Now I know y'all never called him it but rip brother Jesus man, some bts is that Tom Payne was feeling like his character was being wasted and he wanted to die since there were no big deaths during all out war with the Saviors, and was really happy with this death cause he felt like Jesus was one of the most durable ppl on the show and was glad he went out to introduce a new threat.

Rick survived being impaled by rebar, bleeding out for an entire episode, getting attacked multiple times while bleeding out, and getting exploded into a river.... Paul not surviving that little backshot was because he had the opposite of "plot armor."

Fun fact the actor of jesus wanted to leave the show because they were underutilize his character and was not used how he was in the comics he took martial arts classes to pre pare for his role but they didnt use him a perfect example is in the comics jesus and negan had a fight that wasnt in the show

Jesus is a VERY common name in Spanish speaking communities. Nothing wrong with calling folks Jesus. Jesus is a name, not an honorific such as God. And Jesus' name was actually Yeshua in Aramaic, his language. Not Jesus. A confusion of categories. Buddhists name their sons Siddhartha, which was the Buddha's common name, but not Buddha. Mohammeds everywhere, but no Allahs. No major religious tradition believes using given names is any kind of blasphemy. Maybe go ask your minister. No mocking here. Friends gave him the nickname Jesus cuz he looks like the Jesus in so many anglo traditions. (Jesus born in present-day Palestine and raised in present-day Israel, so those anglo depictions misleading at best. Is this also blasphemy?) Anyways, in any context, gay or straight completely irrelevant. That's not my Jesus. --From one Christian to another.

He wanted to be off the show. Felt his character not being used. He is right, he should have been used way more. And I think they made him gay because the have a quota to fill. Not disrespecting anyone that's just what it feels like. Ive heard a gay reactor say that before, only reason why I'm saying it and think he may be right. Heard black reactors say that too. Several of them. Especially at the beginning heard someone say only way they get a new black actor is to kill current one. Not saying is true, have no idea but I can see why it's what lots of people think. It's definitely true on reality shows too. Sad. I definitely see them killing off black actors when they bring in another... we had t dog for a while but they killed his character off then brought in the prisoner... killed him off then brought in Tyrese.... they had ty and the preacher then Noah.. after a few episodes they killed off ty then Bob then Noah and all we had left was father Gabriel and a bunch of background characters like sashas husband (black bald headed guy from Alexandria) i think he's still on there but I don't remember his name.... they had the guy with the dreads but he disappeared out of nowhere when he left with Tara but now we have the king and father Gabriel and both of them are now main characters

The guy with Tara was Corey Hawkins. He left to go star in 24: Legacy. Only 1 season but it was great. I loved 24 also which it was a spinoff from. Action from beginning to end. 24 Legacy, you should watch for sure

Homophobic is coming from a place of hate, God tells you to guide people coming from love which is the exact opposite.
