There's alot of shows coping off this way before black mirror. Outer limits, tales from the dark side, night gallery etc

Katlyn

YES WE WANT MORE BLACK MIRROR. Also Brandon is right but dramatic af. 😂

Rosedawson87

FINALLY!!!! I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR THIS SERIES FOREVER!!! THANK YOU!

Rosedawson87

Many shows and movies were made off of episodes from this series. The Truman Show, Lost, Time Lasp, Clockstoppers, Megan, Child's Play, Manifest, and many more

Hanna

Rod Serling was so great he really was ahead of & beyond time & space... Basically had to hide his ideas in scifi to get it shown. Brilliant self-reflection on humanity.. this stuff worth watching all of it! Copy paste below of better description than mine! *Rod Serling had to hide his social and political commentary in science fiction because network censors and corporate sponsors heavily restricted his ability to address controversial topics directly. He grew frustrated writing realistic dramas where his scripts about racism, injustice, and war were consistently watered down or rejected entirely. This led him to create The Twilight Zone, where the fantastical setting acted as a creative disguise

bellat

Yesss I second black mirror✅✅✅

PVaughn

The Twilight Zone is a true Classic and an amazing series. I hope y’all watch To Serve Man!

MarcusF

Debatably the best sci fi show of all time since it was a pioneer and influenced so many sci fi shows and movies after it. And the episodes are still better than most shows out. A lot of the episodes are timeless because they speak to the human condition. Yet they're mixed with a bunch of time travel, war, tech , other worldly or superstitious elements. This show is impressive and well written to say the least and honestly should be the standard for how a lot of these shows written today. Y'all should def check out some more episodes

Rene Ward

Reminds me of The Thing

patricepsg1

Yes! More black mirror. I love that show

Log

You should do black mirror! The early seasons!!

Danielle Lee

I’m waiting for Prison Break 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

Rod Serling early scripts for TV were rejected because he was very anti-war and anti-racism - his scripts were too on the nose for the networks. He wrote "A Town Has Turned to Dust" for Playhouse 90 based Emmit Till's death. He had to fight to get CBS to air it, and they did it because he re-wrote it to be set in the past. He realized he could talk about racism & bigotry directly in a sci-fi setting. This laid the foundation for the Twilight Zone. He pitched the show to Desilu Productions (Desi Arnez and Lucille Ball's production company). Other noteworthy episodes "I Am the Night - Color me Black", "Nightmare at 20,000 ft", "To Serve Man" "Eye of the Beholder" and the one I cannot rewatch "Time Enough at Last"---it is too sad. Episodes like this one showed how easy 'good & normal' people can get stirred up by fear of the unknown. He was showing Americans a mirror. I love his writing! You can definitely see his influence in Jordan Peele's work.

Rindamarie

Your conversation at the end - this can definitely happen now, and it does - online! Look at social media. I think ignorance and fear are amplified online. Very few validate what they read. I scroll through YouTube now, and it's more negative clickbait headlines and a sad or angry AI face for the content creator. People validate their fears instead of challenging them with information.

Ashleigh

Yes more black mirror! I don’t think I saw you guys react to it. I promise they’re not all like the first one lol

Katie Davis

You guys should keep this up as a Twilight Zone series! My personal favorite is "Time Enough at Last." Also, "Eye of the Beholder" is really good and actually very creepy.

lola

need more of these!!!

Sherry Bandito

Oh yeah.. twilight zone is a classic

Sherry Bandito

That one guy sure does seem like a generic Andy Griffith

Danger Tomato

Why watch a random episode and not the first episode? And if we're getting super random content like this I'd like to reccomend twin peaks lol

Femme Fatale

A pretty recent movie along these lines that would be excellent is Leave The World Behind. It starred Mahershala Ali and Julia Roberts. It's a Netflix sleeper set to current day. Really good! And I would love to watch you guys edit and dub over a Twilight Zone episode. Do this one! 😁🫶🏾

Nicky A

Because its in no order.

YoYoruichi 🐈‍⬛⚡

Throwing out my recommendations would love to see yall react to Black mirror, Supacell, The girl with all the gifts, Monster, Memoirs of a murderer, midnight runners, Bloodhounds, K2 🙏🏾❤️

Jo_Jo

Y'all should watch,"The Black phone" It a good movie.

Hanna

Yess Time episode is amazing!

A. P.

I had a high school teacher that was a big Twilight Zone fan so we used to watch episodes when we had slow days. This episode one of them ones fr

Serena

Yessssss to black mirror please!!

Serena

Omg yes. Whenever I’ve ever recommended black mirror to anyone I always say just skip the pilot!! lol all other episodes are awesome and very thought provoking and good.

Serena

Absolutely

Tami Hart

This makes me want you guys to watch 12 Angry Men! Classic movie and still so relevant!

EliG

Yes! Those are the very best of the series! I have NEVER forgotten Eye of the Beholder. A true classic and still affects me years after watching. But Time Enough at Last - my favorite favorite episode!

EliG

There are some amazing Twilight Zone episodes. I always watch on New Year's Eve/Day. 24 hours of it!

Diary of a Dragon

This is the last thing I expected you guys to react to. I actually taught this particular story in my 7th grade English class and we watched the episode afterward. The focus was on mob mentality and how quickly things can escalate when fear dominates a group of people. Very interesting episode.m of the Twilight Zone. 🫶🏾

Nancy KD

More Twilight Zone, please! 💜

Crazy Taco

Wow so i also watched an episode of Twilight Zone when I was in high-school and it was this exact episode I remember the dude with the hammer in the loop on his pants my teacher used it as an example of foreshadowing bc you see it early and then see it again when everything goes down

Crazy Taco

This episode was released in the 60s alot of the men born in the early 20s or before they lived through ww2 they built different they not worried about some stupid sky rock lmao thats why they are all calm

Crazy Taco

Definitely down for more

Kristien

How about watching Twilight Zone The movie!!!

LB

I LOVE this show! And i'm young, lol. Rod Serling was a real one! If ya'll need suggestions for some of the best episodes let me know, i got the episode titles ready lol

LB

Yup, on New Year's Eve/Day or 4th of July on the Syfy channel, lol.

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

No Black Mirror 😆 Twilight Zone is so much better and not disgusting

SDSavvy

I think you were trying to say that The Twilight Zone is an anthology series, (like Black Mirror).

SDSavvy

It’s not space aliens doing that to us. It’s bad actors embedded in our media, our education system, our government, etc. They have us at each other’s throats for no good reason as we speak.

AllyBoo124

Other people have said the same but I read and watched this episode in middle school! So much fun and the twilight zone is so good

Jessica Jackson

I would love a reaction to Black Mirror! Maybe with Addison and the fellow in the back cos Brandon and Osafa are haters 😂
