That's some lame behavior thats the problem with a lot of men today they feel like they have to put up a front for everyone even their loved ones. We all bleed the same and anybody could've ended up hospitalized or worse even. At least Hank was able to deal with the cousins.

He is lashing out mainly because he feels emasculated and stripped of his entire identity as Hank Schrader big bad DEA agent he has lived his whole life bieng strong and independent but has now been reduced to feeling weak and unable and because for a long time a core tenant of Masculinity is that crying, and processing those emotions is seen as weak he isn't equipped to handle those feelings and lashes out at Marie because she is there and unyielding all he wants to do is turn his back on those feelings and focus on a distraction the rocks and because Marie is a good wife she is trying to make him face those emotions because its the only way for him to get better mentally the only way out is through
