Pinder

LETS GO

Willie

Testament to the writing, directing and acting that an episode about catching a fly can be so good

Jason Rodriguez

The only episode I would consider is kinda a filler in this show tbh

Michael

after this episode till the rest of the show is straight gas. lets go

George Jones

Oh we ‘bout to be cooking with gas

Athasin

One of the most iconic episodes.

Marv

Walt trying to get rid that fly is a representation of that guilt he’s been carrying throughout the show and him trying to not think about all the chaos he unleashed with his family and his victims but at the end of the episode just like the fly the guilt will forever haunt him and eventually will catch up not only cause harm to him but those he cares for, that’s why when he says “it’s all contaminated” it’s his way just saying everything he’s done has made everyone around his life worse than before he started this self destructive path

Ashleigh

Osafa I saw you dozing off lol fresh braid down looks nice though.

Peter

Worst episode of the show simply because it's filler but still enjoyable.

Gabriel corona

I peaked at Osafa almost knocking out 🤣 sleepy as heck.

JM

The next two episodes 👌

Kendal H

Filler episode. Get ready guys. Things are about to pop off!!

Kendal H

Keep the episodes coming!!! Much love to y’all.

Dimitri Bray

One thing I will say about y’all is that you guys don’t coddle Jessie’s behavior like other reactors/viewers of the show lol because he is kind of the reason Jane got back on drugs and for him to say it’s not his fault is crazy.

connie

"fly up there like a video vixen" 😭😭😭 adison pls

Sam Bond

Bruh Jane literally brought and introduced Jesse to Herion after he told he to leave she’s a grown ass woman lmao she made her choice to not only stay but literally teach Jesse how to shoot up like cmon what is this revisionism with Jane

Dimitri Bray

She was literally 2 years sober until she got with Jesse what are you talking about?

Ariectus

Fun fact, this is the only 'filler' episode of the show, and it was intentional since the creator knew it would air at the same time as the series finale of Lost

Joe McGurl

Because *she* chose to get herself involved with a drug addict/dealer. It's not like Jesse made it a secret--he even told her that she shouldn't be with him--and instead of Jane sticking to her sobriety, she actively chose to put herself in a relationship where she would be exposed to drugs and that lifestyle. It was tragic and that's the hardest and worst part of having an addict as a loved one; watching someone you care for make choices that will be destructive to themselves. But at the end of the day, it's still their choice. Jesse is certainly not a saint but he's also not responsible for Jane's bad decisions.

Dimitri Bray

He kind of is though she was a literal ADDICT! Addiction is a disease and Jesse triggered that addiction, she’s a grown woman yes but he definitely was complicit on her relapse he never stopped her at all he joined in on the temptation and that to me is shitty since you supposedly “loved” this person and he knew she was recovering, I’ve already seen the whole show so I know what happens next in his “ love life” so I don’t want to spoil it. In conclusion, Jesse is shit when it comes to his so called relationship period and y’all are not going to argue with me on that.😂

Sam Bond

The story behind this episode is the they were already way over budget for the season and needed one filler cheap episode desperately so they shot this all in the lab and made one of the most famous and hated/loved episodes, its slower for sure but the obsession with the fly is walts inner turmoils and we see his guilt coming out especially with janes death as he nearly confesssed. Slow but still awesome and neccesary episode imo, the rest of the show is an absloute masterpiece from here on out.

Marv

I mean yeah Jesse had a part to her death however he wasn’t the sole reason, We can’t forget the reasons that led towards Jane death I mean for starters Jesse himself is an addict and top it off if Walt didn’t try to expand into other gang’s territory which jesse warned about, That resulted in one of Jesse best friends getting murdered then maybe Jesse would have not Gone the deep end of drugs abuse, and to add Jane kinda already knew prior that Jesse may have be involved in the drug business. So in hindsight everyone is to blame here for Jane death including herself.

This episode play a role in a upcoming episode later down the road

I've read a lot about this episode and I think the fly is supposed to represent Walt's guilt and he can never really get rid of it. It haunts him. Whereas, Jesse comes in and is able to kill the fly, representing that he has dealt with/worked on his feelings of guilt. Personally, I think it also showcases Walt's very perfectionistic and, honestly, obsessive nature. Nothing, not even the smallest thing, can go wrong with whatever he's focused on/working on, even while that obsession can cause all kinds of larger things to go wrong around him (like his meth needs to be perfect but, meanwhile, his life is falling apart around him)

Chris

This episode was slow, but it was good to stop and get a look at Walt's current state of mind.

In one of the eps hank had a map of the blue meth being distributed everywhere except New Mexico so if blue shows up in state Jessie is gonna be up a creek with the dea and gus

MORE HURRY THE ONLY THING I WATCH FROM YALL

Constantdev

This ep on the outside seems pointless but it's in reality really good. It really shows the underlying, unspoken stresses Walt is going through, in contrast with Jesse who thinks things are currently okay, but is also going through his own personal stresses. Overall really great, secretly deep episode.

Kristien
