magee

I don't know. Negan has called Rick A few names prick was one of them, Is referred to Carl as the future junior serial killer, so I'm guessing Rick is the senior serial killer

Monica

For those who didn't know the reasoning for the lack of Michonne and Rosita in the first half of the season. The Rosita's actress was pregnant and Michonne was filming the first Black Panther at the time.

Queen S

I caught that too and it made me a little teary eye

EliG

Also ... Sam. The kid she scared to Walker death.

Cnz43

AHH GOD BLESS YOU ALL FR Romans 10:9 - If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. MUCH LOVE

VirgosGrooveXO

The little boy is not from hilltop. He’s from the kingdom, his brother was the guy that got shot during the exchange with the saviors (and that guy tried to sabotage it). The one Morgan was training who died

Cleo Griffith

We have met someone new Siddiq. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? Guys Rosita didn't have any choice but to RPG that guy. She didn't have a weapon and she couldn't take him on 1 and 1 bcuz she's still hurting. You'll see that trash lady wearing Rick's boots? He needs to wash the stench out of then when he get them back, and we know he's gonna get them back bcuz our people always get our stuff back. We even got the RPG back lol.

Camillionaire

Brandon: Her name is Enid Adison hears Unid instead, lol.

Camillionaire

Jadis and her trash behavior has got to stop! 😒

Camillionaire

In dez streetz mix took me OUT! 🤣😂

Camillionaire

Safa "Brunkle" for Aiden as Rick's junior. Igl Aiden's bearded era is strong.

Yo! Blazing Saddles was one of my Pops favorite movies! My Dad had an offbet sense of humor. He taught meat a very young age the healing power of laughter. I grew up watching Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder movies. He was always watching Stand up comedy specials and listening to comedy albums with Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx, and Robin Harris. I was told I was a severely introverted child. I didn't talk much. My Dad said that I came out of my shell when I told my first joke. A very colorful joke I learned at school in the 4th or 5 th grade. Idk remember who told it to me initially. Smh ... the 80's were wild!

Alison Heimgartner

Benjamin, Henry and Sophia are all siblings in real life. If you look at their faces they look so much like each other.

Li peeps!

i did not know this!! wow!!

* This episode is 64 minutes long, according to AMC's schedule. * This is the third extended episode this season and the twenty first extended episode overall. * Sabrina Gennarino (Tamiel) is upgraded from "Co-Star" to "Also Starring" in this episode. * The title of the episode, "The King, the Widow, and Rick", is a reference to the three leaders of the three communities fighting against Negan and the Saviors with "The King" and "The Widow" referencing Ezekiel and Maggie Rhee respectively while Rick has no nickname. * This is how Negan himself and the Saviors refer to the three leaders. This is evidenced by how Morales and Gunther, two Saviors from different outposts, use the same titles in S8EP3 "Monsters" and S8EP4 "Some Guy" respectively. * This episode marks the first time that the name of a character is included in the episode's title. * This episode marks the return of Jadis, Tamiel, Brion, and the rest of the Scavengers, who were absent since S7EP16 "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life". * It also marks the return of Carl, Siddiq, Michonne, and Rosita, who have been absent since S8EP1 "Mercy". * Jadis mentions the events of S7EP16 "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life" when she and Rick discuss how she grazed him with a bullet. * Jadis is seen building another cat sculpture out of metal parts. Rick had previously taken a cat sculpture from her in S7EP10 "New Best Friends". The same sculpture is also seen in S8EP1 "Mercy". * The polaroids that have been taken since S8EP1 "Mercy" are revealed to serve as proof for the Scavengers of each victory of the Militia. * This episode continues the references to previous situations. * Carl tells Siddiq about Lori Grimes telling him to always do what's right before her death in S3EP4 "Killer Within". * Carl asks Siddiq three questions that Rick's Group used to use to recruit members into the group. * Carol warns Henry that being alone in the woods will lead to him getting lost and never seen again, or will be found as a "monster"; a reference to how Sophia Peletier died. This is also reminiscent of when Carol told Sam he would wake up in the forest alone and surrounded by monsters, never to be seen again in S5EP13 "Forget". * Gregory calls Maggie "Margaret", the same wrong name that he used in S7EP9 "Rock in the Road". * Jadis wrote the letter "A" on the container holding Rick, a reference to the letter "A" used by Gareth's group in S4EP16 "A" and S5EP3 "Four Walls and a Roof" and by the Saviors throughout Season 7. * This episode marks the first time that Rick has appeared in 6 or more consecutive episodes in the 1st half of a single season since S2EP6 "Secrets". * This is also the first time after long that Daryl has appeared in 6 or more episodes in the first half of a season. The last time was in the episode S2EP6 "Secrets". * This is the first sixth episode of a season that Rick has appeared in since S3EP6 "Hounded". * The "fat lady" mentioned in S8EP5 "The Big Scary U" is revealed to be a truck carrying multiple amplifiers playing opera. It previously appeared in the episode S7EP5 "Go Getters". This is a reference to the colloquial proverb of "It ain't over till the fat lady sings" in opera. * The episode summary on the AMC website incorrect refers to Alden as Dean, a separate character who was also present in the episode. * The "A" Jadis drew on the storage container was not irrelevant: it was for a trade to an unknown group of people in exchange for supplies.

Ana Saldana

just for accuracy’s sake, the actors for young henry, older henry, and sophia are siblings. the actor who plays benjamin is unrelated.

KairoWick

I feel like it also does a subtle stab at the extreme story telling she did with Sam
